This place is a great neighborhood spot. The service was excellent and the server greeted regulars by name so it shows that they care about their customers. I really enjoyed the food. Which adds to the funky food offerings? The menu is fairly small, but very varied. The operation seems small, but the service was quick and attentive. The portions sucked. I got 2 beef bulgogi plates and it was mainly rice with about 1 scoop of meat each. The bulgogi itself was ehhh in flavor, I was expecting more for the price. I have to update a previous review. I went here recently to try it out again. My previous review was after Big Bang Grill took over ownership of Korean House. The food at that time was no where near the flavor or quality of the previous owners. It was disappointing because it was the same menu options without the same taste. BUT... after going back years later I have to say they dramatically improved. I LOVED the food and it reminded me so much of Korean House recipes. Everything is fresh so you will wait longer than usual to get your food but it's made with love. They also have to be tied with lady's chicken and rice fodder the freshness and quality. They do sell out of them quickly tho so order in advanced. Also they actually take the time to answer the calls no matter how busy they are. Their portions are very generous. I went in with my daughter she ordered a large pho and I got the large khasoy. My daughter ate all her food and well I just couldn't lol I took mine to go and gave it to my mom. My daughter said it was 10 out of 10 lol my mom said she loved the khasoy and to bring her some next time. I thought it was pretty good! The owners are very nice! Food was served quickly. This is a really fun little hole in the wall. It's right on the corner and is easy to miss. They are right next to the donut shop. I love that they've been there for three years but their banner is still just hung up over the old taco shop sign and you can still see it underneath. It feels very local and non-touristy. There are only about five booths and two tables, and you order your food at the counter then they bring it to you, so it's very casual. They do not serve alcohol for those who are interested. The people who work there were very friendly and helpful. We told the man at the counter that we were first timers and he offered to show us pictures of the food items and was helpful with descriptions of the dishes. I ordered the spicy noodle with the beef (bulgogi style) and it was fantastic! Some of the best I've ever had. It had green and red bell peppers and onions in it. I also had their chicken and sticky rice appetizer which was okay. It was a little odd for me since it was two big chicken legs and I was not expecting that, but maybe that was just my ignorance. With two drinks, two main dishes and one appetizer the total was $40 something, so I think that is very reasonable. I can't wait to go back and try more! read more

Great experience for my first time going there. Went their around evening time (6pm). Food was great and very tasty. I had the chicken and rice, fried rice with over easy grilled egg on top. Greg (owner, who took over the Korean house restaurant) provided great customer service. Though he was by himself, and 90% of the tables were filled. He was able to check on us occasionally, refilled our waters, and accommodated our needs. Only pictures i have are the menus. I started eating the food as soon as I received it. Next time I will most definitely take pictures of the food. Lastly, upon getting to know Greg for a short time, they will be installing a grill/fryer tomorrow (11/8/19).
