Chicken salad $15.99 -- Not worth it at all.

Only place open on Xmas eve. Give them an extra star for that.. Solid 4/10 for the food. Chicken salad $16 for frozen chicken on top of plain lettuce not worth it at all. Burger and fries-- dry, small, and plain. Food was edible but not something I would consider delicious whatsoever. The staff was friendly yes, but based on the food I won't come here ever again.

This is the second time I've been to Rainbow Drive-In, and both times I've been extremely happy with my experience. This time, I ordered the fried okra and the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. To be honest, it was great. The okra was perfect, crispy, and flavorful. The Philly cheesesteak sandwich was wonderful; it's been a long time since I've ordered a Philly cheesesteak from somewhere and actually enjoyed it this much. The only thing I would do differently is leave the tomatoes off the sandwich. They weren't bad, just not my thing. We used the drive-through, and I was impressed with how clean the building and surrounding area were. The food is bomb, and the service is friendly. Highly recommend!

Bacon Pastrami Burger with fries and okra

Pulling up you question whether or not this is drive through ... wonder how it works. However, the reviews made me demand a pastrami. Inside, it's actually larger than what it seems from the outside. It was very clean and had a decent amount of people either dining or waiting for food (good sign). I told them it was my first visit, and ordered the pastrami sandwich, pastrami bacon burger, fries. They had fried pickles as a special so I added them. The young lady and, what I assumed was the owner were, very nice. The owner personally packed my bag and told me to try the fried Okra with the thousand island dressing ... on the house! It was very sweet of him. The food was delicious. He was right, the okra with thousand island was really good! I LOVED the fried pickles. The pastrami was delicious and the burger outstanding! I think I found my new burger joint! Thanks to the owner! Once I found his name I'll repost.

Too expensive I can get better food anywhere else for a better price. $15.79 is just greed. I'm done buying here and telling my family and friends to stop as well.

This was our first time here and ever hearing it let me say, these burgers are awesome! I was a little confused how everything worked because we never go to drive up. You just walk up to the window to order then they give you a little beeper for when it's ready so you can wait in your car. The person taking the orders was super friendly and helped me carry some things out when I couldn't carry it all. I felt like they were a great price for the size of the burgers and it was enough food to be filling. I had the pastrami burger combo and everything was great! The fries came out hot and weren't soggy like I feel most crinkle cut fries are, and the burger had balanced flavors so nothing was overpowering. We got the kids burger and chicken nuggets and my kids peacefully shared the chicken nuggets because there were plenty there to share between 2 toddlers. The tea was a bit watered down, but probably just needed the bag switched out. Only thing I'd change is just refilling the drink machine.

Great food, fast. Very very expensive for what you get, that's why I can't give 5 stars. But, I can't complain elsewhere.

It was daytime when i showed up n it was kind of lonely. It seems like it would be more of a vibe on like the weekend when they have live music. It was posted that mariachi was on fridays and Sundays. The server was nice and friendly. A bit shy but did well. , I ordered a Mi Chelada n i gotta say I was expecting a better cup. Iv been to other places where they bring out some really nice appealing michis. Although the one they brought out was good it was just very simple in my opinion for 12.50$. I guess I was expecting a shrimp sticking out of it or like a better dressed cup. The Food! I ordered the ceviche tostada n I was very content with my order. It looked fresh, had fresh ingredients seemed very appealing, and had great taste, It needed some salt but I feel better me adding it rather it being over seasoned. I rate it a 5 out of 5. Oh by the way they serve you chips and salsa w a side of smashed beans w out charge like some places. I really liked that. Chips seemed freshly made in the house. I liked that. They look very tasty and she they were very good except her fish taco was cold I can't say much there I don't try her food. My wife did complained that the building was a little on the warmer side. I was a satisfied customer and would like to see opinions from other visitors

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and grabbed seats at the bar. Sam was our server and was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot on. The food absolutely did not disappoint. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Taco Salad, and it was enormous! The tortilla shell was so crispy and well-made that it actually held up for leftovers the next day. The jalapeño ranch had the perfect amount of heat and flavor. We also tried the Drunken Chicken Sandwich. Sam recommended getting it breaded, and I'm glad we listened. The homemade breadcrumb coating was light, crispy, and flavorful without being overly thick or salty. For appetizers, we shared the Fried Pork Belly Bites, which were paired with a delicious coleslaw and a sweet Korean-style BBQ sauce, and the Deviled Eggs, which were AMAZING. They came prepared three different ways, making it fun to try each variation. Honestly, I couldn't pick a favorite. Their beer selection was impressive, and I was especially excited to find Crow & Wolf's Dark Wolf Seltzer on tap, one of my favorites and not something you see everywhere. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of character. Even the ladies' restroom had quirky, fun artwork that added a unique touch to the atmosphere. The size and amount of tv's was impressive. If you're looking for a relaxed vibe, great drinks, exceptional service, and food that delivers, I highly recommend checking this place out. We'll definitely be back.

I ordered the French Dip, which should be a slam dunk for a pub-style spot, but it lacked the basic execution that makes that sandwich great. The Main Event: French Dip * The Bread: This was the biggest disappointment. It wasn't toasted, grilled, or even brushed with a little butter. It felt like an afterthought, leaving the texture of the sandwich completely uninspired. * The Meat: The tri-tip was sliced thin and seemed okay, though it had that "pre-cooked this morning" vibe rather than being fresh off the block. * The Au Jus: A French Dip lives and dies by the dip. Unfortunately, this was essentially bland beef broth--watery and lacking any deep, salty, or beefy complexity. The Silver Lining The meal wasn't a total wash, thanks to the sides. The fries arrived piping hot, crispy, and seasoned well. Paired with a side of their ranch, they were easily the best part of the plate. Final Verdict: If you're going for the atmosphere and a cold beer, it's a win. But if you're craving a high-quality sandwich, you might want to look elsewhere until they step up their bread game.

So having a massive jar of soda already right in front of me? Huge win. Now, moving on to the slightly traumatizing part: they did not bring out bread to the table. Excuse me? I'm sorry, but if I am sitting down for Italian, table bread is not an optional courtesy--it is a fundamental human right. And it became an even bigger issue when my fettuccine arrived, because the portion size was... let's just say aggressively small for a dinner entree. I was expecting a meal, not a decorative sample. However... it was infuriatingly good. They make their own pasta fresh in-house, and the texture was honestly undeniable. My husband ordered the Margherita pizza, and he literally declared--with complete, uncharacteristic enthusiasm--that it was hands-down the best Margherita pizza he has ever gotten. So, massive points there. What was not a massive point, however, was the subterranean seating situation. We were escorted downstairs into the basement, which was pitch black. But more importantly: the stairs are completely unlit. I'm sorry, but they are actively asking to get sued. It is a litigious nightmare waiting to happen. Someone is going to take one wrong step in the dark, tumble down that staircase, and own the entire restaurant by next Tuesday. They are practically begging for a lawsuit. That being said... despite the pitch-black staircase of death and the tragic lack of dinner rolls, overall? I really liked it. The food completely won me over, and I would definitely go back. I will just be bringing a flashlight and my own emergency focaccia next time.
