Today's visit was a huge disappointment. I placed an online order for pick up at 6:30pm. Arrived at 6:28pm, was informed by the guy in the front that they have not worked on my order yet. 10 minute passed by I overheard a girl shouted out to someone in the back if they have dropped fries, the guy responded "no, chicken is more important than fries." The Jollibee in Delano has become one of my favorite stops on the way to Bakersfield. I absolutely love their spicy fried chicken with the adobo rice and gravy. The chicken and rice are so good that I haven't even tried anything else yet because I don't want to risk being disappointed. The service was quick. I had a very brief interaction at the window because I opted to order ahead from the app. Can't say much about the ambience because I went through the drive-through this time. I got a side of the Adobo rice and a soda (free refills). The chicken was good. It was fresh, it was crispy-- but nothing out of the ordinary. Nothing spicy about it though imo also. The Yumburger is a super simple, single patty burger with some sweet-tangy sauce... I appreciate good, simple burgers lol so does my sister. We enjoyed it. The Adobo rice is good, but again, nothing special... to me, it's just rice with soy sauce and a little extra flavoring-- but I like basic rice, so it's good in my book. Gravy is okay, I've never been much of a gravy girl so... not much to say. I didn't eat much of it. Okay, so the winner-winner of this chicken dinner was absolutely the Peach-Mango Pie!! Sooooo freaking good! I crave it randomly every now and then... it's soo tempting to want to drive an hour for some damn pie but it's also a blessing being so far-- dangerous! They make it fresh. I just love this place! You enter inside and are greeted by a host of people...points for making you feel welcome straight away. They won't rush you with your order. And when you're ready, they actually explain to you the various choices you have on the ways you can save on value meals. I just love it when there are actual people around to help you...compared to the robotic-feel of the now McD... The place was very nice and well lit! There's a lot of seating available for you to choose from. And it was clean. The table we chose was spotless. I guess they have staff regularly checking on the status of these tables. The food was great. We had the fried chicken, spaghetti, a pie and a pineapple drink. We wanted to try out more items, but there's only so much a tummy can take in. We'll save it for next time! It brought back so many nostalgic memories from my childhood growing up in the Philippines--the flavors are just as comforting and satisfying as I remember. Heard about this place from one of my Filipino co-workers who swore up and down it was the real deal. So now everytime I head toward LA or find myself down in Delano for work or whatever, I try to swing by. It's about an hour drive from where I live, so not exactly around the corner, but worth the detour. This visit, I had some business in Delano anyway, so it was a good excuse to kill two birds with one stone and get my fix. I always go for the 2pc spicy Chickenjoy meal. That stuff is crispy, juicy, and got a little kick to it that hits just right. Comes with a regular side (I got the mash and gravy, which was solid), and a drink. But the real reason I'm hooked is the peach mango pies. Not even gonna lie--I got more than one. Don't judge me. Those things are fire. Crispy shell, gooey sweet filling. I don't share 'em either. Restaurant was clean and the staff greeted us right away when we walked in the door. Felt welcoming without bein too much. Ordering was quick, and food came out hot. The Jollibee mascot out front is a trip--can't help but take a pic with it. Big goofy smile and red tux... he's like the Filipino Ronald McDonald, but cooler. If you've never had Filipino-style fast food, this is a fun intro. Not your average burger and fry joint, and honestly it's better than most of the big chain places. I love Jollibee's but unfortunately we don't have one here in Fresno so the closest location is in Delano. This is always a stop for us when we are traveling from LA or wherever it is that we are in that direction. We get a bucket for my in laws. My husband absolutely loves their spaghetti and I always get their adobo rice and a bucket of their spicy chicken! Their menu is simple, leg and thighs and sides. Their mango peach pies have become a favorite in our household also! The wait isn't terribly long, but there is one of maybe 10 minutes. Just know that your chicken will always be piping hot and fresh when you get it! Hopefully we get one in Fresno, but I think at this point, it's wishful thinking. read more

Would be better if the noodles were cooked in a generous amount of sauce or if they simply weren't so gelatinous. But since everything else is perfect, I can't knock them down. The spaghetti was perfect! TBH, I tried Jollibee once in SF like 20 yrs ago & it was horrible. I remember the spaghetti in particular as being sickeningly sweet but this is perfectly balanced. A bit sweet, a bit smoky but the spaghetti is actually perfectly al dente. The pineapple drink is perfect too. Tastes fresh & pure & not too sweet. The ube & peach/mango pies are THE BEST of any fast food joint. Ok, I haven't had many fast food pies, but these blow away any I have had. They're super crunchy & the filling tastes fresh & real. Second time, got a 6 pack for future treats! Recommendation, if you're eating on the go or if you're like me & don't like getting dirty, get gloves! No greasy hands afterwards. Being Filipino means I've been to many Jollibee's. This location in Delano was by far the best. It was clean, spacious, and had fast service. Even the restrooms were clean. Jollibee's are notorious for being out of multiple items at any given time. Not the case at this location. The chicken, spaghetti, and burger steak were all good. Spicy, crispy, and umami ! What is there not to love. Jolibee gets a lot of comparisons to KFC however I don't think the seasoning is the same at all! Served with a gravy on the side for dipping. This made my heart so happy Sweet spaghetti, 3/5 I'm either not a fan of sweet spaghetti or I just didn't grow up eating it enough for me to love it. Very flavorful and the side is a good portion Adobo rice 10/5. This was the best side there. Period. I can eat a whole tray of this rice. In one sitting it was that good. Not to be compared to the Chinese fried rice. This had a flavor profile all on its own! Service was nice, I even heard them speaking Tagalog to the older customers which made my heart melt ! Always wanted to try Jollibee. It's been months since I had it, just now reviewing the spot. The chicken was great! Fluffy, light, good texture and flavored, and went well with the gravy -- which is new for me, a new way to dip and eat as I'm not a gravy person. Had to try some of the sandwiches and spaghetti, which were all really good. I couldn't really believe how good the spaghetti was in how different it tasted and how complimentary the chicken and macaroni-&-cheese was with it. Had a great experience going here celebrating Christmas Day with a treat at Jollibee! We were driving down to LA for Christmas and haven't eaten all day. It's been a long while since we've gone to a Jollibee and it was on the way. Upon entering the area, the place was clean, and it was a pretty full place! The cashier who took care of us was nice and patient since we weren't sure what to order. I got the chicken with spaghetti and my partner got Korean bbq burger and Aloha burger. I ate at this restaurant on Friday, which was my first trip to Jollibee. I had the chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, and passionfruit tea. I also tried a bite of the mango peach hand pie. The chicken tenders had crispy breading while still being moist and tender on the inside. The texture and cook was great, but there wasn't a ton of flavor. The mashed potatoes were lumpy, but that's how some people like them. The potatoes and gravy each needed more seasoning though. The passionfruit tea was black tea with passionfruit and it was delicious! Not too sweet and very refreshing. The hand pie was crispy on the outside and had good flavor, it was very sweet though so I don't know if I could have eaten the whole thing. The employees were very friendly. Nice location everything was very clean inside and serviced was fast, had to wait a few minutes to make a fresh batch of their chicken tenders which theyve added as an option to their menus. I had a few modifications to my order than usual and the cashier was gracious in answering my questions and accommodating my requests. I am sometimes in the area and wouldn't hesitate to come back again based on my experience. This location is located in a strip mall and has a drive thru and plenty of parking. There's plenty of seating inside with tables with chairs and moveable stools. For my meal I went with their chicken sandwich & pie meal deal and got their spicy chicken sandwich which comes with a sauce and jalapenos, I got their mash potatoes and gravy as a side and a peach mango pie (gotta get their pie every time). My partner got their new 3 chicken tenders meal and they offer 6 different sauces which is nice and a side of jolly spaghetti. They said the tenders were quite tasty. I arrive 25mins later, giving them a grace period and the food is still not prepared. Half of my order is packed and getting cold. The other half, the employees have seemed to get lost with my order. 20mins later, the order is finally ready, cold and disgusting. Customer service was no help nor care how the consumer was feeling. I've been waiting for Jollibee to come to our area for years and when they placed one in my hometown I was even more excited. Now when I come to visit family I can make a stop here to pick up some chicken joy. This location was super busy when they first opened up, but it has now settled down and isn't too busy anymore. So, if you haven't come to grab food here because of the crazy lines, it's now safe to visit. My husband and kids favorite item is definitely the chicken joy and spaghetti, but my favorite item has to be the mango pie. I was able to finally try the ube pie and it was definitely a 5* pie, but I prefer the mango pie over the ube pie. The palabok was just okay for me and their beef steak is pretty good with rice. Prices are reasonable and food was fresh each time we have visited this location so far. Staff has been really friendly and this location seems pretty clean. Staff was following guidelines during Covid19 and changing out their gloves during each customer and wiping down their station. It did not look like the picture as advertised. There wasn't any jalapeños and the sauce was the original sauce. Sandwich was not too bad. Chicken patty was tender. First off, I understand the popularity of Jollibee, especially in a Filipino town such as Delano. Therefore, since it's opening several weeks ago, it has been extremely busy. I guess my beef is the fact that today is Sunday and they "stopped" answering their phones. There are signs posted outside stating it is closed inside for dine-in and to-go orders. I mean, seriously? The drive-thru line is ridiculous. People who've already gotten their food can't even exit the parking lot because of cars blocking them in this disorganized drive-thru line. If they want return customers, they'd need to think this whole process through. Opening a business during a pandemic is one thing, but not allowing phone-in orders is a recipe for disaster. Now, onto the food. I will say this (which I think is the saving grace to this visit's rating).The fried chicken, gravy, and mashed potato are the best. I honestly think Jollibee has the crispiest chicken, the most flavorful brown gravy, and the butteriest (if that's even a word) mashers!! The palabok was delicious!! Although, I was hoping for a bigger portion for the price I paid. The spaghetti was good, I just wish it had more sauce. However, I had some as leftovers, and it was even better then! It has a unique sweet taste with hot dogs and cheese in it. Their pineapple punch was overhyped; it wasn't that refreshing. The spicy chicken sandwich could use more jalapenos or some sort of spice to stand out more from the competition. Their original fried chicken has only a one-note taste; it was boring. People claim their gravy was bussin when to me it was What EV's. I would say Jolliebee's is okay to good, but not great. If I wanted fried chicken, I would go to Wincos or Popeyes.
