**An Unacceptable Experience - Ethnic Stereotyping and Disappointing Store Leadership** I am extremely disappointed by my experience at this Coach Outlet on October 29, 2026. What should have been a simple handbag pickup turned into an experience that left me feeling stereotyped, disrespected, and unwelcomed. While browsing the store, I approached a male employee and politely asked him IN ENGLISH whether he was busy. Rather than responding to my question, he looked at me and called out to another employee, "Hey Brian, over here Spanish," while gesturing for him to assist me. Let that sink in. I approached an employee speaking English, yet he apparently made an assumption about my language preference based on my appearance. I am Latino, born in the United States, and fluent in both English and Spanish. But none of that should matter. No customer should have to explain their ethnicity, nationality, or language abilities simply to receive respectful service. When I confronted the employee about his assumption, he attempted to apologize. However, the situation became even more disappointing when we sought assistance from the store manager. Rather than demonstrating genuine concern or making a meaningful effort to address what had occurred, the manager's response felt dismissive and deflective. We specifically requested that the incident be escalated to regional leadership, yet we left without confidence that our concerns were being taken seriously. We were so disappointed that we ultimately requested a return of the handbag we had come to pick up. I have since filed a formal complaint with Coach Outlet Customer Care and requested that the matter be escalated appropriately. **This is not about needing assistance in English versus Spanish. It is about being judged by an assumption rather than being treated as an individual.** Coach is a recognizable brand, and with that comes an expectation of professionalism, inclusivity, and accountability. I really enjoy this store. Always clean, organized and easy to shop. I am trying to find a new purse. I usually prefer the wider strap that I can wear on my shoulder. Not a tote, but room for enough stuff to be a prepared mom when on the go. My purse now is large and even though there is not much in it I can never find anything! Ha ha That might just be me. With two tots in tow I just don't want to hold a purse over my forearm. I want something secure. I have even been thinking of even going with a backpack style. Upon calling to ask about returning 1-2 items I was told because it has been 30 days since the purchase date the items are not eligible for return. I did not receive the items right after they were purchased so I should not be held to the 30 day limit. The policy should be different for items received as gifts. I love love love Coach Purse and stuff, so when I saw Tanger Outlet Mall opening up by Westgate, I knew it was only a matter of time before I wound up over there. So the time had come for me to go check it out, asked my daughter if she was up for a road trip and off we went! Hi all! I had never purchased outlet but I did purchase a signature tote at this location and at first I really loved it! Everybody was lovely and the sales girl mentioned they had a great one year warranty so I felt pretty safe with my purchase. Unfortunately only a couple of months later I started to notice a dark spot forming on the front and another starting at the back. I went to the Arrowhead retail location to find out if they had anyway to clean it and nobody seemed to ever have seen such a stain. They also mentioned that the outlets use different materials than the retail stores, I had no clue! I went back to the outlet but they were also unable to help and the told me the purse is not covered under their warranty because they said it appeared to be a stain from my jeans... I've never heard of that but it was disappointing to hear that not only is this not covered but that the purse is not the same quality you would get at a retail location. I always assumed the outlet was for discontinued styles. Anyway if you buy here please make sure you purchase wisely and maybe stick to dark prints! Posting pics for you all! The strap on my bag broke, so I brought it in to exchange or see what they could do. The bag was only 6 months old. They were super nice and gave me the option to exchange it( they no longer have the bag in the same color) or have it sent in to be repaired. I'll have my bag in 4-6 weeks hopefully all fixed. If they are not able to fix it they send you a merchendise credit. It was an easy awesome experience! read more

Recently, I had bought a purse and unfortunately, it started wearing down and eventually cracked on one of my purses handles. I was so happy with my experience here today! I recently purchased a coach purse at a different outlet less than aweek ago for my birthday. Unfortunately, I wore it with a red shirt yesterday and some of the red dye from my shirt rubbed off onto my cream colored purse. I was devastated! I brought the purse in to this store see if they could advise me on how to remove the dye. A really nice guy named Johnathon helped me. He tried to remove the color with the leather cleaner and conditioner that they have there. Unfortunately, it didn't work. He told me that he could exchange the purse or give me store credit for the purse. I was so happy to exchange it for the same style, but in black so I don't have to worry about this happening again! I didn't expect them to do this since it was totally my fault, but I'm so impressed with the customer service! I am so happy with my new black purse.
