    Fried tofu vermicelli
    Julius M.

Heading to Mariposa, we decided to make a quick stop in Visalia and try Banh Mi Amour--one of the highest-rated spots on Yelp. Since it was Good Friday, we went with some lighter (and non-meat) options for my wife and me: the fried tofu vermicelli and shrimp spring rolls. For the boys, we got the charbroiled pork banh mi and the pork and shrimp plate. Everything was extremely flavorful--the kind of bold, fresh Vietnamese taste that hits just right. The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and the service was friendly. It's a great little gem of a Vietnamese restaurant tucked away in Visalia. Definitely worth stopping for if you're passing through the Central Valley! Highly recommend. We'll be back next time we're in the area.

The Special Beef Pho is one of the most flavorful bowls of pho I've had. The portion was generous, which is expected for pho, and the balance of meat and noodles was spot on. It was so well seasoned that I didn't need to add any condiments. The Vietnamese iced coffee was strong--in a good way--with great flavor. The restaurant itself was clean with nice decor. Ordering is done at the counter and then you take a seat; while it's not full table service, the food came out quickly. I came during the lunch rush and almost didn't get a table, which says a lot about how popular the place is. Overall, a really good experience

Just discovered another Asian/Vietnamese Restaurant in the Visalia Area! Wanted to check it out and dine in with wife Upon arrival, I think we beat the lunch rush around 12:45 p.m. because there were plenty of seat and tables available. Granted the business establishment is small and located next to Chuck E. Cheese. So there wasn't really any wait time to get seated and we paid up front as we ordered our food We ordered their Pho Soup Noodle Beef Special, Spring Roll with Marinated Grill Pork, Banh Mi Amour Special Sandwich, Thai Tea and Vietnamese Coffee. The Pho Soup Broth was delicious and hit on point! They didn't skimp out on the meats, which is a great thing! The Pork Spring roll was yummy too! We enjoyed the quality of meats they took time marinating and grilling. Not to chewy and the flavor and texture was perfect! Their Banh Mi Amour Special had to be our favorite! We've been trying to find a location that makes and sell Banh Mi Sandwich near our area. I think this will be our go to spot from now on for Vietnamese Banh Mi Sandwich. Bread was fresh, crispy, vegetable such as carrots and dicon was fresh and the meats was also tasty Food didn't take long at all to arrive to our table. I have to say I like their speedy and friendly service. Cashier Girl up front was nice and friendly. No complaints with their customer service. I would definitely recommend my family and friends to come try out this business establishment!

I used to live here, and back then there weren't many Asian food options--but that's definitely changed! I was visiting from out of town and decided to stop by after seeing so many great reviews. We tried a variety of banh mi, and everything was delicious and very satisfying. We also ordered vermicelli bowls, and the portions were generous. No pictures because we were hungry and ate it up quick. The servers were really friendly and helpful, and they were patient while I was ordering. There was a bit of a wait, but that's because everything is made to order, which is totally worth it. The restaurant itself is cute and inviting, with modern decorations. Overall, a great experience, and I'll definitely be back when I'm in town again.

    Fried chicken leg and rice

Visited the restaurant on Friday 5pm, there's not many people there, we ordered takeout, fried chicken leg with rice, banh mi and shrimp toast. It took us about 30 minutes for the food, not sure what caused the long wait, I saw there were 4-5 staffs in kitchen. The food were mediocre, amour special banh mi was served cold, fried chicken was okay but the rice was tasteless, toast was crispy but the shrimp mayo was tasteless and hardly any shrimp meat in it.

Overall the experience was fine. The place was small and quaint. The service was good. One server, she was very interactive. I really enjoyed her service. She was serving everyone their food. I went with the s/o and friend. We ordered: The chicken leg with rice. The consomme is sweet 4/5 Beef pho, lacked stock flavor 4/5 The eggroll , love the outer shell 4/5 Salt and pepper Tofu. The veggies needed to cook more and the tofu needed to be tossed more in the flavor. 3/5 I did order the banh mi amor sandwiches to go... looking forward to that. Overall I would come back again. I'm back from my banh mi and I would say... I understand why everyone raves about the sandwich. So good! The banh mi alone was 5/5. If you're eating in, make sure to grab a sandwich to go! My friends and I are already planning to come back for the banh mi.

Had the shrimp toast and the mixed cold cut banh mi. Both were very reasonable. The shrimp toast was generous - five or six rounds of fresh baguette topped with the hot chopped shrimp mixture for about $11. Saving the banh mi for later, but I have been here once before for their grilled chicken banh mi and found it to be very good. Everything was fresh, and the place was clean - the counter workers were wiping down all the chairs in between customers - the seats and the legs! Nice to see. Will definitely be back.

We had a very nice meal here! The restaurant is small and so there's not a ton of seating and the tables are a bit small. You order at the counter and then they bring the food to your table. The woman at the counter was very kind and had good recommendations. The food was ready very quickly but was hot and fresh! My husband got the banh mi sandwich at thought it was delicious! I had chicken pho and it was delicious! The broth was very flavorful and the portion size was huge! Also, the pork spring rolls were incredible! I was so impressed with the flavor of the pork.

Banh mi amour special and charbroiled chicken spring rolls
    Chris P.

Banh mi and spring rolls are fantastic. The charbroiled option adds a ton of flavor. Peanut sauce is good too. Thicker than a lot of places. Pho though.... No flavor. Tasted like bowl of water with things floating in it. Hardly touched it. Table next to us did the same thing. Hopefully it was a one off, but I'm not willing to try it again. People were friendly and service was good. It's in strip mall. Not a huge place, but was quick and clean.

The food here is absolutely delicious and consistently tasty. I have never had a bad experience. The pho, sandwiches, and spring rolls are always fresh and flavorful. I've recommended this place to many people and can confidently say you'll have an excellent experience. The restaurant is very clean, the customer service is great, and the food never disappoints. You really can't go wrong dining here.

Nevaeh's (charbroiled beef with rice and veggies), and it came with a broth that was so delicious I could've had a whole bowl of just that.

Just an out-of-towner exploring one city at a time and tasting everything it has to offer and this spot did not disappoint. Flavorful, comforting, and absolutely worth the stop. Must-try spot.

We came to pick up dinner on a cold rainy day, Bahn Mi Amour is next to the trampoline park. We ordered shrimp spring rolls, egg rolls, charbroiled chicken bahn mi, and some goodies for dessert. Everything was delicious and well seasoned, can't wait to come back for the pho! Here's some pictures of the menu, desserts, a list of allergens for people w food allergies, and of course pictures of the food! They have about 12 tables, very spacious inside. Staff is very friendly and great service! Hours Mon-Sat 930-8pm, Sunday 9:30-7pm. Come on by and try it out!

    Terri S.

Very flavorful food here! We got a lot of dishes to try out, and every one of them were a hit! My favorite was definitely the pho ga and fried tofu. The tofu was crispy outside and soft and hot inside - Just the way I like it. Servers were quick and attentive, and the restaurant was very clean and kept up. This place was a good pit stop restaurant to get my vietnamese food cravings satisfied

I'll usually take half the sandwich home. Can't go wrong with any style. I didn't think I'd like the traditional banh mí with pâté but was pleasantly surprised! It was good! I wish the available sauces on the table were cleaned daily, they can be sticky with dried up sauce on the caps or the fish sauce spout clogged. Although, that one complaint, the food is consistent and delicious ... although, I have had more flavorful broth elsewhere, I still enjoy this restaurant. The Banh Mí sandwich bread is so light, crispy, and soaks up that broth beautifully! Service is quick. Restaurant is small with plenty of seating. They've got to work on cleanliness though & change cleaning rags daily, if not more often. Smelly rags & tables, & noticing servers not wash hands between cleaning and serving isn't good business. I hope this will get better. Maybe that day was a one off ... but I'm not so sure.
