Came here to buy the meta glasses. I went to another store and was told they would have my glasses and they didn't which isn't this stores fault but the other. Nonetheless, when I walk in I say I'm looking for the Larhe Gen 2 wayfarer matte black clear to green gradient. They just point me to the glasses but I tell them I know what I want and want to purchase them. The lady was nice but they didn't have the ones I wanted but she tried selling me a different pair saying "oh you can just buy these ones today and if you don't like them then return them". Neveah was so helpful with all of our questions with a replacement lens we were trying to find. We also saved $240 with the promotion they were running so we were super happy with that. UPDATE: Sunglass Hut fully refunded my return 11/3/22. DO NOT BUY FROM SUNGLASS HUT!! Returned glasses within 30 days on August 7, 2022. Was told would receive a home office check. Today is November 2, 2022 and still have not received $98 refund. Talked to store manager Jocelyn at Tanger location in Glendale Arizona, store number 2874, multiple times, she had her RM, Steve Cooper, call me on October 10, 2022, he let me know he has placed a call to check on the refund. Today is November 2, 2022 and I'm filing a complaint with consumer affairs. They accepted the return glasses back and kept our $98. Please do not buy from this dishonest company. I'm attaching a photo of Sunglass Hut's "Perfect Pair Promise" which they did not uphold. What a fiasco this turned out to be, buying a pair of sunglasses of all things. Normally I wouldn't bother reviewing a place like this, but the experience left a very bad taste in my mouth and I'd prefer to spare others the same nonsense. I went recently to this location to look at some new shades, as my current pair had started pushing past their life span and had taken one too many falls. When it gets to the point that you see blurry patches because of all the nicks and dings, you probably need new sunglasses. I ended up agonizing between a pair of Maui Jim's and a similar style of Revo, both in the $180+ range. After going back and forth for what must have been close to thirty minutes, I finally decided "feck it," and opted to buy both. When I took the samples to the register to let the saleswoman know what I wanted, to my horror, she tells me, "Let me polish these up for you," and begins to start cleaning the display models. That's right, the ones with smudges and germs all over them, worn out frames and hinges and that have been dropped God only knows how many times by idiots trying them on. I stared at her in disbelief for a second but then finally blurted out that I'd like a fresh pair from inventory. She actually seemed annoyed by this, but went ahead and looked. She was only able to find the Maui Jim's, but not the Revo's, and tried to tell me that she could get the display pair as good as new. Given that they were horribly dirty and one of the hinges was so loose it wouldn't stay extended on its own, I told her no thanks, I wasn't interested in purchasing used sunglasses for 100% of retail, and certainly not when retail is $180. Again, she seemed miffed by this, as if I was being unreasonable. Seriously? I'm sorry, but when a customer decides to purchase almost $400 in sunglasses, you shouldn't try to sell them very, very used, worn, dropped and damaged samples. Furthermore, if all they had was the nasty display model, you'd think a reasonable business would offer to give you a discount, especially since I'm spending so much in their store. Nope! Not a chance, the gal just put them back on the shelf and rang up the Maui Jim's without another word. I guess they'd rather sell them to another sucker who doesn't mind buying used but paying full retail. Unreal. I paid for my Maui Jim's and walked out, never to return. The fact that they gave me the wrong sized case that doesn't even fit the sunglasses, and the fact that the gal who polished them up left smears and streaks all over the brand new glasses, didn't help matters. I went in to sunglass hut the other day to exchange a pair of Ray Bans that I got for Christmas and ended up being sold a display model of sunglasses which I now regret taking. When I asked the lady who was helping me to sell me a pair that weren't on the shelf she said "oh it's ok we clean these up for you". I don't know why I didn't think to speak up and now I'm going to go to a different sunglass hut and exchanging them (again). Super annoying that you would sell someone very worn sunglasses at retail price and expect them to be okay with it. I work in retail and I know how people treat display items and let me just say that they don't treat them well. This is so ridiculous and I get more mad about it the more I think about it. Another issue I had with my visit is that the young lady kept hovering over me while I was browsing. I don't know about you but I don't appreciate being watched like a hawk while I'm shopping. Please install cameras and watch them at the desk if you really think I'm going to steal something. It's very rude and it makes me feel like I'm in a hostile environment. Next time that a customer is purchasing VERY expensive sunglasses don't try to pawn off your used displays to them. It's bad business and bad customer service. read more

I have bought several glasses from sunglass hut. I have very sensitive eyes since I've had retinal detachments in both eyes. I recently bought a pair Ray-Ban's they did not filter the sun from the side of the glass. I made the decision to return them I spoke to Trevor explained that I could not use them. He immediately told me that the lenses were damaged although I have only worn them the day I bought them. They are glass lens not plastic would be pretty hard to damage. I said I never wore them they can't be damaged , he told me you just told me you were wearing them. By stating that the sun filtered in was telling him I wore them. So he called me a liar what great customer service I did not argue I asked for everything back told him he needs to learn customer service. I will take this up with their corporate offices. I did not argue because I would have probably started yelling profanities at him for being treated with such disrespect. read more

I purchased a pair of $230 Maui Jim sunglasses in mid july. They were a 'back up" pair of sunglasses as my every day pair of COACH polaroids are used almost daily now for the last 4 years. ( and holding up great, by the way!) I wore the "KOKI BEACH" Maui's for a total of 8-10 times and did not like the feel of the plastic, lightweight materials as they felt cheap and were extremely hard to keep clear and smudge proof. I went into the store, still under the 60 day exchange policy, and was first told that "yes I could exchange them without a problem", until a man ( Greg) approached and said "NO, they cant be exchanged because there is a "scratch" on one of the lenses. After examining the lens, neither my husband or myself could find the supposed 'scratch' on the lens. These are glasses that have been kept in the pouch and case when not in use and cleaned only with the cloth given when purchased! My guess is they were sold with the scratch ( if it even is one) as I said it is not detectable by the average human eye!! This man clearly was going to find any way possible not to help me today and turned my away to deal with "Maui Jims customer service", which is supposed to be the best in the business. We shall see. I am still left with new sunglasses that I am not happy with, that I now have to report as "damaged" and go through the headache of reporting and returning!! I went in to buy my boyfriend some Ray Bans and as I walked in I was warmly greeted with a smile. As I was looking through the different sunglasses Ana was making conversation with me and telling me which pair she liked and which were the best sunglasses. I ended up buying the original ones for him and they had a "Buy one get one $40 off" and offered me this discount. At the register, they had a donation to One Sight. Which after talking about it and donating, it was the same organization that helped me get my free eye exam and glasses when I was younger so that was pretty awesome! Overall, Ana was really nice and so was her coworker I believe was "Danielle" (it says on my receipt as my cashier although Ana helped me) I would definitely be coming back for another pair! So my husband opened a credit card as the incentive was a 20% discount. We purchased 3 pairs of sunglasses but after getting home we noticed they all had issues... as they sell display pairs. Which is crazy when you are buying $400 worth of sunglasses!! We called and asked if we could exchange for unused sets. We were told no problem... come in and we will order new sunglasses to be sent to your home. So that is what we did... BUT now they would no longer honor the 20% because this is the "second" transaction. Ummm no. We are exchanging... not buying new/different pairs!!! Then we couldn't even get the 3 sets bought back because the salesperson already processed the return. So my husband left with zero sunglasses. A silver lining though! We called the Scottsdale location and they were able to assist us. So basically... skip the Arrowhead location. They don't know what they are doing. read more
