I ordered my food and they got me in and out in 6 minutes!! Food was hot, I decided food court ambiance was the perfect pairing with my bacon cheesesteak . It was a little lacking in flavor, this is just speaking from always wanting to try a cheesesteak and felt it was missing some sazon but that's okay. Came out to $14 so if I'm in a quick pinch for a hot cheesesteak...I'll be back!! P.S. if you're looking for a nice cheese pull you're not getting it here read more

I'd rate this a five star if the prices weren't so outrageous, it's ridiculous how one meal alone is nearly 25$ dollars and when you order something with bacon or extra cheese they hardly give you, your moneys worth! I've always enjoyed Charlie's it's delicious but I'd rather not spend so much money on a meal that's taxed out the ass. Picture for example "one little slice of bacon for a 12$ sandwich. read more

Charleys Cheesesteaks - Fast Food Near Me - Visalia, California

Ever since it's opening I've found myself always ordering from here during Mall shopping days. Can you blame me? The Chicken California always knocks it out of the park! Always a joy to see the grill master at work. Can't say I had a bad experience. Always friendly and provide great quality! read more

I ordered three sandwiches and waited for a take out order. When my number was called there were only 2 sandwiches. I checked my receipt and the receipt was for 2 sandwiches but I ordered 3. I ordered another sandwich and paid and waited again. When we arrived home the 3rd sandwich didn't have the correct ingredients and there was no cheese. The 4 sandwiches with fries and drinks was approximately $60. At that point you don't drive all the way back. It was a big drag for one of us abd the food was for a birthday. read more

Andrew was awesome always a pleasure to see him makes the drive and the meal worth it

I cannot say my first experience at Charlies Cheesesteaks was a complete miss because of their amazing staff. Every employee I interacted with was very helpful and seemed genuinely concerned for any needs, but the main point of dinner is the food. I had the opportunity to try two sandwiches on their menu, (Chicken California and Chicken Teriyaki) but unfortunately was not what I was expecting. Neither sandwich had any real flavor, even with the Teriyaki sauce soaking through the sandwich it lacked any real flavor. With many other great options around town, I don't see myself picking Charleys again any time soon. read more

Given that this is a chain of restaurants that specializes in Philadephia-style cheesesteaks and other grilled sandwiches, I generally expect Charley's to be the same no matter where I go. For some reason, the sandwich I got at this location (a philly steak deluxe) wasn't up to par. They probably didn't add the usual amount of meat I get in a regular size. Add to that the disinterested look of the employees while cooking my sandwich, and it felt like an ordeal ordering food there. In fact, they said that they would call my number instead of me just waiting next to the food being cooked (and I was the only one ordering there at the time!) Then again, the other food choices at the mall aren't such a joy to choose from and didn't look appetizing. At least the food is freshly cooked here. read more

if could give this horrible ass place no stars i would. everytime i go here something ends up nasty or wrong. only a few times ive been truly satisfied. you can get a sandwich with no onion but yet itll forsure taste like it!!! spent over $60 ended up with a horrible ass sandwich. do not go here. and if your do pray they have a good day and your order comes out right. i want a fucking refund. read more

Hats off to the cook and cashier. I was waiting for Charley's to open when I heard a bunch of teenagers chatting and laughing, making me wonder: "What the, are they all cutting school?" However, it looks like they were on a choir trip or something (wearing all black). I shuttled my butt to Charley's before the swarm overwhelmed the staff. I ordered a chicken teriyaki sandwich with no cheese. Despite the deluge of orders and severe multitasking involving mulitple orders, the cashier and cook handled everything with happy smiles. If I were at the other side of the counter, I am sure I would've felt much more frantic. Great service!!! I didn't get to eat the sandwich, but my husband said it was very good. Even without the cheese! read more

Expect to wait but it's worth it. Their sandwiches are always good and it's better to eat them right away . It's a little bit pricey but I get them once in a while. Their service is always good ,the owners sometimes comes out and get your orders. read more

Do not eat here. I seriously just found a hair in my fry and the manager didnt even ask if I wanted another meal or my money back, he just assumed i wanted another meal, which I didnt. When I asked for my money back he said well they already made it. I said well there was a hair in there so I just want my money back please. He said well so sorry he already made kt and started helping the next customer. All of the employees but one girl were so rude and disrespectful. I know its just a place in the mall but seriously. They didnt put as much meat as the Fresno location or others and just had an overall bad experience. Will never eat here again. read more

Was driving down the 198 and needed a place to eat. I came across the Visalia Mall and decided that I wanted to eat something at the food court. With such a large selection of places to eat at, I found myself wanting everything-- anything sounds good when you're hungry, am I right?-- and soon I decided I would try somewhere I've never been to before, Charley's Grilled Subs. I first came across Charley's and found a rather welcoming cashier ready to take my order. I have never eaten at Charley's so I asked the cashier, who seemed to have this mesmerizing smile, for recommendations. Soon enough I was given a Bacon 3 Cheese Meal including fries and a soda (in which I substituted for their specialty blueberry lemonade). I was absolutely grateful for the cashier's recommendation as I started to eat the meal. I had the option of adding seasoning to my fries, in which I took advantage of in order to provide more flavor to my crispy, fresh fries. The specialty blueberry lemonade surprised me as Charley's includes actual blueberries into my lemonade that gives a much more unique and refreshing component to the drink. The main entree, the Bacon 3 Cheese, was absolutely phenomenal. I loved how the sandwich was full of different, unique flavors from a variety of cheeses, how the bacon provided a savory taste to compliment the saltiness of the cheeses, and how the crunchy, buttery bread component helped to pull the whole sandwich into one delightful experience. I really would like to thank whoever the cashier was for providing me with such an amazing sandwich, and I would now like to try everything else on the menu. If you are reading this, whoever gave me the order, I am grateful for your recommendation and service, despite not having ever experienced a place like Charley's Grilled Subs! read more

My daughter and I came here on May 1,2017. There was a long line that took awhile.A lady took my order. 2 large Philly Cheesesteaks with meat, onions, bell peppers, provolone cheese.I added lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. 2 small fries and 2 drinks. It was all $28. As we waited the workers were talking to each other. After 20 minutes we got our food. Everything was hot. Tasted OK nothing special about it but it is worth having once in awhile. read more

I hate food court places, but was famished after shopping so my hubby and I decided to try a Philly cheesesteak. I was pleasantly surprised! While it doesn't compare to a super authentic Philly establishment, it was pretty delicious in its own right. Perfectly tender meat, grilled onions, and bell peppers topped with melted provolone. We were happy campers. The fries are pretty damn good too! read more

Came here for lunch with a friend of mine and he wasn't over exaggerating about how tasty the sub's are. I ordered the philly cheese chicken sub meal that came with fries and a drink for only 4.99! Good price, good food. The only thing that bothered me was that they are not to generous on the meat. read more

I Love Charley's but for some reason it's not nearly as good as the Fresno location. I love that's it's all freshly prepared right in front of you and there's no secret back kitchen. read more

Very incompetent servers. Food was late coz all of them were chatting and don't attend to their customers and kept us waiting.

I had never heard of "Charley's." I simply logged on looking for a good sandwich shop nearby my current location. Within the distance I wanted to drive, Charley's had the highest rating. So, I trusted my fellow "yelpers" and headed out. I'll be honest... I was expecting a hometown, privately-owned sandwich shop. What I found was a chain-shop in the middle of a mall food court. If I were basing this review on what I had "hoped for" it would be much different. If you are foodie-snob (which, depending on the situation, we all can be at times) you will not like this place at all - there are no "mild, hints of herbs" or anything like that to be pretentious about. But, that's not fair to Charley's - they are what they are. The food was prepared EXACTLY the way I ordered it. It was done so quickly and served very hot! I purchased a "regular size combo" and it was more than enough food for the average person. Bottom line... If you're looking for a hot "philly-like" sandwich, and you're the type of person who enjoys that type of sandwich, Charley's is probably a place you will consistently enjoy! read more

We stop by here once a week. I get either the chicken California or chicken Philly. Both are great. With simple ingredients like chicken, cheese, grilled onions and bell peppers and lettuce you can't really go wrong. Haven't had any bad experiences with this place so far. Sometimes they have someone in front handing out samples so if you haven't tried it yet, you should. I just love any type of sandwich in general and Charley's subs makes the cut for me. read more

The food is good and didn't have to wait long. My complaint is that i ordered a kids meal and forgot to ask for ranch nor was I asked if I would like a dipping sauce for my son chicken strips. When I sat down my son asked me where his ranch was so I had my daughter run back to get some . When she returned she said that she was told that it was additional .50 cents which I didn't have because I used debit. Such an inconvenience. It would of been nice if I was asked from the get go and the additional .50 cents wouldn't of been an issue. read more

I was okay, my buddy kept talking about how awesome there subs were. I had the chicken teriyaki a bit dry. I really couldn't hear the poor lady yelling out order's. I'll give it one more shot just not any time soon. If it's crowded steady close to the pick-up area. It's hard to hear the orders called out.... read more

I've been eating at this place since high school. Chicken California is the best sandwich to order.

This is one of the best places to eat at the Visalia mall. While it may be a bit more expensive than plain old subway, the way the sandwiches are made can't compare to a lousy, roughly made subway meal. I always get the Chicken Teriyaki and it never fails to disappoint me. read more
