This place has definitely changed from the way I remember it being 20 years ago. Not just the prices, but the portions as well. I was craving a nice greasy drive-in burger with a side of fried mushrooms. The burger was good, just like I remember it being. But the side of mushrooms only came with 7 for a price of $5. Not worth it, in my opinion. I paid $14 for my meal without a drink. Will I come back? Sure, if I want to reminisce about my childhood growing up in Delano without a price tag. I dont like leaving bad reviews but this is the most inconsistent place I've ever got food and probably ranks as the worse food places I've ordered from. Ordered this today for delivery. Spent $40+ on some garbage. Sorry to say but this was truly garbage. Fried mushrooms come with a baby amount for 5.99. Zucchini is $1.20 each im guessing since I only got 5 pieces that are small. Burrito is literally a hard burnt overly cooked tortilla. And the best thing here is the jalapeño poppers because its most likely store bought. The oil used was the same oil they fry everything and it is probably a month old oil. I ordered this right before lunch time today. Milk shake was also horrible, think they used 1 scoop of ice cream and the rest was mostly milk. This place should be ashamed of themselves. Very poor quality food and probably should be closed down. I rank this place a 0/10. Nothing was decent about this place and its the 2nd time I've ordered from her. read more

Not too impressed with this joint. Hamburger patties are very thin, you need to order the triple just to make it a decent size burger. If you're looking for a nice pastrami burger or the chicken to be good, you're going to be disappointed:/ Used to be a really good spot to get a juicy Chicken, but now the dinners are usually over cooked and dried out. They just don't take much pride in their food anymore. Sno-white in McFarland has the same menu but they serve great food. So... idk if you want your mozzarella sticks to be good and not empty on the inside, go to Sno instead. The drive is worth it. Super king is cool for dessert though for sure. read more

Took a late night drive to super king for a snack and was treated very rudely by the staff at the drive-thru window. They weren't very busy, there wasn't anyone in line behind us or in front of us so I'm not sure why their costumer service rep had such a bad attitude. This place is one of our last resorts because every other place where we can get a banana split and chocolate dipped cone is closed. Don't judge. We actually went somewhere else but their line was too long! Food is decent, OUR banana split was good- see what I did there. The place always seems a bit sketch to me though, in a dark corner, doesn't look very clean or kept up, this place has looked the same for over 17 years. Super King is hands down the best damn place to get a burger and perfectly seasoned fries in Delano. I grew up in Delano and would go to Super King throughout my childhood. My favorite dessert is still a Twister w/Reese's and Butterfinger! I've since relocated to Orange County. For those of you who have been, there's a ton of food options down here, but none have come close to Super King. I rarely visit Delano, but whenever I do, Super King is my go-to place. If you want a pretty good drive-in burger, this is one of the places to go. They have a good variety of clog your arteries food that tastes great! If you want to grab a bite to eat Friday through Saturday, be prepared to wait though. Growing up this place was a Chinese Restaurant with drive thru the food was bomb! When they shut down Super King took over and getting food here was the place to go after tasting their delicious ass food. You can go by yourself, with family and especially with friends and have an awesome time here kick back and eat. Back in my days we would come here to hang out. Park under the carport and bump the jams on our systems. Mack on the hunnies hookup and get into hella fights. Most importantly get some grub and mess with the workers haha. The food here is fire, was fire still to this day. The workers are still the same good folk and they take care of their customers. Leaving this review because I've never left one for Super King and I think it's bout time I do. We recently visited and had some grub, taste still the same hella good food brings back memories! Out of all the places to eat in Delano super king has to be my favorite and go to places. Service is great and fast. Great hospitality! Their fries are amazing especially with the seasoning they use. Don't get me started with their burgers and salads! Their salads are better than any other place that sells salads. They always put a good amount of chicken on their salads. I write this with mixed feelings. Let me say first off, the food is great! My 1 star rating comes from a recent experience I had that i just cant get over. I chose to use the drive-thru, which is the most unsafe drive-thru ever. It's dark, creepy and just a few feet away from an ally. When it was my turn at the window i was greeted, actually i wasn't greeted at all by a very young looking girl who seemed to be more interested in the conversation she was having with her coworkers. I paid and waited patiently for my order. I witnessed (2) little boys between the ages of 8 & 10 behind the counter. One of the little boys came running to the window with my order. He tried to hand the bag to the girl who was working the window but she was too busy laughing with her coworkers and told the young boy to give the bag to me. He instead sat the bag down by the window and there it sat for about 90 seconds until he reluctantly handed me the bag. Now, I understand that this is a family owned business and im all for "teaching them early" but come on! 8-10 year old boys aren't the most...........hygenic! I mean, did a 10 year old make my food? Did the 8 year old smear the mayo on my burger? Did they wear gloves? Were they coughing on my food? Did they wash their little boy hands????? These are questions that kept me up that night. Order was fast, the drink was big enough not to ask for a refill, plenty of large sized pieces of bacon in the burger, fries are seasoned perfect, and was given plenty of chili peppers (my favorite with any burger). I am a regular at super king and go almost every morning and almost every morning I see the same cashier a tall young lady attending customers and wow she always has the best facial expressions and smile and is attentive to the customers. I especially notice how sweet she is to a young man who enters daily who has down syndrome she is patient with him and always seems so happy to see him and so does he. If these weren't the best burgers in town I would still go to this restaurant just for the great customer service. GOOD JOB SUPER KING. Every young lady in there is kind and respectful. Super King's been around forever here in Delano, and the food's been consistent throughout the years! There are minor staff changes frequently, but the cooks have nailed it, being a family restaurant and all. If you can survive the wait times and unfortunate location aside, it's a real nice place to get that classic, burger feel of a local restaurant. So let me start by saying there food is great. I really like how they have a family pack for $19.99. Its includes 4 burgers 4 medium fries and 4 huge sodas. There service was fast. The girl that helped me had a serious face but once she helped me she was the nicest of them all. She greeted me very well and actually made a conversation with me, unlike the other workers.
