When my grandson liked WW2 planes the person (I don't want to say salesman since there was absolutely no pressure or upselling) explained the different types of planes. Also he recommended which ones for a beginner modeler based on size and number of parts. Very helpful. Plus I called for a question when he started painting. The question was answered right away without having to be transferred to another person. So very helpful in that store. I'd like to also click on value but they only let me select service and selection.

I had interacted with him before and found his attitude unprofessional, and today's visit left me feeling the same way. Throughout my visit, I felt like I was being treated as an inconvenience. When it came time to bag my purchases, Frank said that it wasn't his job. His tone and attitude made me feel unwelcome instead of appreciated as a paying customer. I expect basic courtesy and respectful service. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to this location while Frank continues to work there. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses how customers are treated.

As the hobby continues to grow, so do the number of hobby shops. If you're in or near the Phoenix…read morearea, RIP Valley is hands down the best shop for various reasons: -fair pricing -incredible selection -by far the best customer service On Saturday June 6th I went to the shop to browse some discount bins. Calvin and Emmet were working, and they could not have been more welcoming. They invited me to sit at one of the tables so I could watch the game while sorting thru a bunch of boxes. I thanked them for not sweating people who are just trying to find some gold. One of the young men went and got me a cold water and we talked ball for a while as I continued to search. All in all it just feels like the old school shops when you could go in and look for what you like, instead of being pushed out of the way for people buying thousand dollar cards. One other thing I'd like to point out, is they will take a look at anything you feel like parting ways with. Saw a couple different people come in, and the staff gave them fair and honest pricing and advice, instead of belittling them or offering them well under comps. This place is also located in a cool part of downtown phoenix, so you can park for free near the park, walk to the shop, then check into some of the local eateries and bars!

Guys are welcoming, it's become a staple of my life to check out what's new at RIP. Huge selection…read moreof sealed products as well as single cards. Nice $ 5-20 dollar selection for those looking to save some money. Also some bangers in case you've saved up. I've never had a negative experience. Thanks RIP

So glad we found Wildlings Toy Boutique! We discovered the cutest, most thoughtfully curated toys…read more-- all creative and truly educational. As a K-12 teacher, I know what to look for, and this shop has so many great options that foster growth, meaningful play, and academics in a fun way. The owner and staff are amazing -- so kind and welcoming. I will definitely be telling our neighbors, family (in and out of state), and other business friends. We'll absolutely be back!

wildlingstoys is a boutique toy store that sells educational and developmentally centered toys…read more It's a small shop but it's packed full of goodies. Shelves are arranged by suggested age to make shopping easier. We went in for three gifts for varying ages and found some unique items, which is why we were avoiding big box stores and online shopping. My favorites were found actually by my 7 year old for a 1 year old friend and a 2 year old friend. @slumberkins has a line of stuffies, with matching books, that guides through emotional intelligence. Although we picked them by which stuffies were our favorites, they each had a great lesson: building connections and a growth mindset. I also grabbed a matching set of positive affirmation cards for kids. Great find! To top it off, the team member asked if these were each gifts and then put them each in a nice gift bag with matching tissue paper. What a wonderful and unexpected surprise! Wildlings Toy Boutique is located near Bethany Home and 16th st and is right next to Cafe Mollie, and across the street from Luci's Market (so stop by for some caffeine and a treat).
