Stopped in here for a pair a shoes & I actually lucked out... found some Rothy's on clearance, gold ones perfect for the upcoming holidays :) I'm not gonna lie I started browsing & nothing caught my eye but there's always a good selection when you have the time to find that one thing that jumps out @ you! Upon checking out the line actually moved very quickly which was nice because that's always a toss up! I found some healthy snacks to bring to work, protein bars on the lighter side... they always get you while you're standing in that line, never fails I'm always throwing something extra in my basket. read more

I don't shop at the retail level very much. If I were younger, trying to dress sharp and make good impressions in my early employment years Marshall's is a good starting place. Store seems to be dated, isles are small and crowded, some shelves are in disarray and few items laying on the floor. Compared to women's clothing, the men's apparel is far less! I did find some items around the store in other departments with some decent prices; some priced as any other store. They have unusual items and vast array as well, I would have scored higher but lack of men's cloclothing and isles hard to negotiate. read more

Swung in seeking some pillows to match a pillow I found at the Peoria Marshall's location. I wasn't successful, but I picked up some really cute seasonal decore, pajamas for the girls and some glass pumpkins for my mom. This is a very busy location, but thr line moved fast. They sure make holidays extra special with all the holiday products they offer. Nice prices. read more

I shop here very often. Never had a bad experience besides long lines or not finding what I want. Well today I experienced something very outrageous. Most likely due to theft a lot of beauty items are in glass security shelves now. I went and asked for help in the fitting room, after quite few minutes the employee came, looking extremely displeased with her job. She ignored me and tended to the other two ladies who were there. Those two ladies started opening products and discussing the colors and making personal comments. Mind you while I was standing there, no comment was made as "I will be with you shortly". After awhile I asked the employee if she could open the door where Clinique products were. I already knew what I wanted, she looked at me and said "no, you have to wait. I need to take this to cash register". I guess if you are not a certain type of a customer they don't care about your business. The employees pick and choose who can have access to their higher end products. I find it absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Train your employees better. Teach them that this country is full of people from all over the world and not just Mexico. read more

Emilda shoved our 6 yr old & was completely professional to me.... Older Hispanic lady with "blond" hair... On Sunday 7/21/19 my family and I were shopping at one of your stores. My husband was with our 6 yr old and in the toy section of the store. Our 6yr old was picking up toys from the floor and one of the female employees approached him and put her hands on our child she placed her hand on his back and pushed him away and said "go back to your parents" (she did not realize that my husband was there and witnessed the incident) my husband told this employee "I'm right here" surprised she said nothing and rushed away! No apology, no eye contact. After that incident she walked around the store making comments loud enough we could hear her complaining "These kids, these parents need to take care of their children" etc... My husband later found me shopping in another section and explained what had occurred. I could not believe that another adult would EVER Dare touch and in this case push/shove a child that is not theirs. I wanted to get the name of the employee to report it. Once she saw my husband she would immediately avoid him and walk in another direction. I realized it might be harder to get her name to report her since we could not see her name tag. I then followed her as she walked with another employee towards the bathroom area and employee area. Before she went into the employee room I said "Excuse me what is your name?" She franticly pushed the code to enter the employee room and rushed inside, ignoring my question. The employee that was with her turned to me she seemed confused about the situation. I asked her "What is the name of the lady who was with you?" I held the door from shutting about half way with one hand and wait for her response as she looked at me and turned to her co worker not sure what to do. Instead of her responding the woman who's name I requested was already inside the room and she forcefully pushed the door shut while I was standing there with my hand on the door. I was in complete disbelief of what just happened! My husband and I called for a store manager (Rebecca)we explained to Rebecca what had happened she apologized about the behavior of her employee and said that since the employee had already clocked out and was ending her shift she could not discuss the issue with her until she returned to work. I asked the manager to please review the cameras and she responded only corporate had access to that. I asked for the name of the employee (Emilda) We cannot believe that someone would act this way in their workplace towards customers, let alone a child. I will mention that our 6 yr old was NOT unattended, or disrupting,he was picking up toys that were already on the floor. To top it off the first incident she proceeded to make things worse by her actions towards me. This employees attitude was completely unprofessional, unreasonable and wrong. We have never experienced this type of treatment. We were disrespected and insulted by her demeanor and her physical contact Emilda needs to be addressed in how she interacts with customers. Stay away from her and this location and avoid Emilda at all costs ! read more

I just walked out of a Ross store with a horrible experience and walked into the Marshall store next door only to find a fine young lady named Jessica s. What a wonderful friendly young lady. This store makes you feel welcome and unlike the Ross store ,this staff is extremely friendly. I shop here pretty often and I had the worst experience here today. I have a lot of trouble finding shoes I like, but I fell in love with some shoes. I went to the dressing room to try on some clothes and I was told that I had to leave the shoes I had picked at the front which I completely understand. However, when I came out within five minutes of trying my clothes on I asked for my shoes and the lady said that somebody must have taken them and she didn't remember. I had specifically asked to put them behind the counter. Extremely disappointing, especially since there was two of them there that both had no recollection of the shoes from five minutes ago. I also tried on a few items that I noticed afterwards were ripped/ had holes in them today, that I would have otherwise bought. Not the best Marshall's experience. read more

I was in the store yesterday, I shop here pretty often. There was a newer cashier her name is Almond, she helped me to find a phone case (which was the last one) for my size. I brought to the checkout the wrong size and she took it back and found the right one! While checking out we were chatting and I had mentioned that the clothes I was purchasing was for my daughter. As I was picking up my bags to leave I overheard her asking another costumer if she wanted her to go to the back and see if there was something she could find for her.... I thought wow this lady is really helpful. I got out to my car and was putting my bags in the truck and she (Almond) came running out with my receipt saying that she remembered our conversation about the clothes being for my daughter and I may need the reciept for returns. I told my husband about the whole exchange and we were both really impressed with her costumer service! She is an excellent employee and really great with people! read more

Name Brands For Less I really enjoy going to Marshalls, even though I don't go often. Marshalls offers very affordable name brand products, at a much lower cost then other department stores. Marshalls selection of clothing, assessories, luggages, cosmetics, electronics goods might not be as large as other department stores however, if you have the time to look, you can find what yoy want. Marshalls is the place to go if you want to find gifts for your family, friends, or yourself at bargain prices. The store is clean and the staff are helpful. Recently, I was looking for metal mason jars with lids and straws. Most of the other depaetment stores wanted 12 99 - 16.99 per cup. I found exactly what I wanted at Marshalls for 3.99 each. Marshalls is a great department stores to shop, especially for home decor. read more

I ask the manager at the Marshalls if then would do a discount on a white T-shirt because it had Black and Red stains on it. This was the last shirt in the store and I was hoping to take it home to wash it, and possibly try and save the shirt. The manager lady responed by say there are no discounts on shirts that have stains, and everything is washable. I get that its washable, But why would i go through the hard work of washing a new shirt for the full price. This manager does not know how to do business. The store is nice and some what organized. The reason for the 3 out of 5 stars is due to the lack of cleanliness in the store. The people are also not all that helpful either. The prices are great though on what you can find but be careful, not everything is over stock like they say, a lot of it is from the "dent" pile. Missing a zipper, missing a button, and such. Give it a try you may find the diamond in the rough. read more

I definitely prefer this Marshall's to the one near downtown Phoenix. I find the staff friendlier and their aisles are more organized. Gets very crowded and a bit messy during the holiday season though, but then again what store doesnt right? I love the location since it's close to Costco, Borders, Harkins movie theatre, Cold Stone, frozen yogurt and other great restaurants. I love shopping here! read more

I was so mad i didnt even bother to ask for the manager to point out the mess. But i did take pictures so they dont call me a liar. I hate that! Horrible experience at this store. I came in to just look around and found some items I wanted and was with my sister and boyfriend. As I was coming up to the register the cashier was scanning all the items and rang up my total. Mind you I am the type of person that uses tap-to-pay on almost all P.O.S. So I can accumulate my points and exchange them for rewards through Samsung Pay, as I was going to check out using my form of payment the cashier says to me "you can't use that form of payment" I asked "why not?" To which the cashier replied "we are not set up to accept that form of payment" I asked if it was just Samsung and she stated that it was any type of tap to pay. Another cashier that was nearby overheard our conversation and the 2nd cashier also stated the same. Meanwhile this situation is turning from what should have been nothing to something big and other customers are overhearing the conversation. I went ahead and tried my tab to pay either way and in the system it was approved and it printed a receipt. Both of the cashiers were stunned and surprised and they were withholding my receipt along with my items stating that they did not know where the money went and they don't know if the items were paid in reality. A little while later the manager , whos name is Letty, comes over with this attitude from the get-go saying that the items were not paid for either. I asked the manager what she meant by that and she stated that they did not know where the money went. I was not only stunned by this but I was embarrassed and humiliated by the 3 people that represented this establishment. Being in customer service they did not even offer to look into the situation or bother to find out what was happening. I proceeded to take my items with me and called all the Marshall stores valley wide. They all accept Samsung pay and Android pay from what was stated to me and further more they connected me with corporate which I spoke to a representative by the name Brittany there and she assured me that they did accept and were set up to accept Samsung pay and Android pay. I called the store back to which I originally purchased my items and advised them of what I had learned and been told by all other representatives and associates if this business. I spoke to the manager who I had contact with at the store, Letty, and explained to her the information I was given. Her excuse was that she had never received notice or an email in regards to the tap-to-pay form of method that ALL Marshall are set up to accept. This is just UNACCEPTABLE customer service and behavior from any establishment to put a customer through what I went through. I would never go back and give my business to this establishment. If I could give this place no stats I would but other consumers need to be aware and know your rights as a consumer wherever it is that you go. read more
