I came here during the week to make an exchange for an item that I purchased @ another shopping outlet for the particular store Saks off Fifth! When I come to the outlets we always prefer to come during the week because it tends to be less busy which makes shopping a lot more pleasurable. When I come to the outlet we always prefer to start off shopping in Saks off Fifth, not only for the amazing parking that's available but also for the store itself being that it's a fave of mine! These outlets will occasionally hold a particular event that's in the parking lot such as bouncy houses & such that you can find on their website. The weekends here are extremely busy & parking can be horrendous so unless you're that person who does love to shop with crowds then I'd definitely suggest on shopping here during off peak hours! During the holidays they also do offer Santa visits but definitely book far in advance! read more

My family and I have been to this location several times it's slowly improving. I wish the set up was just like the location in Tempe marketplace because they have so many shops entertainment all in one area and or just down the street. If you would like to do shopping, you will go go conveniently across the street to Tanger outlets. Overall, they do have a lot of entertainment, such as different restaurants, a movie theater, which could use some updates in my opinion, golfing ice cream, and a variety of other restaurants to choose from. Traffic in the area can be hectic, depending on if they have any events going on in the area, but overall, it's a nice area to visit read more

Horrid. Parking issues near the Thirsty Lion. I parked in a close lot, spoke to an attendant about parking there, he moved a barricade for easier access and said I could get closer to the restaurant since that was the reason I was there that day and not attending any events. I agreed. Weeks later, in my mail comes an invoice and pics of my car and license plate. I owe! I saw no signs, ticketing machines or anything relative to parking other than the attendant that helped me. My visit to greet out of town friends has been tarnished now weeks later with this ticket which I have disputed with the Westgate Entertainment District once but with no success. I remain unaware of how to park in that area and in future will simply avoid driving there. What did I miss ? read more

Went to three restaurants first two waited 30 min sitting at bar no service. Third poor service. The whole center is run down, no one working to repair. Supposedly had paid parking. For what? The whole experience has turned into a dive. Couldn't even find a person in the parking lot to pay for the parking. Will be writing this off for future visits. What is going on wiht $25 parking fee, even if you just want to have a drink or food at a restaurant or to shop at the mall? Who is going to come out anymore? Why would anyone go to an outlet mall to pay $ 25 for parking? If they have anytype of event and you end up wanting to go there, even if you have nothing to do with that event, you will not be allowed to park anywhere. I'm not coming back anytime soon.. If it's not too hot you can sit out and watch the water show, there is shopping, salons, comedy shows, and of course dining. The nightlife is quite popular here as well. Also , if you are into brunch with music and mimosas there are several options. At night I felt safe with the amount of police I noticed circulating the area. If you're in Phoenix, AZ and going to the Tanger outlets check out this area since it's within walking distance. As far as what I saw, it looks like there are a bunch of restaurants in one area. We did come on a weekday during the afternoon so maybe it's more lively on other days. I don't recommend going out of your way to come here, but if you're hungry, you've got time to kill, and it's not too hot to walk from the Tanger outlets... check out this place if you're hungry! read more

For the most part, I love Westgate what I don't like is that they will have an event and not tell you that parking is increased, which is fine it's expected however when there's not an event, the signage is not the best so I've ended up getting multiple tickets aside from that I love a lot of the venues and different places I like the options of Food and fun. It's always a vibe and great for families. After Morgan Wallen at State Farm Stadium, we headed to Westgate to try to get food and water. Lines for each restaurant were Ridiculously long The district should make sure all the restaurants are open and ready to take as many patrons as possible. We ended up walking to raising Cane's and waiting a couple hours for our Uber. 50,000+ people at Morgan Wallen concert. There should be spots selling water too. Get it together! read more

We were actually at the Desert Diamond Stadium for a Rattlers Football game. We had a blast. We all tried the chicken tenders with French fries which was your average stadium food. Overall, we had a good time and ended up on the fam cam which my kids got a kick out of. Oh and my oldest accidentally left her phone after the game and the staff was kind enough to let us back in to go find and get it at the end. Excellent service. FIRE!! THIS PLACE IS FIRE!! You literally don't have to leave this area for anything. It's a 3 minute walk from State Farm Stadium (Home of the Arizona Cardinals). They have tons of bars, restaurants, a movie theater, Dave and Buster's, axe throwing, dessert shops, etc. There's several open areas for individuals, families and kids to gather around including water fountains for show as well as water fountains to run through. Literally. Beautiful grounds upkeep, palm trees, turf, etc. There's a Tanger Outlet Center directly across the street w all the great stores. What more could you ask for?? We visited this place twice!! We're definitely looking forward to returning back to this awesome Entertainment Complex. read more

This place is better than 3 stars! & that's coming from a California gal. My fiancé lived in Arizona & says this place had a rough start, but now it's super lively and so much to do! There was a big Christmas tree right when we walked in & a ice skating rink (I'm writing this on December 1, 2021). There are several restaurants including; hot n juicy crawfish, yard house, Buffalo Wild Wings and more. A must try/go-to spot is crumbl cookies! We were only there for a few minutes & had a drink from Fat Tuesday. The coyotes hockey stadium and Arizona cardinals statefarm arena is located in the same area. This caused issues for us. I haven't been to the west side of town as much so It was exciting to visit Westgate. It is a nice shopping area with restaurants and a few shops plus events venue. I thought it was just ok as during the time I went many things were closed and some under construction. It's worth checking out maybe when there's sports events going on, probably more exciting. Went to catch a movie. Parked in a mostly empty parking lot. Just got a parking ticket in the mail. Never going back to Westgate again.

This place has a lot of potential, but falls way short of what it could be. We had tickets to an event at Desert Diamond Arena, so we showed up early for lunch. Tried Yard House first, it was busy and there were a ton of tables on the patio that needed to be bussed. We were a little short on time, so passed on being put on the waitlist. Stood by the host stand at Bar Louie for 5 minutes with no sign of a server before leaving. That restaurant was fairly empty, maybe we weren't the only ones that left. Ended up at State 48 (which I will review separately) for a mediocore lunch. Desert Diamond Arena was ok - clean, but could definitely use a refresh, but the sound system was terrible. Love the idea of an Entertainment District, but this one needs work. read more

Had a great time, but $30 charge to park was ridiculous and it was even more ridiculous to get out of the parking lot after the event. It took an hour and a half to even get out of the parking lot. On a Saturday at 2pm the district was moderately busy. Various bars and restaurants to chose from. As for activities, there is Dave and Buster's, AMC and a brewery with bowling. Not much in the way of shopping. Only a handful of shops. They give one something to look at, other than a phone, while waiting for a move/table to be ready. Large fountain near the restaurants is an enjoyable touch. On a cooler day, it makes for a nice place to sit and wait. The large pavilion plays host to monthly events. Make sure to check their website for event information. Parking is interesting. We parked in a lot relatively close to where we were going to eat. When we came out about 1.5 hours later, all the gates that had been open were now locked, with the exception of one. No warning. Being so close to Cardinals stadium, parking rules change on game days. Make sure to plan accordingly. read more

My family had a tragedy happen at this place and not one person from Westgate bothered to reach out to us. In addition to that, my daughter tried to make something terrible into something loving, a beautiful rock garden in memory of my son. Not only did they make her take it down immediately, they banned her from the property for a year. (not that we will EVER go back until they get there security fixed and camera's operating, if ever!) This is a beautiful property and a place for ALL ages. Bars and clubs, many great restaurants, treats, fun family places for kids, a huge movie theater, pottery painting and a splash pad by live music. I love places that bring the community together. All ages! The set up is really cool and the evening lights give off a cozy ambiounce. The only thing that we didn't care about are the people with really cool cars circling the center road of the entertainment district in front of the theater reving up their engines so loud over and over all night. Now I literally live next to the fast and furious family and love them and it would sound lonely not hearing them rev an engine here and there. This was ridiculous. No one could even hear the band. Again I love a sexy loud car, but this was just silly and really ruins things. It would be nice if they had the no cruising Metro Center rule or no repetitive obnoxious car noise rule. Right where the kids play at the splash pad. Maybe it was just a bad night. Oh and people vaping weed everywhere! Maybe go early if you are bringing the whole family. read more

In spite of the reviews, I personally love it because you can't beat $10 parking that can be turned in to $10 credit at a restaurant. The parking lot is HUGE which is awesome! I'm more used to LA Live which has very limited parking and less shopping available. There's SO many options to eat and drink before a game! Pub, Greek, Gastropub, cigars, healthy, donuts, coldstone, pop bar, etc. I'm not sure if the movie theater gets less business when there is a Coyotes game or vice versa. Check Groupon prior to going! it's crowded here at west gate.. come time for hockey or sports entertainment. the place is packed. You have to pay $15 for parking but if u eat at their restaurant establishments they take $15 off your check as a credit. It used to be 10 years ago very different but change has to happen.. yet this place is still booming and growing as the hotspot on this side of the valley. We came to eat at yard house. Be sure on a weekend to prepare to come early especially before 6 because the crowds come out. It is a Friday and everyone is here especially for seeing the hockey game that's about to take place at the arena. It's like their is no covid here.. with the live bands and entertainment with kids playing at the splash pad and people dancing in the lawn with bubbles. The life here doesn't stop. People are hanging out with or without masks having a blast. This place continues to develop and grow through the years, with a packed house of business shops throughout the west gate area. They have the Harkins Movie Theater and the Sports entertainment arena. They have a boba tea shop, cookie store, barber shop, crawfish restaurant, many bars and social spots like Kabuki, Dave and Busters , yard house, and Bdubs. At night it's pretty because they decorate the whole place was lights. They have a little water park for kids and always live music entertainment. This place is also nice to play Pokémon Go haha. It's right next to the Tanger Outlets and the Cardinals Stadium so they have the option to shop, eat, or if you want I watch a concert. They have some restaurants upstairs and downstairs. Located literally in front of the Gila River Arena is this entertainment district. Its an area with lots of shops, restaurants, and even a movie theater. Across from the parking lot is the Tangers outlet mall, hotels and just a 1/4 mile away is the football stadium where the Cardinals play. We were staying next door at the Renaissance hotel, and came here on a Saturday night when the Ducks were playing the Coyotes. Before the game, there's festivities for the kids. After the game, the bars and restaurants were packed full of people, not just fans, eating dinner and enjoying a Saturday night. They have pretty much any type of food to think of: - BBQ - Japanese - Cajun seafood - Steaks - Burgers - to junk food, froyo, coffee, and dessert. Plenty of parking and the places are open late.
