Very far from chandler. Wifey wants to go husband has to take her. It was very crowded. We went on Saturday. The stores have good discounts and they have good collection as well. There are enough parking spots but it got little tricky to find one. There is continuous in and out of people. If shopping is a therapy this is your place to go read more

Tillys Outlet Great Place to refresh your t shirt collection on the cheap for those hot AZ days. They have a huge selection of 2 for $30 t shirts, and the brands are good brands. Last time I stopped, I picked up two Fox t-shirts, that would have been considerably more at other places. They also consistently have other name brands like RVCA, Matix, Hurley, etc. Also, if you order something online, you can return it to the store directly. I have also found a decent selection of Nixon watches. I also found lots of short selection in various styles. Of course, there are many a things this forty something saw that were not age appropriate for me, but you can still get your Southern California groove on, and if you give them your address, they will mail you 20% off coupons. read more

I really enjoy Tanger and its stores. The grounds are well kept and nicely maintained. It would be nice though if they would turn the misters on more often during hot times. I absolutely love the EV charging stations. They are complimentary and are generally always available. This is a nice perk and draw for shopping at Tanger. read more

Tanger Outlets Phoenix - Outlet Stores Near Me - Glendale, Arizona

I love a good outlet mall, although some of the stores here weren't "outlets" but still had good deals! I scored major deals coming here, all the designer purse stores like Kate spade, Michael Kors, and coach were like 50/60% off plus an additional 20% off..like what?! I would of bought the whole store if I could. There is also a lululemon outlet, Nike outlet, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi's..etc! I promise you will not leave empty handed here! read more

Beautiful Mall.. loved the Christmas Tree and lights. I felt very welcome. The stores all had great discounts. I've been here before and it was nice last year too. Shopped at Nike, Fila, Adidas, etc... some discounts were almost 70% off!!! All the Soccer Mommies loved it there. A shop for all our different personalities. If ever in Arizona, go check them out. read more

I know, I know, I am so late to the game. Where have I been? I live in Glendale. Ha! Finally went to go shopping here. Needed some new Sketchers. What a great mall to find tons of shops. Just a thought, not all of them are outlets though. However, the place has enough discount stores to satisfy your brand shopper needs and urges. A bigger plus is that it is a nice clean environment that is close to lots of entertainment and food options at Westgate. The area is pretty lovely to walk around. Lucky Brand and Jockey were my favorite stores. Sketchers seems more costly than their other independent locations. The staff at Jockey and lucky Brand were so incredibly nice to me that I would go back for only that reason. Happy Shopping Marathons! read more

This outlet mall has stores for everyone in the family. The Nike store didn't have to select. The Lululemon, adidas, and Under Armor had really good deals. Don't forget to ask for your military discount. Most of the stores will give you 10 -30% off of your bill. You will also find some good vendors from food and candy stations to self defense vendor selling electric tasers. read more

Can't believe they are charging 20 bucks to park for the outlets. The parking lot was dead because it's the stupidest concept. Way to kill outlet business on a Sunday. I've lived super close to the outlets for many years and I never had this experience before, after reading reviews (the other negative reviews) it seems I was just lucky. There is a ton of parking at the stadium, why would you decide to charge people that were just planning on shopping and possibly eating in the area because of some stupid game? If people are willing to walk that far let them save their money? The whole idea of paid parking is convenience from a consumers perspective. They also closed tons of lanes and created awful traffic bottlenecks everywhere. What a total nightmare this area is. I'll just go to anthem outlets from now on and frequent the stores on bell. Terrible business decision and it's nuts to see they've been doing this for years. How do the revenue numbers make sense for the businesses? Pay to shop at an outlet mall? You must not understand your demographic very well. read more

I went to Tanger mall yesterday around 6:00 pm went to Charlotte Russe my 13 years old daughter favorite store. There was a young man who did not provide his name to us was very rude and his customer service was very poor. My daughter like a purse blue color but when we ask that man to give us that purse he said no we don't sell out that purse since it's in display I told him I have all other colors that u can replace on display he said no I can't. I said u finally one day will sell it why not for us since she likes it that much he just refused. We return all other stuff that we likes to buy since he acted with discrimination cuz we are middle eastern's. I really feel bad and left the store. read more

Went to the opening weekend, loving all the stores that we now have access to in the West Valley there's such a great selection. The outlet was wide open and I like that design. I don't think all the stores pricing reflect outlet pricing but it's still nice to have the selection of store to choose from. I do however wish there were more eatery options. For so many stores you'd think there would be more eating options there. read more

As an outlet, this place is great and has a verity of storefronts on location. I do enjoy the outdoor setting which is reminiscent of outlets of Anthem. From Underarmor to hot topic there is a lot to be explore. I highly value this outlet for it's location and desired shops and give it a 5 out of 5. But even with all these great shops there are some that really cater to certain crowd. I used to enjoy going into a shop called Pop'n Anime, forget what is used to be called before they moved. I would go there to find pop's and figures for gifts for friends and family. But recently the store representative Daniel really seems to be in a foul mood and rude. Because of this I rather drive out further and go to better locations where the store representative's are always more professional to their long standing customers. But as part of this review I could not recommend this place, it is possible I'd return after a better staffing decision is made. read more

I had to buy a birthday gift for my girlfriend which is this week and today was my only open day to go because of work and school, but thanks to poor parking planning I had to pay to park due to the Cardinals game. To add insult to injury I get a 10 dollar off a 20 dollar purchase, this helps Tanger but not me, I'm not going to the game why am I paying for the mall's/cities poor planning. I don't even get my full amount back, at least have a ticket validation for this nonsense. If Tanger doesn't want game people to park there then enforce no game parking like all the others store around that have their signs up and people monitoring. read more

very nice place to shop(: lots of shops with the type of clothes i love. Just make sure you bring a warm jacket if it's cold out lol

My daughter wanted to go school shopping so her and I drove almost 30 miles to come and shop we were excited for a day of shopping. We arrived on Saturday, July 24 in the afternoon to find long lines To get in and then attendant who asked me to pay $20 to park. I explained that I was not going to the local soccer tournament but I just wanted to shop at the mall and she again said that's $20. I of course would not pay $20 to park to go shop at the outlet mall so I drove across the street parked closer to the Renaissance and walked over. I do not plan on giving this mall any of my business again anytime soon I can't believe that you would not set aside at least one of your lots for customers who just wanted to come in and shop. Not only that but when I went to your website to look up how to get there and where you were located and nothing on there said you charge for parking fee of $20. I think if you are going to do that you need to be transparent with your customers and have a warning on your website. This was a very very disappointing experience. read more

One perk of living in the West Side is being close enough to shop at Tanger Outlets. This is particularly useful when catching Black Friday and After Christmas Sales. We enjoy shopping at Rue 21 and Hot Topic. We browse around the other shops. We then skip over to Westgate to grab some grab or catch a flick at AMC. Tip: If you are military, you can go to the Tanger Office and get a free coupon booklet. read more

Always nice to shop and get great deals. Out door shopping is nice in phx. Lots of stores to pick and some good quick food options.

We drove 30 minutes to shop at the stores, only to find that Tanger would rather provide $15 parking to the Cardinals game then allow actual customers to park. I refuse to pay to shop. Tanger should be ashamed of the way they are losing loyal customers. read more

Nice place to buy items. Outlets all over- but, whoever designed the parking lot is dumbest person ever. Just try going here on a holiday or when they run a sale- it takes you 30-45 minutes just to get in the parking. Why? It's not because they lack space for parking. It's because there's only few ways to GET in the parking lot. Same goes to going out the parking lot. This place makes me more stay at home and do online shopping. The mall nearby is better place to shop. What a waste of time. P.S it can be fix. The place is huge and there's alot of way to improve the traffic. But I doubt they'll do it. People will continue to go here no matter what, but just the fact that this place makes you waste 2 hours just for the parking, makes this a "NO GO" zone for me. read more

I was happy to know that another outlet opened in the valley, and it's a lot closer to home. There are the typical stores you find at a Tanger Outlets, Coach, Nine West, Nike, H&M, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and so forth. There are no restaurants at this outlet just snack food and vending machines. At least a coffee shop, please! 10.2% sales tax, ouch! read more

This is for the Hanes store in the Tanger Outlets: Came in here with my friend yesterday and customer service was abysmal. The one girl who was folding things didn't say "hi" even though we were the only two people in the store. We had to go to her to ask if there was a size of something and she went and looked without giving us a smile or any sort of friendly service. We ended up trying a few things on, but still nobody asked us if we needed help (by this time Christina, who I am assuming was the manager, had come back from her lunch break and didn't acknowledge us either). My friend purchased a few things and while the clerk was checking us out (she didn't ask us if we found everything okay or anything else) Christina stood behind her and GLARED at my friend and me. I don't mean she was staring out into space, but GLARING into us. After checking out nobody told us to have a good day, nobody said "thanks for shopping with us". Instead, we just got the stare down from Christina. We were the only two people in the store, can't you give us a smile and ask us how our day was, or whether or not we needed help finding something??? This was by far the worst shopping experience I've ever had, and I called corporate because of it. Unfortunately the call center woman was not friendly either, and didn't apologize for our terrible experience. She simply said she'd forward my comments to management. Well I sure hope there's a difference manager apart from Christina, because I know she won't care whether or not she gave us good service. read more

Tanger Outlets immediately reminded me of Fashion Island in Orange County (minus the ocean views, of course). It is modern, clean, and has a nice selection of popular stores. The one big difference would be the price-point. I don't know if it is due to the grand opening or not, but there are 50%+ off sales to the left and right. Yes, the prices are probably inflated a bit before applying the discount, but there are still some really good finds. I scored some Banana Republic jeans for only $35 each and some of their graphic t-shirts for only $7. So, the sales are creating a sort of Black Friday effect. People are rushing left and right to find deals. The parking scenario is horrible as the entrances aren't adequate for the amount of cars coming in. The traffic control personnel are incompetent with directing traffic and belligerently yell at people in their cars as if we are in freaking NYC or something. It's possible that Hurricane Sandy forced them to leave their jobs as New York cabbies to come here for work, which would further account for their unwarranted hostility toward reasonable human beings. Tanger is going to continue to pull the southwest Phoenix crowd in as well as draw many of the people who traditionally go to the Arrowhead vicinity. It may also have a positive effect on Westgate as a whole as its strategic placement will allow Cardinals and Coyotes fans to pass through on their way to or from a game. In all, I recommend checking it out and I will probably be a regular. 8/31/13 update: The parking situation has now been resolved and the traffic has died down significantly. read more

DO NOT GO SHOPPING HERE ON GAME DAY!! YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING EVEN IF YOU'RE JUST TRYING TO SHOP! Yesterday I came to make an exchange for some Levi's I had purchased the day before. I asked if It was necessary to pay even if I was coming to make an exchange? The first guy I spoke to worked with WePride (I think that was the name, this is the contract company used to collect the money in order to park). He told me I could park in the loading and unloading area but I had to make it quick. As soon as I got out of my vehicle a woman approached me and said that I couldn't park there and I would be towed. She said she was the general manager of the outlet. I then asked her what were my options if I was just coming to make an exchange with a merchant in the mall? She said that kick off would be over in 10 minutes and then I should be able to park where ever for free. I hopped back in the long traffic line and it took 15 mins to reach the ticket girl. She informed me that they would be collecting parking fees until 3 pm and they could not let me through unless I paid. I thought it was ridiculous being that I JUST spoke with the general manager but I paid the $10, because I had already spend 30 mins in traffic and I still needed to make the exchange! In conclusion, I went to the management office after I made my exchange thinking the general manager would be happy to assist me further. WRONG. After waiting another 15 mins in the line to speak with someone, the associate informed me that they couldn't give me my $10 and that the ticket girl should have given me a coupon (that some of the stores in the mall don't even honor) that would allow me to get $10 off if I spent $20. I wasn't given one of those at all nor did I want that because I WASNT THERE TO SPEND MORE MONEY. The general manager then sees me and I proceed to explain to her that I still had to pay in order to park. SHE THEN TRYS TO TELL ME THAT I DID NOT HAVE TO PAY BECAUSE SHE MADE THE CALL TO STOP TAKING MONEY! I politely explained to her I wouldn't not be wasting my time if I didn't. SHE THEN ASKED FOR PROOF OF PAYMENT! Lol I told her I left my ticket on my dash but I would be happy to go get it to give to her. She then tells me she can't do anything for me. I then asked for corporates number because it doesn't make sense for me to have to pay for parking for an event I'm not even attending! She then replied that she was the general manager and calling corporate meant nothing because they are already aware of the situation. At no point did the general manager, GABRIELLE OCHOA, provide good customer service. At no point did she mention that she understood my point or offer any remedies at all. She only added frustration to the situation. Now a pair of jeans that I got on sale costed more just because I came to Tanger on a game day at the "wrong" time. I know other BETTER OPERATED malls allow parking validation or something similar. This upsets me because I was a fan of tanger ever since I visited the location in Louisiana. Now, especially after having to deal with Ms. Ochoa, I will be taking my money to a REAL mall where I don't have to pay to shop there. I also wonder if that girl pocketed my cash? Lol read more

Bright n clean new Tanger outlet shops right off 101 at Glendale Ave beside Glendale arena. Some great name outlets: Ralph Lauren, C. Klein, Hilfiger, Guess, Levis, Lucky Brand, as well as plentiful (excess?) number of shoe stores, a book outlet, Gymboree child's clothing, a couple of toy stores, Tools Direct, Creusset, Kitchen Collection, Oakley Vault & Sunglass Hut, Gap, Banana Republic, Jockey underwear, Gold Toe socks, athletic apparel aplenty (Puma, Nike, Under Armor), not to mention (though I'm now mentioning) Helzberg Diamonds. Designer outlet clothiers seemed mostly aimed at younger crowd from teens to maybe . . . 30's? But note there is also a Talbot's, a Lane Bryant, and a Brooks Bros. "factory store" as well. The makeup aficionado will appreciate the Bare Mineral and Elizabeth Arden outlets. Other outlets range from Aeropostale to H&M to Samsonite to Vitamin World, Dining options within the shopping area are limited to Subway, China Max, and Wetzel Pretzel, but there's a Big Fat Greek Restaurant and much more on the periphery and in the Arena entertainment district. It was clean and pleasant shopping and (outdoor) walking experience in today's moderate weather, though I could envision it as miserable in summer heat as it's not an indoor mall. And while it's not particularly geographically convenient to me personally, it's easily accessible off the 101. There's nothing negative in the modest 3-star rating I give the shops as a whole, just nothing that particularly makes me particularly likely to go back unless there's some specific need that can't be met more conveniently close by, though finding the one item I was looking for and dealing with the friendly ladies at Kitchen Collection was a pleasure. If designer labels excite you, it may be worth a look-see and return visits as well, but note that "outlet" doesn't necessarily mean "discount". I didn't get to all the shops, so there might have been some that caused this post middle-aged guy more enthusiasm, and note that there's huge Cabella's Outdoor Outfitter's store diagonally across the street which may be suitable for dropping off husbands, etc., for daycare while you shop. www.tangeroutlet.com/glendale/directory for a full listing of shops. read more

The one thing I like about this Tanger Outlets (outdoor mall) is that there is now an H&M in the West Valley! Parking is very full in the front (closer to Glendale Ave), however there seems to be more ample parking towards the south side of the mall. A good diverse selection of chain clothing places, but no where to grab a coffee drink or a quick bite after walking around, except Wetzels Pretzels, which had a long line. I hear that a Subway is coming soon! I bet an indie coffee place would do well here. I guess they want shoppers to go over across the parking lot to Westgate to eat? Today, some promo ended and you'd think they would have a sufficient amount of employees staffed in the Customer Service Office to handle the crowd redeeming their coupon (the day before Thanksgiving). Sadly, there was ONLY one gal trying to handle all the incoming calls and line of irate shoppers. The Customer Service Manager (some blonde lady) came out to make a condescending announcement (EXCUSES) to the folks in line, instead of offering a solution to get shoppers on their way or helping the one staff member. Pretty sad. I'll probably stop back again to check out the stores. I'm impressed with how quickly they built this mall and just in time for holiday shopping. As I walked back to my car, I wondered what it will be like to shop here in the middle of the summer months when temperatures reach 112+ degrees. read more

I was really surprised that they placed Tanger Outlets right next to Westgate. Usually outlet malls are kind of isolated which helps to prevent heavy traffic. We ended up parking across the street in Westgate and walked over to avoid the traffic mess that was going on in the parking lot. There were way too many people here which is why I prefer the Outlets of Anthem. Whenever I go to the one in Anthem, there's hardly anyone there and no long lines. Also, there are no food courts at Tanger. I guess they want you to go across the street to Westgate? That's kind of a hassle though if you're thirsty or just want a quick snack while you're shopping. The plus here is that they have Michael Kors, otherwise Anthem has all of the stores that I want. Since they're both about the same distance from me, I'll stick to Anthem and shop in peace. Also, the deals are exactly the same at both locations because they depend on the stores not the mall. read more

Kudos to Glendale for landing these outlets! So nice that I don't have to drive all the way to Anthem. I love that this location offers a JCrew, Banana Republic, Lucky Brand, and H&M stores! I also like that it's outdoor (perfect for Arizona). Couple of downsides I want to forewarn folks about: 1. Parking is poorly planned. Getting in and out of the outlets is a MESS! I will have to make a few more trips in order to give you all helpful tips to manage that parking fiasco - sorry. 2. The Customer Service Center offers a coupon booklet for $10. I noticed that most coupons in the book are 10-20% off required spend of $100-$250 (in one store). I'm usually not buying that kind of quantity in multiple stores, so I didn't get the value out of the coupon book. 3. No place to eat. When we visited (as of Nov. 26th) - I only saw a Wetzels Pretzels - with a line looping down 10 stores. There are plenty of vending machine's but no place to grab a quick bite to eat. (I guess if you are willing to walk 1/4 mile over to Westgate - you'll be ok -- but sometimes I need a quick energy boost :) In short, I'm glad to welcome these outlets to the West side of town :) read more

If I could give no stars I would. Mandatory $10 parking on game days is the ultimate insult and rip off. And the attendants taking the money are rude and surly. You'll feel like you are dealing with the mafia, which isn't far from the truth. I feel bad for the retail stores stuck in their contracts with this hell-hole. Do yourself a favor and drive up to Anthem or wait until the Premium Outlets in Chandler open in a few short months. I was worried Tanger Outlets in Glendale would put the Anthem Outlet out of business. I'm not worried anymore. Probably the biggest business fail in Phoenix for 2012. read more

Absolute worst customer service experience I've ever had. Do not trust a salespersons word. Do not waste your time shopping here. It's better to pay a few extra $ and go to Nordstrom or Macy's. At least there you have sales people who care & want you to have a great experience. This store does not honor their word or their own coupons. read more

Been to this mall a couple times after Thanksgiving for some Christmas shopping. The layout is fairly geometric, nothing special. There is a gas firelplace area near the center, but usually very crowed. I do not believe most stores in the "Outlet" malls really deliver the consumer any great savings. For example, bought a Star Wars toy for my Grandson at the Toys R Us for $13.99, the next day, I found it in Target for $11.99 and in the actual big box TRU for $12.99. Took the one I bought back to the Outlet TRU. However, the Puma store seems to have very nice sale prices, was very satisifed there. The Fossil store prices were exactly the same as what you find on the Fossil website. Basically, know your prices before shopping in an Outlet mall. The only advantage I see for this mall is that it is just another mall providing additional retail stores nearby. read more

I love outlet malls, I have gone to the malls located in Vegas, I have been to the ones in Casa Grande (when there was actually 2 and they didn't suck or weren't closed), I have to say I haven't been to the one in Anthem yet, but this one is just....meh. I signed up online to be a "Preferred Club" member and get coupons every time I go (Mind you, it costs money to do this 10.00)...don't do it, its a trap! The coupons are ridiculous, you have to spend an extreme amount of money to get discounts at any store. I have four kids, I don't go spend 500.00 at a time at these places. The layout is nice, the parking sucks, there aren't a lot of food options, and its outdoor so summer time is going to SUCK. I will make the drive to this place if I am looking for something specific I know I can get here, past that? I have places a lot closer than this to get anything I need and or want. read more

I love going to these outlets everytime I visit Arizona. As a petite Californian Asian girl, you can imagine my excitement finding sizes xs, s, and shoe sizes in 7 in abundance. I have meager choices in Cali, but here I am a shopaholic queen strolling by Express, Banana Republic, J. Crew, Abercrombie & Fitch (no shame), H&M, Calvin Klein, and Saks Fifth outlets. I found several shirts at Abercrombie (no logo) for less than $10, and several quality tops at Banana Republic/Express ranging in the $20s. They almost always offer additional percentages off regular and clearance items. Every top, dress, and heels, are at my fingertips and the only victim here is my wallet! read more

Things have really gotten better around here. They've added Fired Pie, which I feel attracts more people this way and adds somewhere to eat. They've added more stores. It's a great place to walk around. People are right, even though they are called outlets, there are no real deals around here. I've just stopped thinking of them as outlets and think of them as stores in a regular mall and now it's just another place to shop that's closer to home. The only thing that I wish they had thought out better is the parking situation. It's not so much trouble with the parking spaces, but issues with traffic when you are leaving. There are not enough exits and it creates more traffic. read more

I love the Tanger Outlets! I can find anything I would find in a shopping mall for less money. The outlets are very clean and well kept, even the restrooms are impressive. Sometimes I walk around the outlets at night, just to exercise and relieve stress. It really is a beautiful place to shop. read more
