Service and food are great, been coming here since I was a kid and never disappoints.

We were doing a workshop at McFarland high school and walked over to Snow White. It was a great time to eat at the restaurant. We had a hamburger avocado burger and an Ortega burger. They were really good. We also had the french fries with a side of ranch along with Two ice cream cones delicious I was surprised that the ice cream cones were so sweet and gentle and delicious and there were only a dollar I just made up for the $.75 I had to pay for the side of ranch the burger while was rather thin did actually have a great taste in the avocado was extra juicy, but definitely come back again read more

Had the best burger and fries from this cute little place and portions are big! I got my order to go from a happy young woman working at the window. They are obviously well loved and the drive thru was 5-6 cars deep. I went and had my lunch at the park across the street. I'm definitely going to make this a stop when making my trips to Southern California. 99 has only two lanes and wonky roads, but the rest areas and places to stop are so much better than on I-5 read more

After years of wanting to visit McFarland since seeing the movie, we finally had the perfect excuse during our road trip, stopping for burgers! This place is a true gem! Hardly any wait, fast service and air conditioned seating inside. The burgers are fresh and charbroiled perfectly, and the crispy crinkle fries hit the spot. Cherry on top was the (huge) drinks are served with crushed ice, my fave! I enjoyed the deluxe cheeseburger, smaller than the 1/4 pounder, but still very filling. My husband had the double deluxe, and my son enjoyed the 1/4 pounder with bacon. If you're traveling along Highway 99, this place is a must-try. Bonus points for a clean unisex restroom. read more

from out of town, just got off the exit to see mcfarland high school in the flesh (one of our fav movies) and saw this place! a good choice bc they aren't greedy on the avocado or the pastrami, the fries were hot and thick, and even the pickles were good (from someone who's not a fan of pickles). the server was very nice too, overall a nice place to grab a hearty meal. read more

We love stopping here when we pass through McFarland. I've had the crispy chicken both times and they give us plenty of fries. My partner has gotten a chicken salad and an ice cream and enjoyed it. Stopped here on our way to Las Vegas and it was a solid lunch the burgers were really good to fries crispy and salty and the beverages were huge. What a great find while getting gas definitely recommend hitting the drive-through if you find yourself near here. read more

Cute little place just off the freeway. Appears to be family owned and run. Typical burgers, chicken options, a few sandwiches, and a bunch of frozen sugary delights. A decent value menu too! I had the jalapeño burger. It didn't disappoint. Patty was the usual 1/4 lber... came with the regular toppings and pickled jalapeños. Fresh and ready. Rippled fries with a house seasoning on them that was a fun twist. My kiddo got the kids cheeseburger and fries which was impressive for a kids meal. Nana got the fish and chips. Nothing fancy but it was cooked right and done quick. I had to try the grilled cheese.... which was good but the cheese wasn't fully melted. (-1*). We walked in and the staff were very attentive. We needed a minute to look at the menu and we had 3 people ask us if we had been helped yet. I'm glad this place is right off the freeway. Easy off.... easy back on. One of my pit stops between Atwater and Los Angeles. Its your average drive in burger joint, sort of like Fosters only with a different name. Terrific banana milkshake (ask to make it with real banana) very light in flavor and their ice cream base is great. They moved a bit slow for a fast food joint and I asked for the mayo on my sandwich to be on the side, but they apparently didn't hear that. *shrug* My suggestion would be to not make your orders too complicated and bring a book in case they're moving slowly. Grilled Chicken sandwich and a fresh banana milkshake made for an excellent Sunday breakfast when driving down the 99. I'll go again. read more

Came here, cuz I sound a lot for more appealing than McDonalds across the street and I didn't regret it. It says fast food but they do take a while through drive thru but it's worth the wait. This place has been here forever, it's almost a historic monument I guess you could say. The food is really good its a privately owned hamburger joint. Hamburgers are bomb. Took a while to get our food, but the cheesesteak was pretty tasty. Plenty of meat, cooked well, onions and peppers were good. Seasoned fries were good too.
