The Fries were seasoned and tasty. Seems like they use a lot of paprika in the spice blend. Overall everything tasted fine. Just not outstanding. We did not feel the sandwiches were unique in any way. The Spices were ok, nothing special. The chicken by itself did not have much flavor. The Bun is a total let down cheap and airy. A Brioche Bun would work much better. The chicken covers about half the bun. So you tend to eat bun and coleslaw, no chicken for almost half the sandwich. Really? I paid $29+ for a #2 combo, a #4 combo, one drink and one extra tender. I expected spectacular. I got meh. We took our food home to eat. The tenders are big and meaty: that's a plus. They're tender and juicy, yes. The "Country spice" (no spice) is ok. Not much flavor, mostly just an experience of texture in the breading, which held up ok in the travel, didn't really get soggy. The "mild" tender was heavily sprinkled with something that looked and tasted mostly like paprika. Now, I like paprika, so this was ok. But I expected a little more of a distinctive spice blend, something that made Angry Chickz unique and amazing. Oh well. The fries were kind of tough Ore Ida crinkle fries. Not bad, but nothing unique and amazing. They were sprinkled with the same mild spice as our mildly spiced chicken tender. In other words, those with sprinkle tasted somewhat like paprika. Nobody in my group got the coleslaw and I wish we had. I like coleslaw. If this coleslaw were unique and amazing, I would like to know. The pickle slices were large; other than that, they were pretty standard crinkle cut dill pickle chips. The white bread was white bread. One of our group got the buttered rice: it was good, but it was just buttered rice. I have no idea whether Angry Chickz' special sauce is unique and amazing because they didn't tuck any in with our takeout boxes. If we were supposed to get our own at the condiments station, nobody told us. The drinks come in one size only, it's not very big and it's $2. One extra tender is $3.50. Overall, I feel like I paid a lot of money for paprika, white bread and white rice. I can make the same meal, only much tastier, at home for a fraction of the cost.
