Even with the rush, the staff was incredibly friendly and my order was ready surprisingly fast. The menu is huge, so it's a great spot if you're feeding a group with different cravings. The Food: The burger was solid and filling-you can tell they aren't using frozen patties that have been sitting out. But the real stars? The fries. They were piping hot, perfectly seasoned, and hit that specific "fry craving" better than any big chain I've been to lately. Also, their ranch is legit. friendly service. umm, I wanted to love my chicken fried steak sandwich but it needed some sauce or something. it ended up being quite dry. the fries were perfectly to my liking. got a free refill which is always nice. seems like the locals enjoy it. I like small town eateries and supporting small local businesses. Today was my first time at Burger Express and I was impressed with their friendly service. The Vibe was nice as if they already knew me. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger and Fries to go. The Bacon Cheese Burger is excellent and yummy. Fries were perfect and not oily at all. Made my order, the lady double checked what I asked for I said correct. Tired and hungry we drove back to the hotel without checking. I know my fault. Seeing that she got the order wrong I went back to get it fixed. Even though I was upset I smiled and stated the order was wrong and if it can be fixed. I also stated that "now my fries are gonna be cold when I get back. Took a little time to get my burger since it was busy. After about 10 mins I received my order. She asked it she could make it better by giving me an ice cream or something I said no it's fine and noticed she gave me Crinkle Cut Fries. I mean she checked the ticket so I figured since I ordered Curly Fries I would've got some fresh ones. I'm only giving two stars because the fries were the only good thing over there. The fries had more seasoning than the burger. The bun had more crust than the patty. Do yourselves a favor and cough up the extra cash and go across the street to A&W. Stopped there today expecting taco, burritos but instead cheeseburgers and fries. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries and they were really good. Service was fast and friendly. What really turned me off was the person taking my order had a shirt on the read very plainly F@(;:K NO and it wasn't abbreviated. Clearly spelled out. I stopped here for the 1st time and am always reluctant when trying out a new spot because you never what your going to get. Fortunately I received great customer service and my food was excellent. The burgers had a great sauce, the fries were cooked perfectly and not over-seasoned and cheese sticks were good as well. We were very pleased with the food because many spots nowadays just use the same "Tik Tok sauce" on their burgers and we are getting tired of that same ol same ol taste. It was refreshing to see that this spot reverted back to old fashioned style tasting burgers of the past. It really reminded me of how burgers tasted when I was a young boy in the late 70's early 80's. They were great! I will definitely go back whenever I am in the area. Great job guys!
