I haven't bought new sunglasses in a decade. Yep it's true. Today I decided to make my way over to Tanger Outlets to check out a few of their sunglasses stores. If you've been to Tanger there definitely isn't a shortage. While there are a couple Sunglasses Huts here this location was the best out of them all and their customer service was one of the main reasons. While quite busy and being the only one working Cristian was awesome. He was quick to get to us, friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to clean them, get us cases for what we purchased and thank us for coming in. We love our new glasses and we'll definitely be back in the future. read more

If I could give a negative 1, I would. Let me begin by saying not all Sunglass Huts are the same. The one at Tanger outlet should close its doors for the poorest business model ever! Adeline, the "Manager" attended me. I came to find out that she is only the Assistant Manager, and when asked for the manager she said she was it... when asked for the GM, she stated that the GM stated that "She is not to be bothered after business hours or when she is off".... Complaint: Situation: Bought a pair of Prada glasses and included paying extra for the warranty. And of course, that is something that this store sells...My pair of Prada glasses broke and I wanted to exchange the glasses using the warranty. Everything seemed to be going fine until It was time to get them exchanged using the warranty. Adeline had "technical difficulties"and sent me away for shopping around while they figure it out, which was a waste of time to begin with. I was being really patient and left for about 40 minutes, came back and was told to hold on while Adeline was on the phone. I had my toddler with me and called for someone to come pick her up while I waited(about another 30-minutes... still nothing! I came back and waited even more, then Adeline explained that I could go to Arrowhead to finish the transaction. I explained: That I am already here and waited long enough (with no results). At this point I asked for a manager. Adeline explained that she was it... I was surprised, because her appearance didn't seem to demonstrate that she was a manager at all (she looked like she just rolled out of bed and did not dress like one. She looked unkempt, and her hair was messy. Additionally, She offered no solution. I explained that I needed these glasses because I was attending a funeral in the morning and didn't want anyone see me crying. I felt like crying at this point but only felt anger because of the lack of empathy from this supposed manager, Adeline. She still did not offer a solution or an apology. I was livid, because how could you not just do it manually? I had the receipt... they pulled my information up and I could not possibly make this up! Why is she so mean to customers? Why could she not be proactive and make it work? Answering no, should not be an option when you are pushing sales to "get that warranty" in expensive glasses! I heard them Push it while I was waiting for a long time! Which angered me even more! Is there business model to sell The warranty and not honor it? Oh just go to another store so we don't have to exchange your glasses? This is beyond the lowest standard of customer service. Shame one you and shame on the GM that doesn't want to be bothered! read more

Terrible customer service. I brought my ray bans back because the polarized coating was wearing off. The associate said they were under warranty but they don't cover the coating because it's wear and tear. Not very happy with the result read more

I was in there last week to get my sunglasses cleaned. I should've watched her Bc that's all I asked for. I was browsing other pairs and when I walked up the girl told me they are now clean but can not be tightened Bc the screws are stripped! Well they absolutely were not like that before walking into the store where I originally purchased them Bc sunglass Hut has been the only place cleaning them! So thank you for that lady! I stopped at Store # 2874 and waited outside as the occupancy was restricted to 4 customers for COVID social distancing procedures. Once we had the opportunity to enter the store, I explained to Adilene (Employee number 739652) exactly what I was looking for to include the frame size due to my rather slender face. After trying a couple pairs on, I rather quickly decided on a pair of Ray Ban's and asked Adilene if she had a pair that was new and not a display pair. She looked but found there were no others but the display pair. She mentioned the pair she had just placed on the display. Upon inspection of the sunglasses there were several noticeable marks and smudges on the glasses which was not indicative of a pair being recently placed on the display. Regardless, I stated I would like to purchase them and asked her if the sunglasses could be cleaned and the nose pieces adjusted. Throughout the process I was very cordial with Adilene, however, she was not. Her demeaner appeared to be extremely rushed, often time completely ignoring some of the comments or questions I had for her. In addition, when I asked her to adjust the nose pads, she did not even spend the time to use a tool which I know Sunglass Hut locations have. I could have adjusted them myself. In addition, she was extremely short and appeared bothered I even asked her to adjust them in the first place. After she cleaned them, I was inspecting them to see if there were any scratches I hadn't previously seen since these were on the display rack. She again appeared to stare at me almost in annoyance that I was making sure they were in good shape prior to making the transaction. When I was there, there were 2 employees (Adilene and another employee), myself and my girlfriend, and 2 other patrons in the store which was considered max capacity. With this capacity there was no excuse for her short nature, rude demeaner, and overall genuine displeasure to conduct business with. At the end of the experience, I felt rushed and she made me and my girlfriend feel like she was just rushing us out to allow more customers to enter the store. read more
