Let me tell you--it was busy! The drive-thru had a line, and there was also a good crowd inside, which is always a solid sign. The atmosphere was spacious with plenty of seating available. Even though the building has an older feel, everything was very clean and well kept. I ordered a regular combo with fries and a Fruity Pebbles shake. That shake was seriously delicious, but I'd recommend grabbing a drink on the side too. The burger was wrapped nicely, cooked well, and had a tasty sauce. My only suggestion would be to season the patty a little more, as I felt it could use a bit more flavor. The fries were so good I could've eaten another order easily. What really stood out was the service. Every employee we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. Casa Blanca definitely has that great mom-and-pop feel, with a big menu and plenty of options to come back and try. I really enjoyed my burger and will definitely be back again.

The establishment is in East Bakersfield and the neighborhood is a little sketchy but this should not be a deterrent because guess what?! The best food comes from a dive. Yes, everything is primarily fried and fatty but it is delicious. Additionally, it does not feel robot-processed, if you get my drift. There is some ingenuity within the food. Briefly admired the side orders before feeling rushed by the growing crowd behind us, added a slice of lemon vanilla cake, and ordered a drink. The shredded beef on this sandwich was near perfect. Tender, flavorful and juicy, no problem there. The problem is I can't understand with all that goes into the care and quality of producing such a good product as the shredded beef, you're telling me that the bread and/or bun it's served on has absolutely no relevance? Disgraceful. This is a restaurant, not a backyard BBQ. Is it asking too much to show a little care and consideration for the bun? How in the world can you serve a sandwich on a plain, cold, un toasted, un grilled, raw bun?? Charging 14$ for a plain sandwich with mayonnaise on a raw bun is wild.
