I went to Rainbow Drive-In at 9:40 PM only wanting ice cream and experienced some of the worst…read morecustomer service. I was told I could not order food, which was confusing considering they close at 10 PM. If employees want to stop serving that early, maybe update the closing hours to 9:30 instead. The speaker system is outdated and so staticky you can barely hear anything being said. The employee taking orders was rude from the start and acted irritated when I had to ask multiple times what she said because she was mumbling. I ordered a Reese's cyclone and was handed an Oreo cyclone instead. When I politely explained it was the wrong order, I was basically told I would have to take it regardless of it not being what I ordered. When I pushed back, things got unnecessarily escalated instead of being handled with simple customer service. Bringing over two other employees while remaking my cyclone made the situation even more uncomfortable and completely unnecessary. After all the drama and attitude over such a simple mistake, I honestly didn't even feel comfortable eating it and ended up throwing it away because I wasn't sure if it had been tampered with. If you don't like your job, maybe you shouldn't work there, or at least take some customer service training. A little kindness and professionalism go a long way. Save yourself the trouble and drive a few extra miles to Exeter for Frosty King or Burger Express. Much friendlier employees and far better service.

I don't remember which time was which. I just remember really enjoying the burger. they make my favorite kind of burgers. charbroiled, probably(idk), tasty crinklecut fries, fresh veggies. idk, what more is there to say? you order, you get food, you eat it, it's good. the outdoor seating isn't the best but is somehow charming. it's kinda hard to hear the lady taking your order but half the fun is wondering if she got it right (she did). idk yeah I have no complaints. I'll eat here again next time I want a burger in farmersville. give it a go.

Ordering is always fast and easy but by the time I got up to the window I had realized how many calories I had ordered and was kind of sorry that I had chosen a milkshake. I did ask at the window and they were able to switch it to a diet soda so that made me feel a lot because I know the burger and fries were more than enough calorie wise. I got my tried and through number one double double animal style and regular fries. Hadn't been able to have anything here for a couple of years as we don't have one nearby but it was definitely worth the drive. I was so miserably stuffed before I even was done with my burger but they have such a good fresh taste you just can't help yourself. Fries here are either a love or hate thing and I happen to love them so with that in a giant drink with really nice ice I was a happy camper. Only wish there was one close to me so I could visit more often. And for anybody who is not familiar with In-N-Out yes the lines in the drive-through are worth it!

Inside we haven't seen "yet", but definitely plan on coming back after this visit. My first words after taking a bite of everything in my box combo was; "this spot is better". Have a lot of love for the OG location on Mooney, but this spot, it's giving them a run for their money. Service is on par at both locations. Food has been "good" not great the last time I went to the Mooney location, but it is always so dang busy and so far from where I live, never really go as much as I would like to. Jess thought we should try this location tonight and I'm glad she suggested it! We got (2) Box Combos, got our chicken and fries extra crispy, our toast B.O.B or "Buttered on Both Sides" and some Honey Mustard to go along with our Canes Sauce. Everything was fresh, flavorful and delicious! 5 all day to this location and sorry to say but I'm happy they aren't so busy.. yet. Gotta appreciate these moments you can pull up and get some Canes without a line out the drive thru. Will definitely be back sooner than later.
