It's amazing how lazy our business society has become especially when discussing the horrid process of parking at Tanger Outlet. So, let me get this straight. Online it states parking is free at Tanger Outlet. However, once you enter the Tanger parking lot there are signs that states "Paid Parking Required on Event Days". After speaking to the management of Tanger, they informed me that if an event start at 7pm and a customer enters the Tanger Outlet parking area at noon and leave a 2pm that person will be charged a parking fee of $80 dollars which too me is outrageous. If I am a customer, and I am there to shop, spend my hard earned money, and spend money to charge my EV car, long before the even, why in the hell would I be required to scan a QR-code just to enter my personal information in a system I do not wish o be part of? Now my personal information is listed in some database that can of course be breached. So, you can enter the parking lot the day of an event, ride around the parking lot and somehow get into a long conversation with another shopper, you will be charged a parking fee for a parking space that you never used. The company is lazy and the cameras take photos of people's cars coming in and then leaving without even confirming if that car used a parking space or not. These new procedures in Arizona with parking are pathetic as this is the same trashy mess that has been taking place in California for decades and now, Arizona is following the money trail. Why do we as a society allow these companies to pop up and take advantage of customers? Like the Tanger Outlet manger stated, this is taking place all over the country so Arizona is adopting such a scheme to make massive fees off shoppers who are there to simply shop and have no desire to go to an event across the street. That is even worse. So, the event is across the street, not at Tanger Outlet however, customers are being FORCED to pay for something they are not indulging in. So, outlet parking is no longer free parking? This is exactly why customers should ban together and STOP shopping at places like that as if shoppers did that, the Outlets would start losing millions and I guarantee, the Outlet will change the way they do business. I will do my part and Tanger Outlet will not receive another dime of my hard earned money! read more

Not only is the food delicious the customer service is on point. The sweet lady that took our order was so friendly and nice (you don't get that now a days)I would come back just to talk to her. Lol. The bagels are outstanding and the donuts/croissants are fresh and tasty. My husband got an egg sandwich which he loved and my son got the bagel and lox. All of ours food was great. This is an outlet shopping center, how ridiculous that you CANNOT shop on a cardinal nfl home game day... they require you to pay $40 to park. Because of the Coronavirus, only about 5 or 6 shop was open. Just to get out for some sun, I knew not all the shop would be open but didn't realize only 5 or 6 shop would be open. I did a few round just to be walking and the outlet has a good selection of shop in there. I basically window shopping. Since I can't review any shopping, I did took some pictures of the outlet. I normally love this mall. I have spent so much money over the years shopping here since they opened. Well today we wanted to go to the mall to return something and do a little shopping. Well we had no idea there was a game on. I guess the mall now charges for parking on game days! WTH! I was trying to go shopping not go to the football game. The parking attendant said it's $15 for parking and if you shop at a store on a list (only certain stores) you can get $10 in credit. So I'd have to pay $5 for parking anyways. This is 100% BS! I don't want to pay for normally free parking to go spend more money shopping. So warning to people, be aware when a game is on and don't try to shop on that day. I really like this outlet! Not all stores have prices that are much different from the non-outlet stores but I always have good luck at Levis and Charlotte Ruse. I love the variety of options here and that it's very clean and usually not super packed. read more

Went mid week, mid day and parking was much better than weekend trips previously. On some weekends parking can be pretty scarce and hectic. Mall is kept up nice with plenty of bathrooms and stores. Though I checked all my favorite stores didn't find anything too enticing as most of the inventory right now is winter gear (which in Arizona isn't too useful). Will have to try back next season for something more desert appropriate. Got a good walk in, but that was about it. read more

I've enjoyed shopping at the Tanger Outlets in Glendale since they built this attractive complex. I've also visited other Tanger locations in Arizona and know first hand how they are consistent and offer great stores which provide great deals. Sometimes, you have to be patient in Glendale. There never seems to be enough parking. Even when the holiday season has passed, Tanger's Outlets draw a crowd. Which brings me to the purpose for this review. While visiting one of my favorite stores (Haggar Clothing) this weekend, I discovered something in the parking lot which I haven't seen before. See the photo with this review. They are charging $20 to park when a game is going on at the stadium. If you just want to shop you will have to pay. This outlet is not part of the stadium. I drove 45min to shop and eat, and enjoy my day and didn't even get to shop because of this terrible inconvenience. Update to response: After leaving my first review I read the same exact response from Tanger on another persons review. In the future it may be something to revisit. Possibly have time limits and zoning (1 to 2 Hr min) on parking (ticket for anyone past that time), I'm sure no one wants to rush from the stadium to move their car between that time, instead of charging everyone between these and save your vouchers. This isn't helpful and doesn't change the experience. But the current information on checking the website may help someone else who decides to visit before waisting time and gas. read more

First time to Tanger's Outlet and it met expectations and more. Layout was very good and lots of signs and directories every few sections was super helpful. This outlet has Banana Republic, Gap, Brooks Brothers, Saks of 5th, Nike Factory and more. Pricing was great and for anyone that looking for deals this place can't be beat. What a fun place to visit on a recent trip to Phoenix! So much adventure packed into a generous space that it's impossible to get bored! On a recent visit we checked out people in costume going to the nearby Comic Con, ate lunch at Whiskey Rose, got some snacks at IT'SUGAR, pedicures at the West gate Nail Salon & Spa, watched people, meandered, enjoyed live outdoor entertainment and checked out what was playing at the nearby local movie theater. We had a great time. I've seen this concept in Charlotte and Denver and think it's a wonderful addition to Phoenix. Amazing! read more

The parking areas are very unorganized. They even have cars parked where the drive was. There is no security and no one to prevent congestion and commuter issues. I used to live in the neighborhood for 5 years and recently moved in 2020 near Metro Center. I will NOT come back here to shop due to the issues with the parking lot and the lack of security in these times when it's needed desperately. Also, should anyone I know suggest going here I would strongly suggest against it. read more

Granted there were good deals to be had, parking was plenty, the grounds were manicured and clean I just didn't see the value in the trip from Chandler to Glendale to be worth it. Nice shopping experience I have spent many hours at Tanger Outlets. Tanger offers many great shopping options. There's Nike, Under Armour, Puma, Sacks 5th, Banana Republic, Ralph Lauren, and so many more. You have to search in order to find the good "discount deals", but the deals are there for the taking, if you have the time to look. The only drawback is you will need to go to Westgate to eat, because there aren'r any restaurants at Tanger, unless you want pizza. read more

Went to Claire's today to get my granddaughter's ears pierced for the first time. Angela was tremendously AWESOME! She took the time to explain the process and was very calm and understanding her fears for this process. She offered to have another team member to help and do both ears at one time.. SUCCESS!!! We live close by and come here pretty often. I love the fact that we can shop for the whole family here! There are plenty of stores and places to grab something to eat after a long day of shopping. There are big fans that keep the air circulating as you're walking around shopping in the Arizona sun. I am not sure if there are misters but the last few times we have been there they have not been on. That would be a recommendation that I would have as we all know shopping in the 110 degree summer is probably not the best idea for some but others that don't mind the heat it would give a nice cool off. I like that the Tanger outlets are right next to west gate and the Cardinals stadium as you can pretty much find anything you need or want in this little area. When it's cooler the family and I just enjoy coming here even to just walk around. Can't wait to see new stores pop up and see what other goodies I can buy! read more

I purchased some shirts there yesterday for my son and was told by the manager (#00550493) that he wears a large and my son is about the same size and that they wouldn't shrink alot. After washing them they did shrink at least 1 size smaller. Went back to exchange them for a bigger size and was told that they won't take them back by another manager Loyoita because they were washed. We told her we would wait for the original manager and come back. She said don't talk down to me and said she wouldn't take them back. No one was talking down to her and not sure where that came from. Needless to say they won't be getting our business in the future and apparently customer service does not exist here. read more

Tanger Outlets is always great, very clean, and has quite a few great stores. Parking can be a nightmare on the weekends especially since it's so close to west gate and the new restaurants in the parking lot. Be prepared to be in the sun if going in the summer. It has quite a few benches and soda machines to get drinks. The Nike store always has great sales. Definitely a great place for some shopping if you have some time. read more

I get it! You're supposed to get buzzed at Westgate, then come here and feel like every store is a good idea. Genius! This is a less cool version of the outlets in Anthem. Did you know Tanger is an outlet chain? Like, the deals you're finding are totally orchestrated nationwide? In normal outlets, businesses sell directly to consumers, which is where the groovy deals come from. In Tanger, you're dealing with a big, corporate middleman. No wonder it's lame. Not saying you won't find something you like...it's just less likely here than the real deal. read more

A family visit on a Monday..... a great day to shop here as it wasn't busy at all. A great selection of stores for some great bargains. Ralph Lauren store was particularly good. A great range of clothing at heavily discounted prices. Kate Spade was also a good place to get some bargains. Plenty of restrooms and places to get refreshments. Just horrible. Pros: It's new. Nice curb appeal. It's new. Cons: Parking during an event will make you regret the experience. Once you get in, you see it's a cheap knockoff of a real outlet mall. Shops are small. Shops sell cheap versions of what is in their real stores. Interiors of some stores area cheap looking. No kids areas to entertain younglings. Minimal food and snack options, which would be okay since you're in the Westgate area, except... Poor walking access to the main Westgate area. We'll see if I'm wrong, but I can't see this place lasting a year and a half. It's that bad. Worth the trip to hit Anthem or even a real mall. read more

I recently heard about the opening of Tanger Outlets, and wanted to go check it out. Being that it's the holiday season, I figured the sooner I checked this place out, the better off I would be in knowing what their stores are like and trying to avoid the huge crowds. Tanger has tons of great shops that have moved in here, and I was really impressed with the selection. Polo, Coach, White House Black Market, and a ton of other shops, the selection is impressive. Parking is ample, and there's a great variety of things to do here. My only complaint about the place is there's no food area here. Nothing. Not even a starbucks! I think I saw a Wendzel's pretzels, no food options! I was starving when I was done walking around here, and figured that there had to be something to eat or drink while I was here. Not a thing! There was a hot dog cart and a chicken truck, but no food! I ended up going across the street to Westgate to eat instead, but hopefully they get a food place or two in here like a starbucks or something. Aside from that, this place is pretty cool, and I will probably be back in the future. read more

This store is in an outlet location so there are some super duper savings. The sales reps are non pressure individuals who are very helpful. This outlet mall has stores for everyone in the family. The Nike store didn't have to select. The Lululemon,adidas, and Under Armor had really good deals. Don't forget to ask for your military discount. Most of the stores will give you 10 -30% off of your bill. This Outlet is dope! I love any Outlet with a Puma store and this trip surprised me because they also have a Fila store. As I was looking at the store directory a woman approached and said here are some coupons. She's was much appreciated because the coupons helped me save additional money. I found some cute items in the Puma store but I cleaned house in the Fila store. I have a feeling this Outlet will become a part of my routine when I'm in town. I went to Tanger mall yesterday around 6:00 pm went to Charlotte Russe my 13 years old daughter favorite store. There was a young man who did not provide his name to us was very rude and his customer service was very poor. My daughter like a purse blue color but when we ask that man to give us that purse he said no we don't sell out that purse since it's in display I told him I have all other colors that u can replace on display he said no I can't. I said u finally one day will sell it why not for us since she likes it that much he just refused. We return all other stuff that we likes to buy since he acted with discrimination cuz we are middle eastern's. I really feel bad and left the store. read more

I really enjoy Tanger and its stores. The grounds are well kept and nicely maintained. It would be nice though if they would turn the misters on more often during hot times. A decent outlet mall, with a mix of household items, clothing, accessories, shoes, beauty products, and toys. The price range here is for the most part inexpensive (H&M, Charlotte Russe) to moderate range (Banana Republic, JCrew). The most high-end retailers you'll probably find here are the Michael Kors outlet and Brooks Brothers. We browsed a bit through some of the clothing, shoe, and kitchen stores, and found that the outlet prices were slightly cheaper than original price, but not cheap enough to want us to buy the items outright. I did end up buying a cute tote from the Coach Factory, which was an additional 30% off, although it seems like they always have an additional % off their items whenever I walk into a Coach outlet store. Food options are very limited here! There's a pretzel place if you want a snack, a Chinese fast-food place, and a Subway. As for the atmosphere, it's nice that there is a huge canopy covering the walkways of this open-air outlet mall. In the summer, this will really help! P.S. If you have an AAA or AARP membership, show your card at shopping services and they will give you a free coupon book. read more

The kids play area is a hot summer's day away from being a lawsuit from a parent. There's no misting system to help cool off patrons. There isn't a food court, though I can see why the developer didn't bother with one with Tanger being smack dab in the city limits. Making the drive to Anthem vs going to Tanger at Westgate - If I had nothing else to do or errands to run, I'd probably still make the 60 mile round trip drive up to Anthem. Anthem outlets have pretty much the same stores that we like to hit up (Kitchen Collection, Carters, Gymboree, Coach). read more

These outlets have a decent mix of stores from Coach to Children's Place to Gap. It is all located outside, so you'll want to keep that in mind prior to heading here. There is a decent sized food court and a few restaurants on-site if you get hungry while shopping. Or you can travel a bit off site and there are even more restaurants to choose from if nothing at the outlets strikes your fancy. Overall: B A very decent outlet mall in the Phoenix area. read more
