It was a bit hectic at around 12pm on a Saturday. Apparently they were prepping for a game at a neighboring stadium (came during Spring training) and the venue was hosting a 5k run/festival. I did like that they had people assisting with parking and letting us know about the rates, since it was a bit confusing. We were trying to go to the Saks Off 5th location since it showed as being open, but neither entrance had functioning doors, so gonna guess they're closed. I just wish they would've listed it online so that we didn't take time out of our day to visit a closed spot. That was a bit confusing and frustrating. Otherwise, it wasn't super busy or packed. It seemed as if a lot of stores had sales and while there were people shopping, it wasn't unbearable with huge lines. They do have quite a few stores to choose from and plenty of signage to assist with store locations, but they do have a few vacant spots. I usually like to visit the Lululemon store and it never disappoints. They have a decent amount of stores to choose from with competitive pricing, so if you find any stores listed that are of interest, I recommend checking this out. read more

Not too many people were shopping around 11am. It was nice to be able to walk around without being overwhelmed by a big crowd. I was hoping to find a Theory or an All Saints clothing store but, Tanger doesn't have those high-end shops. I did shop at Calvin Klein and Birkenstock. read more

While my wife and I spend more time at the Outlets North Phoenix (previously known as the Anthem Outlets) than other outlets in town, we recently spent some time at the much larger Tanger Outlets in Glendale, and we were impressed with what we saw. It had been some time since my wife visited there, and I haven't been there before. There are plenty of stores along with food options, too. There are some name brand stores and some stores not tied to name brands. There are deals regularly, especially around times like Black Friday and before and after any holiday. There are more than 90 stores at the Tanger Outlets Phoenix in Glendale. My wife used to visit for the Ann Taylor outlet store, but that has closed since her last visit. During our visit we stopped by Under Armour, Express Factory Outlet, and Rally House. We also reminisced on what an Orange Julius is and attempted to visit Saks OFF 5th, which had just closed, and even the Tanger Outlets team didn't know that they did. The Tanger Outlets also have six restaurants, of which five are among the outlet stores while one is a stand-alone restaurant (Texas Roadhouse). The other five restaurants are Dairy Queen (and Orange Julius), Fired Pie, Great American Cookies, Subway, and Wetzel's Pretzels. There are other restaurants across the street at Westgate and nearby if more sit-down restaurants are desired. There are plenty of sales, discounts, and deals. We have been to this area a few different times and they do have lots of different shops. You could walk around some areas where you could grab a snack such as ice cream, pretzels, and more and they are surrounded by additional restaurants where you could walk over to the Westgate area and or other restaurants to your liking as further down the street. Depending on events going on, it can be a little hectic due to the parking but overall is a nice place where you could browse shop and eat. read more

Beware of the parking rules. My daughter was visiting from out of town and received a parking ticket. She tired to explain the situation she was unaware of the parking rules. Sent an email with her receipts to Tanger manager, which we never receive and answer from when he said to send copies of the store receipts.He said, he would review and we thought he would get back with us. Nope! The ticket is 80.00 plus. I live in Glendale and I was unaware of the parking rules myself. So just be careful! read more

These outlets are located off Loop 101 and Glendale near Cardinals State Farm stadium. It is far out West from Phoenix but when at the stadium or Spring Training games, it is worth taking a look. There usually are decent deals at Lululemon and other stores. Sometimes there are ridiculously good deals like at Pacsun where they had buy 1 get 3 free two different times. We almost always find a great deal on something we are looking for. I had never seen a vending machine that sells eye lashes but they have one outside the bathrooms on the East side (see photos). $10 - $15. read more

This is an outdoor mall that specializes in clothing shops. What's nice is that there are a bunch of sections where it is shaded. I even see huge outdoor ceiling fans but none of them were on at the time of me visiting. The place is very clean with lots of nice places to sit. Some of the places to sit even have ceiling fans which I've never seen before in an outdoor mall before. The whole ambiance was neat and clean. There's lots of parking and even some shaded parking too. The food selection is paltry but I was pleasantly surprised at the neat food trucks scattered about. read more

If I could give this store and location 0 stars I would. Never have I ever been mistreated in my life. The manager Rosa was rude, unprofessional and arrogant. Someone should retrain her, including part of her staff members. Granted there a few bad apples everywhere, so not going to negate or downplay the company brand. However, she treated me as if I would be an individual of interest perhaps as she normally does when she needs to stereotype a person who she may perceive as a thief of some sort, and boy was she barking up the wrong tree. I have an extensive solid history as a customer with Polo RL, and do not appreciate these heinous practices, let alone to be talked to in such demeanor manner. I hope my feedback does have action taken behind it, to help strengthen your company brand and potentially good core customer values. The stores are nice, but the parking lot is an absolute nightmare. Who ever places those cones should think about their actions. It makes no sense whatever to block lanes on one end with cones when there are no parking spots and no way to turn around. This is very dangerous and unnecessary. Yesterday I was walking from my parked car and witnessed a lady in a vehicle panicking that she was stuck. She screamed for help and I moved one of the cones making it possible for her to escape rather than having to back-up 50 yards in a dangerous manner. This resulted in a parking attended yelling at me for touching the cone for about 4 minutes. Not going back any time soon. read more

Amazing outlet mall with a huge selection of stores catering to various budgets and preferences. In addition to the great shopping, I appreciated that all of the walkways were shaded. There were also ample places to sit, many vending machines with water, and even large fans. Things like this are clearly necessary with the extreme temperatures in Phoenix. 2 stars One of the more disappointing outlets I've been to recently. For starters, it's really small and the selection of stores is meager. I think I remembered seeing an Old Navy, Coach, Kate Spade, Banana Republic, and Wetzel Pretzel. Nothing really stood out and screamed "buy me" or "eat here"! This outlet is definitely surrounded by other restaurants and entertainment, so I think it kinda slacks off a bit. I will say though, their solar panels are impressive to me! The Mall itself is fine, a bit crowded but that's basically everything in AZ now. What I'm grossed out by is the cleanliness. I went to the restrooms, and saw a cleaning lady clean the toilet then proceeded to clean the sink, mirror, counter, and drying machine with the SAME RAG. I find this super gross and I told her about it and she basically ignored me. read more

Stopped by for some shopping after taking my niece to play at Dave & Buster's. Love how big this outlet mall is and all the selections of stores they have. Lots of options compared to the outlet malls closer to home where we live. Love the "outdoor" feeling but it was way too hot to enjoy our shopping. It was over 100 degrees so we couldn't even make it through the whole outlet mall to see all the shops. Customer service lacked at every store we stopped at. Nike, Carter's, Skechers, Old Navy, Rue 21, Aeropostale. Maybe the employees were not happy or friendlt because it was hot outside? We weren't acknowledged or greeted at any of the shops we stopped in. read more

I really enjoy the Tanger Outlets. Some of my favorite stores. Nike, Ralph Lauren, White House Black Market, Carter's, Guess, Coach, Kate Spade, Under Armour, Fossil, American Eagle, Charlotte Russe, Gymboree, Vuori, and Express are my go-tos here. Bathrooms located throughout which is great when toting kids around. They have a security area. Right now they are remodeling all the landscape and sitting areas. I have been there a few times in the past two weeks and things are moving quickly! Spring is such a great time here in Arizona to enjoy the outdoor malls and Tanger has such a good selection of stores to shop from. read more

My husband purchased a purse for me for Christmas. When I pulled it out of the bag I noticed dark smudges on the purse but I figured I could clean that up. I took the tags off and used it a couple time. I decided the bag was too bulky and wanted to return it. On Jan. 22, we went back to the store and was told that they would not return it because of the smudges and because the tags were removed. Oh gasp. The tags were removed! I had the receipt for both the purse and wallet that were purchased. But because the tags were removed they couldn't take it back. Ridiculous! I filed a complaint that was supposed to be escalated to the store manager who was supposed to get back to me within 4 weeks. Well it's the middle of March and nothing. My experience was a nightmare. Went on a day that was paid parking. All signs say two hours of free parking if you're shopping, but when you go to the app they refer you to in order to pay for parking it says you only get 90 minutes. Begrudgingly paid for parking bought a bunch of stuff at Lululemon, and then left when the 90 minutes was up. We were hungry so we drove to the nearby Texas Roadhouse. It was a Saturday so it was a long wait for a table, but ate and then left. Two weeks later I got a notice from the contract parking lot managers for the mall that I have an $80 ticket! Are you kidding me? So I spent a couple hundred dollars at the mall, another good amount for parking, and then I get the privilege of having to pay another $80??? What a scam. I will NEVER go to this mall again. I recommend that if you show up on a day that has paid parking just leave and shop elsewhere. read more

I love this outlet!! This outlet has so many stores! I love the Lululemon and Vuori store! There's not many that have those stores and so I loved going inside! They also have two wetzel pretzel stores and other brand name stores. The parking lot is huge and it's so close to Westgate!! read more

Many of the stores one expects to find at an outlet mall. Some stores one doesn't always find. Check with the customer service area to purchase a coupon book for various stores in the mall. While not controlled by the outlet mall itself, I was surprised to see several stores with clearance items under $10. Only a few food choices. Westgate Shopping District is located across the street. Many restaurants are located within. It was really hot walking around in the summer. Misters were set up along many of the larger stores, though the wind seemed to be blowing the moisture up. Winter is much more pleasant. Not only because it is cooler, but fire places are even sometimes burning, in colder months. Parking is outside. Special parking for Tanger members. We stopped by o shop around for some clothes and to also just walk off our lunch. There were a lot of cars here but parking wasn't that hard to find. This was pretty much one of those outdoor malls with a lot of stores around. The Tanger Outlets looked clean from what we saw and not a bad place to go shopping. There were a lot of people here shopping and this place had bathrooms which was always a plus. I stopped here because I was in phoenix and had some time to kill. I decided I would check out the Lululemon outlet. This outlet mall must be struggling badly - I stopped by on a Sunday, and it just happened to be a football game day. I'm not from Arizona; I don't care about Arizona football, or quite frankly, any football team at all. When I pulled in to go shopping, I was told that I had to pay $15 to park since it was a football day- even though I was going to shop at the outlet. There was no way around it. They don't validate parking or anything, What you get in return, is coupon for 5% off the poorest performing stores that you have no reason to go to anyway. This outlet mall is in a sad state. I can think of 10 million better ways that I could have spent that $15. Very disappointed in my visit here. Waste of time and money. read more

Worst mall experience ever. The mall shops are great, the selection is amazing, but the parking lot is a mess. Mall management is making money off of guests and other business where they rent out half of the mall parking lot to other organizations. Currently on weekends you have one quarter of the mall parking is designated for a massive bouncy castle where another company starts setting up Friday, making parking a mess. Then the other quarter of the parking is occupied week round by white minivans. Then you got their new EV parking spots that were just set up about 6 months ago, taking up a good 10% of the remaining half of the parking lot. So when its the weekend, and the weather is nice, the mall shoppers, sidewalk vendors, employees of the stored at the mall are all SOL because Tanger is busy counting money made from tenants (who by the way are not getting any shoppers), Bouncy castle people, White minivan people and sidewalk vendors (whom again are not getting any shoppers due to parking) and EV panel advertisers, while shoppers struggle finding parking and then leaving as they get tired of driving around. Oh and a couple years ago, my friend's catalytic convertor got stolen from her car, and security there said to just file a police report, and where the car was, there were no cameras so police could not do anything or identify who possibly could have stolen it. read more

I recommend shopping literally at any other mall in the Phoenix area. The variety of retailers in the mall is not the problem. The mall is very clean is kept up very well and the management staff is awesome. However the problem lies with parking for shoppers, and also mall employees The parking lot is only open to guests that are shopping in the mall roughly half the year? Otherwise tanger always has some sort of event going where you are either completely unable to use their parking lot without paying a parking fee or you are fighting to find a parking spot because fluid trucks and vans take up a good chunk of the parking lot. And God forbid that there is an event at State Farm Stadium. It is a mystery to me why they did not build a parking garage or structure to accommodate the fluctuation of shoppers in the area. read more

It's amazing how lazy our business society has become especially when discussing the horrid process of parking at Tanger Outlet. So, let me get this straight. Online it states parking is free at Tanger Outlet. However, once you enter the Tanger parking lot there are signs that states "Paid Parking Required on Event Days". After speaking to the management of Tanger, they informed me that if an event start at 7pm and a customer enters the Tanger Outlet parking area at noon and leave a 2pm that person will be charged a parking fee of $80 dollars which too me is outrageous. If I am a customer, and I am there to shop, spend my hard earned money, and spend money to charge my EV car, long before the even, why in the hell would I be required to scan a QR-code just to enter my personal information in a system I do not wish o be part of? Now my personal information is listed in some database that can of course be breached. So, you can enter the parking lot the day of an event, ride around the parking lot and somehow get into a long conversation with another shopper, you will be charged a parking fee for a parking space that you never used. The company is lazy and the cameras take photos of people's cars coming in and then leaving without even confirming if that car used a parking space or not. These new procedures in Arizona with parking are pathetic as this is the same trashy mess that has been taking place in California for decades and now, Arizona is following the money trail. Why do we as a society allow these companies to pop up and take advantage of customers? Like the Tanger Outlet manger stated, this is taking place all over the country so Arizona is adopting such a scheme to make massive fees off shoppers who are there to simply shop and have no desire to go to an event across the street. That is even worse. So, the event is across the street, not at Tanger Outlet however, customers are being FORCED to pay for something they are not indulging in. So, outlet parking is no longer free parking? This is exactly why customers should ban together and STOP shopping at places like that as if shoppers did that, the Outlets would start losing millions and I guarantee, the Outlet will change the way they do business. I will do my part and Tanger Outlet will not receive another dime of my hard earned money! read more
