We were in and out but there's so much to see as this store is much larger inside than it appears outside. Staff were friendly and explained the setup of the store upon entry. Located in downtown Glendale, it's easy to find, parking not so much on a busy day. If comics or mangas are your thing (or that of someone you care about), give this place a visit!

This location almost always has the issues or trades in stock that I'm looking for. If what you're looking for isn't in stock, they can order it for you and save it in store or let you know if it's available at any of their other locations. I love their large $1 bin for issues and how they organize their new issues for the week, trades from DC/Marvel, mangas, and dedicated kids section. Samurai is somewhere you'd definitely want to come back to every week.

Best part is it doesn't have that funky smell you sometimes get walking into comic shops The selection is legit. They have the newest releases along with classics, vintage comics, rare issues and plenty of variants. There are walls of comics to go through plus graphic novels and collectibles. They even have a huge minifigure section with tons of different characters. Everything is numbered and organized so you're not digging through a mess trying to find something. They also carry some cool random pop culture stuff like the air fresheners which I wasn't expecting. My kids had a good time checking everything out too. The staff was cool and ready to help me find whatever I needed but they weren't hovering over us while we looked around. I appreciate that. Clean store, good selection and plenty to dig through. One was my favorite automatic that had stopped working and they got it back in action within a few minutes of looking at it. The other watch was my dad's watch that he gave to me shortly before he passed away. They listened to me tell them a little bit about the watch and my dad, and found the problem right away. It needed a new movement. They ordered the Swiss movement and had it working perfectly within the timeframe they quoted me. The pricing was very reasonable and the service was excellent. I couldn't be happier with the service and hospitality I received from this fascinating shop. They also have a lot of interesting items for sale. This is the worst card shop and the worst batch of people I have ever encountered in this hobby…read more The guys in there spend more time yapping about their casino winnings or fantasy teams than they do trying to help you with anything you may be looking for. Their selection of singles is incredibly mid and overpriced. DO NOT GO HERE TO SELL YOUR CARDS. A few months back I went in with a 2025 Topps Jacob Wilson Gold Holo Foil /50 PSA 9. The head guy in there refused to directly comp my card, he was looking at other variations of Wilson rookie cards and determined my card was worth "maybe $10, but I'd give you $25 to get your money back because you graded it." There was a direct comp in June of '25 of $175. Other card shops I had been to had given me an estimated value of $200. This guy flat out tried to rip me off, wasn't nice about it, didn't even care that he wasn't looking at the right comps. He literally said to me, "we only buy off people that need the cash and that's usually between 40-60% of comps, if you don't want to sell that's fine but the next 5 guys will." HORRIBLE experience. The worst place I've ever been and could not express enough how poorly it's ran. If I could give negative stars, I would.

Should have walked away, so no one but myself to blame, but don't fall for the friendly neighborhood store facade, it's cut-throat. No transparency on their offering whatsoever. They gave me basically a 32% offer on a lot of products easily worth 1000. Should have walked away, but I didn't, don't make my same mistake, sell it on E-bay, and buy what you are looking for on E-Bay, prices are better both ways.
