I'm extremely disappointed with my experience here. My cousin and I both ate at this restaurant and shortly afterward became very sick with symptoms consistent with food poisoning. We both experienced similar symptoms, which makes me very concerned that something we ate may have been contaminated or improperly handled. I understand that it can be difficult to know exactly what caused an illness, but having two people get sick after eating at the same place is extremely concerning. This place has the best loaded mac and that's about it. Came here on 7/25 around 8ish and honestly the customer service was just dry & sad. It was a mood mixed. The cashier took a while to attend my daughter & I. This place used to be packed and full of life. The vibe has changed a lot. The only thing I don't really like in my loaded mac is the fries but I guess it's alright if you have a few. The flavor is always right. The spice levels are very misleading, I generally enjoy spicy foods such as buldok noodles which are known to be extremely spicy.( this should give you a frame of reference) so I ordered a Mac bowl with spice level of "hot" which is in the middle of their scale. Well let's just say the meal was unbearable both your throat and tounge will burn until they go numb with just the first few bites. Great service and great food. We got the bowls and they filed us up and lots of flavor. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Sometimes the chicken can be dry and over cooked but not at Angry Chickz they know how to cook the chicken. And the flavor in the bowls is amazing with the spice level on the chicken and the Mac and Cheese is so yummy and the coleslaw tastes so yummy. This place is great but I was pretty disappointed by my order. I ordered loaded Mac n cheese and a side of fries to go but when I got into my car the fries were super cold and stale. I went back in and the employee was really nice and gave me new fries! Which was super nice of them. When I got home and opened up my Mac n cheese I realized that the noodles were plain with no cheese sauce and there was just a little bit of drizzle. This was my 3rd time visiting Angry Chickz. I am not disappointed one bit. I order the combo number 1 (2 chicken sliders with coleslaw and fries. You get to choose your spice level (I choose medium level). The combo doesn't come with a beverage, so you need to order that separately. I also ordered a side of Mac and cheese for $3.50. The sliders were so tasty. The chicken was well cooked and the sauce was a perfect touch to the deliciousness. They provide you a good full portion of fries. I couldn't even finish them all, so I ordered a to go box for them. They forgot to give me a fork with my order but I simply went to ask for one and they quickly provided me with one. The staff were friendly and fast. You have the option for indoor or outdoor dining. With this summer heat in Visalia, I decided to do indoor since it was super cool inside. I went back to Angry Chickz because well it was the right thing to do. They followed the COVID rules to a T. And the staff were awesome!! Instead of the sliders I got the loaded Mac and Cheese with a chicken tender on the side. You know waiting for my meal was relaxing, I liked the music, sounded like techno and disco all in one, but I liked it. Anyways when I got my order they had ran out of ketchup, but their special sauce made up for it...I was asking for a friend. So the loaded Mac and Cheese. Where do I start...the bowl was huge, again I am not a weak eater, and this was filling. The bowl consisted of their spicy fries SOOOO GOOOD! Smothered in chicken and macaroni and cheese with their special sauce. It was amazing!!! This was the first time I ever had anything like this I can't explain the gloriousness my taste buds experienced. It was damn good. Don't get me started on the chicken tender on a toasted slice of white bread and pickle. I smothered it with their sauce and well....you will need to experience it for yourself. Just do it!! Well. Let's start with the positives. Military Rates are here- make sure to have your ID. Staff was friendly! I didn't have to wait that long for my order. It was fresh and hot. I appreciated that. Now for the critical review, As a southerner, fried chicken is one our staples upon many dishes. The sauce is what saved the meal. Honestly the fries was the best part when paired with the sauce. Horrible service Waited here after ordering today For almost 25 minutes before approaching Lauren ( who is working the register today) and asked about our food which she said had to be remade cause some issue with the chicken but once I received my food 5 minutes later it was cold . Oh my goodness, this place is AMAZING. I can understand why there was a line out the door. They are currently practicing social distancing, so only a few customers are allowed inside at a time. The ordering process was quick, despite the five minute wait outside. I decided to order an individual slider (known as an extra slider), with only pickles in the mild flavor and a side of Mac and Cheese. It came out to around $9 before tip. The restaurant itself is clean with bright custom art on all areas of wall. The back of the restaurant has a sauce station, where they have their secret sauce, as well as the soda fountain. My order only took a few minutes to come out. The chicken slider looked like a normal chicken sandwich to me, so perhaps people can get a slider combo and share? The chicken smelled amazing, had the perfect seasoning, the mild wasn't hot at all, just a touch of spice on the tongue. The meat was juicy and hot (I ate it about fifteen minutes after getting it!) The Mac and Cheese was creamy and stringy, a sign they use real cheese! The type of noodle is a large elbow noodle that holds the sauce perfectly. All in all, this meal was fabulous. Had the opportunity to stop by @theangrychickz today for lunch. Just opened in Visalia. We got the #1 combo. (2) sliders with slaw and fries (hot). The fries were fantastic. The sliders are a great size and very tasty. I love some heat. But like to taste the food too. Will definitely go back. But the medium might be the perfect match for my pallet. Another chicken joint in town and it's pretty busy at lunch. I waited longer than I would have liked. The combos are very generous portions. There is a range of how spicy you want your chicken. Medium is labeled perfect but could have a little more kick to it. Combo 4 is two large strips and side of slaw and rice much like rice a roni. The slaw is not creamy and it's all added in together in one container. I like my slaw cold so when it's warm it has a more bitter taste. It's a sloppy look for sure and not sure rice is a southern side. But, the hero shines! The chicken is cooked well and not over and the breading gives it a nice crisp. The pickles are lackluster and could really add to the flavor profile if they were better quality. The price is a little much about $18 to $20 but again large portions so could easily feed two or you'll snag 2 meals out of your order. The food is pretty decent I can't lie. Not the largest selection but the food is good. But my issue is the restrooms. They have 1 women's restroom, and 1 unisex restroom. No men's restroom. AND the unisex restroom was "out of order". Legally, restaurants are required to provide restrooms for their customers, and for the men they did not. My husband had to use the women's restroom due to them not providing a mens. I will contact a higher up if this is not fixed soon. read more

Saturday at 6PM 1/28/23.. It was my first time dining here and I decided to dine in restaurant with my small family of 3. First the service was very polite and respectful. They had pictures with descriptions for all things on the menu which made the process very straightforward. The cashier girl had good energy around her and was patient while we were ordering. My total for two people came out to $38 After about 10-15 minutes of ordering and heading to get our drinks and find a table, our order was ready. The cashier offered extra sauce and pointed out where I can grab extra napkins if I need more with the 3 utensil packets I was already given. Here's the important part. THE FOOD. Once the surprised feeling left my mind about the quickness of the food, it was time to start grubbing. I ordered the Angry Mac with an extra slider on the side and my girlfriend ordered the Angry fries. Let me tell you. The food was SPOT on. I got to try both bowls as you know I was eating with a plate pirate. Angry mac came with fries that still had crisp and didn't get too soggy from the mac and hot melted cheese. The chicken - though it came in cut pieces - was VERY tender, well seasoned, and flavorful. Perfect size to poke with a fork and dunk into a cup of secret sauce. The angry fries had pickles which was a huge plus for the lady. coleslaw added an enriched flavor to the chicken when you can gather it all in one bite. To put it clearly - this woman who never finishes her food left without any leftovers. Though the bowls really were the star of this feast. The slider was nothing to forget either. As stated before, the chicken was VERY tender!! I chose mild as I'm not a big spice fan. Nonetheless I was very pleased with the flavors that came from the seasoning along with the type of deli pickles they use. I actually stood in line once more to speak to the manager to send love to the back of the house and the cashier as I work in customer service and personally enjoy when someone notices my hard work.
