Overall, I liked the tenders themselves. . I ordered coleslaw instead of fries, but it was just ok. I was a little disappointed in it really. And the Cane's sauce that everyone raves about was just ok. I'm not a huge fan. I like the Dave's Hot Chicken sauce and tenders much better, though they are two different types of places, I understand. I think the chicken is good here and the slaw was alright, but I personally don't get the funky bread here or the sauce...to each their own. The tenders were half the size of the usual tenders so what's the point of getting a 4 finger combo when you basically get the amount of the 3 finger combo. I called over the phone and asked if it was possible for a partial refund they said no and that I had to come to get a replacement. I drove back over there and they replaced my food and took my old order but I feel I should be compensated for my drive and time. The manager also said that they replaced them but that they were the same size but they weren't because the first order definitely had smaller tenders than what it got replaced with. I've seen people on social media, in other states, post about Raising Cane's so while we were traveling/out of town we saw this one and thought "hey let's try it." First look was overwhelming because their drive thru was super long, but hey that's a good sign right? They were prepared. It had 2 lines and was moving frequently. We found a parking spot, right up front, thank you Food Gods for smiling on our good fortune. There was a bit of a line coming in but it also moved fast. Food was done quickly. We found a spot inside and enjoyed our 6 piece. My husband and I split a 6 piece combo, we ordered an extra drink and toast it came out to 22.12 and was just right for lunch. The food was great. The service was awesome. We had the workers come check in and even clear our table. We will be back. read more

Not what it showed on line at all. I called and the person said I had looked at the wrong website. I looked at RaisingCains.net and she said the right one was .com. 1st visit to Cane's and it was better than I expected. I got the box combo. It was a good amount of food for the price and everything in it was tasty and impressive quality for a fast food restaurant. I wish there were some alternative sides but I get it. They keep it simple which, I think, helps maintain the quality of what they do offer. Kind of like In-and-Out. The place was kept very clean with plenty of friendly employees that were working hard. I'll be back to try that sandwich combo. If the next experience is as good as this one I will upgrade to 5 stars. Fast food places in Visalia are getting so bad, mostly because of the poor employees who lack any work ethic. Cane's is different. Hats off to management and those hard working employees. I stopped in at this new location of Raising Cane's, while out running some errands here in Visalia. I am a huge fan of RCCF, and excited for the opening of this location, as with any first day opening, there was a bit of a wait, but surprisingly not too bad. I have waited much longer at fully established locations in SoCal. The service at this location was excellent. Fast, friendly, clean...what more could you ask for. The dining room was packed to the gills, and I was lucky to find a seat inside. There is plenty of outdoor seating, unfortunately, it was a bit hot with poor air quality today. I ordered my usual 3 Finger Combo, complete with their Crinkle Cut fries and Texas Toast. My order was ready in no time at all. This is a nice location with plenty of parking and drive-thru space. read more

I first reviewed Visalia's Raising Cane's in September 2021. Well, I'm back, two and a half years later, to say nothing has improved. Not sure it got worse, either, but...I'm not sure. The Cliffs Notes: Texas toast: what is the point, exactly? Lemonade: THANK YOU to the employee who waved a lemon over the sugar water twice, this time. I think it might have possibly had a bit more oomph than last time. French fries: Soggy, skinny, Ore Ida restaurant service crinkle fries, this time with absolutely no salt or seasoning on them. Coleslaw: It was ok. Sauce: Alongside that paprika, do I detect...celery salt? And lots of it? Chicken: Not bad. Tender. Crispy. Decently seasoned, if mostly just salt. 8/31/2021 was opening day for the Visalia location. As with all new businesses' opening day, it was extremely busy; however, it was also EXTREMELY organized! Drive-thru line wrapped around the old Sears. Customers lined up outside and a mobile order tent set up outside. I actually parked and placed a mobile order from the parking lot and had my order in 2 minutes! Yes, two minutes! I have been eating at this restaurant in Nevada for about two years now so I am happy that we have a local restaurant. The chicken fingers are juicy and not heavily breaded. I love chicken - grilled or fried. Nuggets, fingers, or sandwiches. Raising Cane's has been a slow burn for me since my my very favorite spot is Chik-Fil-A. To go to CFA in this area requires a 45 min drive at least. So I have decided recently to give Raising Cane's a try. The drive thru moves fast even when there's a line. The menu is a bit limited but I have figured out that a chicken sandwich or a kid's meal is usually perfect. Their sauce is fabulous but they are pretty stingy with it and an extra is 45 cents. I decided to give Cane's a second chance now that they've been here for a year and I just don't get the hype. Chicken fingers should be called chicken toes because they're so small and dry. They also have no flavor and the dipping sauce is way over salted. The fries are like eating cardboard sticks that even the ketchup can't save. The only thing worth eating is the Texas toast and the Diet Coke was refreshing with the good ice. For me there won't be a third chance. Good crispy chicken for a fast food place. The location is new to Visalia (open a couple days) a d honestly it seems to be running really well. It was pretty packed as you would expect. Do yourself a favor and download the app and order ahead. Our order was ready in 5 mins and they have a set up outside to pick up mobile orders. Chicken is really tender and crispy, fries are average though different bc they are crinkle fries, coleslaw is ok, crusty bread is good. But the chicken was worth the $$ spent. The coleslaw is below average. Their famous dipping sauce is tasty but nothing special. Asking for extra sauce, cost extra. For Fast Food, my only discrepancy is the pricing. 3 Chicken Fingers ( rather small ), fries, medium drink and a piece of bread with sales tax is almost $10 dollars. Just got lunch from there. Much like In-N-Out the place is loud and far too crowded to enjoy eating inside. The drive through is similarly backed up which I find odd considering the food. While not bad, for the price point I have to say I expected exceptional. What I got were 4 chicken strips which they call fingers, fries, a Coke and a condiment cup of Cole Slaw. Oh and a piece of "Texas toast". Neither the chicken nor the fries are anything to write home about. They taste okay but the chicken has an odd after taste to it. I found it odd that they use styrofoam packaging and plastic bags. They had a ton of people on staff. All seemed friendly but also seemed like every one of them was a brand new hire. They have a tent outside to pickup online orders though the signage doesn't make it clear that that's the place to pickup online orders making it feel kind of like a popup business. It's a good thing the part of the mall behind them is largely dead. Otherwise, there would be no access to the business. read more

I'm a big fan of chicken strips and fries. When this place opened up, I had to give a it a try but much to my disappointment; the stuff they make is something you can easily make at home. To pay over $9 for 3 finger combo was not worth it due to how greasy and soggy it is. You can literally taste the oil in the food (and much to my dismay; I can tell they been using the same oil for some time) and the fries were not as fresh as I hoped (frozen that's been fried). The food was so greasy that by the time we got home (live 10 minutes away); the boxes started to get wet at the bottom and had to transfer our orders into plates and pat away the extra oil before we started eating. I'm also disappointed that our order isn't crunchy. The fries and strips were waay too soft! The sauce is okay but the aftertaste is a bit sour (at least to me). Husband enjoyed it but just like me; he was disappointed how soft the food is. The place is nice though. The location they pick is ideal as they are easy to spot at the traffic light on Mooney. They have upbeat music playing, there's plenty of space for you to park and chill as you wait for your food, the area is super clean, and the people who work there are nice & helpful (asked what oil they used and they took the time to look into it for me as I have a peanut allergy). Getting our food didn't take long which is nice because we got it hot! There are times the place does get packed so watch out for the time and day you come because the waiting can take about 10-15 minutes (sometimes longer). If plan to eat there at the weekends, be prepared. It gets really full! This place is okay to get your food. If you don't mind the greasiness and wait time, go for it. **For those who are confuse about the peanut allergy, some places only use peanut oil for their cooking. For example, FIVE-GUYS and some Chinese restaurants use peanut oil so it's important that I ask what they use for my safety as their oil is not labeled on their menu/sign.** read more
