the jersey mikes just opened in reedley ca . been there 3 times. the food is very good there. when i want a sandwich thats where ill go

Usually when we order inside the restaurant the food is fine and made really good but this is the second time I have mobile ordered food here all of the food has been wrong or horribly put together. This time was way worse than any time before. My sandwich had something on it I didn't even order on it, my other sandwich I ordered was completely smashed, and the two bowls I ordered had barely any lettuce in either one of them. Placed a mobile order that was supposed to be ready at 7:30. I walk in and there is no acknowledgement about anyone walking in. Stood by their mobile order and was totally ignored for about 10 minutes be the 2 employees working. One of them even spoke to someone standing next to me and asked them if they had a mobile order. Give the New Pastrami a welcoming embrace and hope it never leaves this menu! My goodness! If you love meaty, often fatty "now hold up!" Don't leave just yet. If you're one for fatty meats, fat means flavor! Then you're gonna love it. If you were on the fence or even hated fat in your meat, trust me, just give it a chance. The flavor punch alone will change your mind. If it doesn't, then you'll be like Jess and shake your head with a solid "no". More for me! Tried the original so far, really anticipating the Chipotle version, but the OG has to be here to stay! It's nice to have another meat selection! Love the Philly! Would even say the Philly is slightly better than the Pastrami. But again, my own opinion and opinions will differ. The pastrami brings everything you want in that moment. It just ends so fast! They're clearly understaffed. Went in during lunchtime and it was very busy with a line to the door but only two workers there scrambling to get orders out. Because it was busy there was no one cleaning and I could see the floor and food stations getting dirty while in line. They were trying their best to be fast so I won't blame them for the wait. Had Jersey Mike's cater a hospital event recently and the food and service could not have been better - everyone was pleased and I was even able to bring some home for the wife and she loved them too! First time ever trying them and boy, am I glad we went that route. As long as the service and quality stay unchanged, I will be a lifelong customer. Seriously some great sandwiches. read more

I came here about 2 o'clock today Friday, March 15, 2024 I got a number #9 the fella with the blue shirt made it for me. The sandwich was delicious. I got it Mike's way with pickles and mustard added I'm not a big fan of the vinegar and oil cause someplace put too much but they did a good job. The vinegar and oil was not too strong. It tasted really good. The inside was very clean when I got there, but you got a bunch of obnoxious people coming in with North-face jackets and flip-flops dropping garbage all over the floor acting like there $hīt don't stink I think I came here once before, and the flip-flops and Northface jackets killed it for me, but they do make up a good sandwich. Another great sandwich! I have been here many times, and everything has always been great. I order on the app, and my order is always ready.

The first Jersey Mike's Subs shop in the area is now open and I'm here for it. I came by on my way home to pick up some lunch. I was a big fan of a JMS near my home in SoCal, so I was excited to try this one out. The location is a decent size with an awkward layout and generic. It feels like a reuse of fixtures from any other sandwich shop, but that's okay, I was getting mine to go. The service was fast and friendly, and employees seemed to be happy to be there. I had mentioned that I enjoyed JMS and the employee said that she had never even heard of it until she applied for the job which I thought was funny. I ordered the #13 which is The Original Italian done "Mike's way". I always ask for light lettuce and oil and vinegar on the side. Be sure to keep an eye when getting the oil and vinegar directly on the sandwich because the sandwich before mine was loaded up. My sandwich came out exactly how I wanted, and I will definitely go back. Not exactly sure what all of the low scores are about, but that was not my experience. read more

The food is fresh, but if you're expecting your app order to be ready on time, GOOD LUCK! Today was my 3rd & final visit to this location. The 1st visit was fine. The 2nd visit I entered at the time my order was to be ready (according to the app). The girl behind the counter said "it was almost ready" I waited an additional 5 minutes, then they discovered my ticket was never printed. By the time I received my order, it was 25 minutes passed the time shown in the app. Today my order was not ready on time, it was 17 minutes past the time shown in the app when the bag was handed to me. And to top it off, no one bothered to say Thank you... When I sat in my car to eat my sandwich, I found that mine was on white bread, I ordered wheat, even my receipt stated wheat bread. The staff is great about wiping down the equipment, changing gloves, and using separate utensils to prepare the food, I've yet to have a reaction from eating at this Jersey Mike's. I was born and raised in Philadelphia, my whole entire life. I've eaten so many cheesesteaks and hoagies. I don't even know the number. And I'm telling you this is the best cheesesteak and hoagie place in California that I've ever had since I've lived out here the last five years. The staff at this particular restaurant definitely gets an A+++ they are nothing but kind and making incredible sandwiches. The manager Natalie, does her job superbly at the highest level . Making sure her staff is taken care of and that they are making the best sandwiches. She is a great leader and does a wonderful job. This is my first time at a Jersey Mike's and it was amazing. Customer service was excellent, the guy that took our order talked to us quite a bit and maintained high speed service while carrying on a conversation. The guy that put our sandwich together also had excellent customer service as well as the cashier. Very talkative, nice, friendly, and helpful. The shop seemed very clean and that was a major plus. The people on here complaining about too much oil and vinegar can simply ask for a smaller amount. My fiancé and I personally thought it was the perfect amount of oil and red wine vinegar. I walked in placed an order for my family (3 sandwiches) and when I get to pay the cashiers is full on having a conversation with a co worker that is not on her shift. They are loud and completely ignore me when trying to pay. Her co workers just look at her but no one tells her there is a PAYING CUSTOMER . We waited a while for a hot sandwich. UNSANITARY and Unprofessional. Ordered my food, two female employees were talking and one female handed a cellphone to the other (who was wearing gloves) she put her phone in her pocket and then proceeded to touch, cut, and wrap sandwiches. When she got to my order I asked that she change gloves before she touched my food since she grabbed her phone with those gloves. She giggled and changed her gloves and remade my sandwich so I wasn't worried about it. While waiting for my hot subs, the other female employee starts talking to another employee and uncovering a bandaid she had on her neck standing next to the food items. Starts messing with her bandaid to show the other employee and then puts it back and goes about her business of talking. The two employees then walk out of the store and I ask to speak with the manager about how they should be mindful when customers are around and how unsanitary that is. And the employee informs me that one of those ladies is the manager and that the other employee was covering up a Hicky with the bandaid so it was nothing to worry about. Anyways, I'm never eating at that location again. If that's what they do in front of customers, I can only imagine what is down when no one is around. Gross. read more

Just want to give a shout out to the manager and staff of this place! You guys went above and beyond! We asked for a large bread order. It was way out of the scope of what you usually do. You accommodated us, were amazingly helpful, and we really appreciated it. And the bread was awesome to boot. Great job to the owner, general manager, or whoever staffs this location. At this day and age is very hard to find employees let alone employees who care and go out of their way to make someone feel welcome and want to come back and your staff did all those things and then some. Today was our first visit. Not impressed. Never going back. Our online order was 25 minutes late but the worst part was watching the cashier rub her sweat off her face and then reach inside a cup to hand it to a customer. She removed her hat and shook her hair out in the food area and then proceeded to scrape her teeth with her fingernails and then went to wrap up our sandwiches!!! She is working the register and then Goes to handle the food without gloves. I am so grossed out, I will never eat here again. The health board should know about this! Then the subs were so similar that we had to open our subs up and tear into them to see which sub was who's because there was nothing written on them to tell which was which!
