Food is usually pretty good, wait time are pretty short. They haven't messed up my order yet. The manager Maria is always friendly.

For 1 burrito and 1 taco with tip, came out to around $33. Don't do delivery from here. The Burrito was not very good. The meat was almost like ground beef in texture but also non existent at the same time. I tasted more beans than rice but even then, it was more of a soupy burrito with a tortilla that you had to rip at and hope each bite wouldn't undo the whole burrito. There was some kind of salsa inside it that wasn't apart of the description. It gave it an off flavor. Al Pastor taco was meh. The corn tortillas tasted homemade, which was nice. But the meat was stringy, kind of fatty and an off color almost a light orange. It tasted better than the asada but still wasn't very good. I do appreciate they followed my request for extra salsa, but these packs look like they come from a frozen dinner you get at the store. Absolutely off putting. The flavor was "ok" but nothing special. Overall, not worth it. $33 and I was left with an upset stomach. I had such high hopes! I haven't been in a long time and was hoping it would have been an amazing experience. I was wrong. I gave 3 stars cause I do appreciate them following the special instructions most other restaurants don't. But that still can't justify the food.

El Tapatio doesn't waste time with frills. You walk in, order at the counter, pay first, eat later…read more Respect. The staff is patient, even when you're staring down the menu like it's a test you didn't study for. The place fills fast. By the time I was halfway through my meal, the room was packed, heavy wooden tables, yellow walls, colorful figures scattered around, ranchero music cutting through the chatter. It's the kind of noise that tells you people actually want to be here. I went with the chile relleno. The rice? Basic, nothing to write about. The beans? Solid, especially with cheese melted over the top, the kind of detail that makes you nod mid‑bite. The relleno itself was the star: tender chile stuffed with cheese, soft breading, and a sauce that carried real flavor. Every forkful reminded me why this dish is a staple. Drinks come in to‑go cups, which threw me at first, but it fits the vibe, practical, no nonsense. El Tapatio feels like a place you can drop into for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and know you'll walk out fed, satisfied, and maybe humming along to the music. It's not trying to reinvent Mexican food. It's just serving it straight, and serving it well.

The tacos were amazing. I asked for hotter salsa but even their normal salsa with the chips had a great amount of heat in it. But extremely well blended that it doesn't hit you all at once. The spicer red salsa was phenomenal. I knew it was going to be the heat level I like as soon as she gave me a double take when I asked for hotter stuff I'd highly recommend this place. Plus their tortillas are definitely home made. All around this is the kinda place you wanna get tacos from. The lady taking orders had to have been Ana. She was very nice and brought all my stuff out very quickly.

I…read morehaven't stepped inside since my elementary school days, but waking up wanting something familiar-yet-forgotten led me right back here. Driving past, the building almost waved me down, like it knew I owed it a revisit. Locals know this spot for one thing above all: tamales. Holiday season turns this place into a waiting‑list destination. People tell me they sell out fast, and every year there's a sign posted for tamale orders. If Farmersville has a tamale headquarters, this is it. Walking in hit me with childhood memories. The wooden tables and chairs looked exactly like the ones my grandma used to have, and of course the laminated translucent table covers, a staple in every Hispanic household. It felt like stepping into a time capsule. I ordered huevos rancheros from the breakfast menu. While waiting, they brought out chips and salsa. I always think of chips and salsa as a lunch thing, but honestly, I'll take them any time of day. The chips were average, but the salsa was the star, flavorful with a hint of spice, the kind that makes you keep dipping even when you know you should save room for your meal. The plate itself was alright. The rice and beans were standard, nothing to write home about. The sauce smothering the eggs started off just okay, but it grew on me as I kept eating. By the end, I appreciated it more than I expected. This place has potential, and maybe that's why I felt a little conflicted. They've been around forever, yet sometimes when I drive by, the lot looks empty. Maybe I'm passing through during slow hours, maybe it's just the rhythm of the town. Either way, I hoped for a bit more but I also can't deny the nostalgia and charm that still live here. Ana Maria's is a gem in Farmersville, even if it's a quiet one. The tamales are clearly the main attraction, and I'll definitely be ordering some during the holidays. And honestly, I might come back just for that salsa, it's worth the stop on its own.

HOWEVER around 1 pm today I went into the store to buy my daughter a squishy dumpling. Here at this store the part where you can walk inside and shop, the dumplings are 9.99 mind you everyone knows you can buy dumplings way WAY cheaper than that anywhere else in Tulare County. but since I was already here and thought of supporting this business, I thought OK fine I'll just buy my daughter something from here. Mind you we had already spent like $65 on food for three which is fine. We were also in a party where our other people probably spent $30 each on food like I said which is fine. We came to support a business. We're not even from here, we came from Porterville. OK the lady that helped me inside the store was rude. She was an older lady with pink fake acrylic nails, and she did not greet me when I walked in, she did not hand me my change in my hand when I finished paying which is rude. If you don't like people why work in a place where you cater to people? was it because I'm white and she's Mexican? I EVEN SPOKE SPANISH. She was just NOT friendly. Not welcoming. So we walk out of the door, walk back to the food area not even five minutes her dumpling popped. When my husband went to take it back which was immediately She really argued with him. You can tell the dumplings are old. They've been sitting there on the shelf. She really argued with returning it with switching it out for another one and her attitude alone was just so ugly. I don't understand how people think that treating people rudely will make them come back. Now, like I said, the food was delicious. I would love to leave a five star review, but the experience was so disheartening. You would think that you would want people to come back to your establishment so you would do whatever to be kind and to be understanding, but I felt like we didn't get that from her. be aware of purchasing items from this place. I would like to add a young tall girl dressed in all black was super nice to me the first time I walked into the store to buy fountain drinks.

I am always on the hunt for unique, flavorful food, and Hot City Tacos absolutely delivered! Hands down, one of the BEST battered fish tacos I've ever had! From inventive burgers to unique taco combinations and even enticing fried rice, this place has something for everyone.
