Really disappointed with Gamers Guild's pricing on Pokémon products. I understand local game stores need to make a profit, and I'm usually happy to support them, but seeing Pokémon 30th anniversary ETBs marked up to around 3X MSRP is excessive. Families already have a hard enough time finding Pokémon products at reasonable prices, and pricing them this far above retail makes it feel like the store is taking advantage of demand rather than supporting the local gaming community. I'd much rather spend my money at a shop that charges a reasonable premium and builds long-term customer loyalty. Unfortunately, based on the ETB pricing I saw, I won't be buying Pokémon products here. read more

I love this place. I feel like I could spend hours here. The restaurant is right next-door connected and it's delicious. I love that they have so many board games, Legos and many more things to choose from. You can order food right there and the service is wonderful. The prices are very reasonable. You get the chance to actually look at the game many of the games. You can try out if they have them for uses. read more

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. I'm currently recovering from surgery and my sister was kind enough to take me out to try something new. The space is HUGE!! There are soooo many tables to play games at and it's free to play and bring your games. There's tall tables as well if you'd like to stand and play - I saw many people play beyblade! There's no time limit as long as you follow their code of conduct. There's a huge free game library where you can borrow games to play with your friends! Free water, plenty of restrooms, lots of ADA seating and an ADA bathroom, all gender bathrooms, approved autistic friendly center, free ear buds and headphones to borrow if you're overstimulated, and so much more. There is a huge selection of board games. Everything and anything from expansion packs I've never seen to a whole area of art supplies to make props for games. The pricing of all the board games are fair and to be expected - nothing was overpriced or increased! The best part is the food. You can scan the QR and buy food and it'll be brought right to your table! It's quick, fresh, and delicious. They have side tables that are perfect to hold food and underneath it is a shelf to keep your belongings. They also have gaming mats already on the table for you to use or you're more than welcome to bring your own gear! If you want drinks you can go to the other side where Forks and Board is. It's a full kitchen and bar area with delicious food and yummy gelato and drinks. This place is still new and has only been open for 6 weeks so they're still building their drink menu but you can ask for almost anything! I will absolutely be coming back to this place. We spent 5 hours here and it was amazing. read more

I had never heard of Gamers Guild until my son came here for a birthday party. Such a cool place! The private game rooms were perfect for a teenager's birthday party - and really reasonably priced too. Great selection of games and items to purchase, and I love that you can order food to eat while you play! What I love the most is how Gamers Guild has truly managed to create a "third space" for the community and allows you to come in, hang out, and play games without a requirement to pay anything. I also love the inclusive environment. They are truly a gift to the community and I wish we had more places like Gamers Guild. I'm so happy to support this local business! read more

We had so much fun here! This place is awesome, you can leave your ID with them and they have a wide variety of games you can play and they also have more than you can imagine for purchase. We can on a Friday night and there was plenty of tables available. Super cute date night idea if you want a unique place to play board games at. They also have a restaurant / bar attached so you can order food and drinks while you play. The staff was friendly and it wasn't super Crowded. read more

This is the biggest and best run game store I have ever been to. I was shocked by how much the staff knew about each board game and how clean it was. read more

This place is AMAZING. massive game selection, great tables and chairs , and the service is outstanding. 10/10

Honestly, it's getting impossible to play here on Thursdays. My friends and I used to come in with a massive group of 15 people every single week, but we completely stopped going because of the table situation. The shop blocks off almost all the space for official events, but then barely anyone even shows up for them. You look around and see rows of empty tables reserved for nothing, while regular paying groups who actually brought people have absolutely nowhere to sit.We even asked nicely if we could use the empty space, but the staff just told us we should rent out the private room instead. What a joke--that room is already booked solid anyway, and it costs a ton of money. It sucks because we loved the vibe, but it's a total waste of time to pack up our games and drive over just to get turned away. They really need to fix how they manage space on event nights. read more

My friends took me here to drag me back into the MTG scene, and I was absolutely daunted by how massive and accommodating this place was! At Gamer's Guild, you can find: -A sea of tables to enjoy with your friends -A nifty bar and grill -All the products you need to nerd out I played a few long matches and got my butt kicked while enjoying some tasty adult beverages from the well-curated tap selection. The atmosphere is top notch and the staff were all so helpful and friendly that I'd recommend this spot to anyone. read more

It smells like McDonalds water in here. The Magic Card system they have for singles or trade ins is very slow service. They are nothing compared to other stores with a glass case. Dont come here for MTG singles only sealed products. Some of their sealed product is limited so you dont get much of a choice here. The environment is welcoming and open and thats the main reason why we come. The service people and hosts are very friendly here. read more

Gamers Guild AZ - PokeMon Go! - Video Game Stores Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

This place is HUGE! It also has a bar/restaurant attached. Nice selection, a little bit of everything. Lots of open tables for card games abd miniatures. But. If you are a tabletop role player, not so much. Yes, the tables are open, but also the place gets loud! There are back rooms, but the cost is that. I'm more old school. Also, though the staff is helpful, they are trying to help others and check people out, stock, etc This can be overwhelming to newbies. Old hands will have no problem navigating here. read more

Smells like a gym locker room... but awesome place to hang out for any game night or tcg player. Huge selection of products.

This place is super unorganized first time at this location and found out they were doing a Pokemon tournament online the girl at the event station charge us and didn't help us on where or who to see until after we went back to her and asked at that point it was 7:03 and had to forfeit a round we informed the lady it was our first time here when we payed read more

Gamers Guild is an awesome business! The environment is fun to be around and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful every time I visit the store. I walked into the store originally out of curiosity and now I go there almost every week to look around and shop. Great selection of family games, trading card games and puzzles as well. The environment is fun to be around. Prices are great, especially for the quality of product and customer service you get. I really enjoy gamers guild and would recommend it to anyone to visit, even if you're just into casual family games. The first game I purchased was Splendor and that's what got me back into card games after getting bored of the traditional family games like uno, monopoly etc. The staff helped me pick out which kind of games I'm most interested and pointed me to Splendor which was the perfect recommendation. Another cool feature about Gamers Guild is they have a game library. It's a perfect date night or entertainment option. You can pick a few games from the library and play them so you can decide what types of games your family enjoys playing the most. 11/10 would recommend Gamers Guild- even to the "non gamer" types like myself. read more

Selection is good, clean facility in the hood, huge but no prices on games. It's annoying. Staff is not the friendliest especially the ones that handle the register. Much prefer Meeples and Beyond. read more

Absolutely love this place! I come every Thursday for board game night and always order the appetizer sampler from forks & boards. I've tried the fried shrimp, fries, onion rings, and chicken and it's all good and they bring it right to your gaming table. I also like the gelato, banana fosters flavor is my favorite. I'm keeping my eye on their events tab too because they have some fun stuff! read more

Absolutely trash company. If I could give them zero stars I would. Paid for express shipping and taking over a week. Emailed them why and they gave me a typical customer service useless response. tried emailing for an explanation and got nothing. Take your business elsewhere read more

My family and I love coming to this place. We often get the GF chicken tenders and chicken tacos. The food was delicious. When we ordered our meal we asked for waters and it came with plastic cups. We paid for our food and it automatically tipped 20% once we closed the tabs. We stacked our plates and gathered the cups together to make the clean up easier for the staff. On our way out, a bald staff member yelled at us to come back to our table and throw away the plastic cups. I did not appreciate the tone he used as if we did something wrong, especially when we did not leave the table a mess. There was also no signs anywhere that suggest we had to throw away our own plastic cups. read more

How did we not know about this place sooner? It's incredible! Such a cool "third space". Safe, inclusive, fun environment. Gaming tables abound with no fee to use. Massive selection of games...board, cards, RPGs, and more. Some hobby supplies and miniatures. Free game library to borrow and play there. Awesome way to try out a game, with no pressure to purchase! Loads of events daily and a membership option for those who may frequent more often. The restaurant looks great. They have movie and meal nights with some great titles included. Grateful our North Phoenix community has a place like this to encourage social interaction and engagement in a supportive environment. Thanks, Gamers Guild! read more

Worst service by Mike at the Phx store who said he was the manager. Cussed out veterans over a soda and offered no customer service. Was rude to customers and US ARMY vets. Got offended and verbally abused customers in front of many other patrons. Mike got mad at the customer and would not shake hands and also insulted and retaliated on customers as he felt insulted. Customer tried to reconcile and Mike the manager refused and was rude and condescending to the customer. Please feel free to reach out for further details kencruzrealty@gmail.com. Pretty awesome setup and space, and very cool to see this open up. Really would love the crew here to carry more Games Workshop / Other Miniature products in store though, I can almost never find a kit I want to buy as it seems they have thirty of one thing and never any of the cooler stuff and it's always at their warehouse (honestly a problem in Tempe as well). Look to Old World Games for that as somehow as a smaller store they manage to keep a better product line and inventory in stock constantly for miniature wargames and Magic the gathering. Looking forward to them completing the build out as well as the store is vast and barren missing a lot of the cooler stuff things (display cases, artwork, etc) that make coming to a space like this special! That being said they have an excellent selection of paints, a decent selection of basing / modeling supplies, and lots of fringe board games which is fun, and a literal ton of tables to game on. The food from my experience was excellent all things considered and surprised me with quality and presentation! I hope they keep the same quality and cleanliness as things progress! Ultimately Gamers Guild is in a weird spot where they seem to be moving from literally the greatest game store in the valley into more of a meeting place (which is rad), but when I come to game I usually also want to make purchases as well and tough to do that when they have such a limited selection of actual products to buy. Regardless it's five stars and probably always will be as the staff is incredible. read more

Store enforces a restocking fee on unopened games. You cannot return something to another store. I live in Tempe, and shopped in North Scottsdale. Had to drive 40 minutes back to North Scottsdale for return and was charged $13.00. read more

Gamer's Guild AZ considers "Make America Great Again" hate speech We love shopping locally and with an allegedly family-friendly environment and great prices both locations of this store have been favorites with our family for years. We have organized get-togethers with friends at the open game tables, participated in registered events, and made frequent purchases both online and in store, without issue. So it was quite a shock when our family was asked to immediately leave even as we quietly filed into the building to buy a new game. As we headed for the door, we asked "Why?" since nothing visible had changed, about us or posted policies. The answer, in late summer 2025 the owners of both locations decided to classify "Make America Great Again" as hate speech. Consequently, the hats our kids had chosen to wear (without problem for roughly a year) now classified them as unwelcome in the store. How disappointing that Gamer's Guild AZ, who openly preaches tolerance, secretly practices discrimination to covertly bully people into hiding their convictions. read more

Love this space. My husband wanted to introduce me to tcg and we found lorcana. We now go regularly on Sundays and Mondays for shift leader and local constructive tournaments and other events that they hold for lorcana. My favorite people to see are jordan at the events counter, who is always friendly and helpful and rose at the retail counter, she always pulls the best packs for me! The atmosphere that these two employees bring are what keep us coming back. Keep up the great work! The only reason I gave a 4 star and not a 5 is because they do not have baby changing tables and high chairs, which we bring our kids with us regularly, so it's a big inconvenience to us not having those available. Other than that we love it there! read more

first time visit. they were insanely rude. i brought a friend who is a nurse and served as a medic in the marines. she was discharged due to a brain injury. she now runs multiple transition homes for people with eating disorders, vets with injuries and PTSD and victims of domestic violence. they refused us service the second we sat down. we literally didn't even order water yet. i had only introduced her to my friends and got menus. we were not rude and did not cause any problems and tried to reconcile multiple times. the staff and management insulted us many times and tried to act like we were the problem. claiming some right to cut people off when we have not had any alcohol there or anywhere else. even when we tried to move on and talk about order something else like food they insisted on being insulting and they wouldn't even talk to us like we were people. after humiliating my friend on her first meeting with my other friends. she was upset, but she wanted to hang out with my friends anyways. so we moved over to the gaming section and even bought a couple of games. we didn't make a scene. we just went about out business and started playing a game. they then insisted on kicking us out saying they will call the cops. they are ANTI DISABLED and ANTI VETERAN and i strongly suspect they prejudged her and just decided to harass her. i bet they looked at her and decided she was a right wing person when she very much isn't and decided to abuse her based on their bigotry. i cant wait for them to respond to this comment with their LIES. because that's how shitty people like this act. every person in my very large group i was with was beyond stunned at their behavior. they were all offended. this was well beyond offensive and inappropriate! read more
