We ordered the Tendon set because I didn't feel like looking on my phone for the rest of the menu. Presentation was very nice, but was expecting dipping sauce. Tempura in my opinion, fell short of my expectations-batter not flakey crispy. Matcha latte was yummy and the beer was ice cold. Won't comeback for the tempura anytime soon. Will check out your menu online and try something else. We also got in line 15 minutes before they opened only to find out we had to wait in a different line because we didn't have reservations. The restaurant just opened and had many open tables. If they prioritize reservations (which was closed online for the day), they should know which tables will be filled and allow non-reservation patrons to be seated without having to wait in a different line.

Really enjoyed the service received from this restaurant business. The staff are always really friendly and helpful. Timing of the food entrees and quality are spot on. At first the katsu burger looked messy with the mayo, which made the crunchiness to be wanted. That said, it was really frickin good. If it had iceberg lettuce and less sauce we think it would be a solid 10. For the bacon burger, this had a lot of flavors that were simple and great. Service was quick, waited around 5 minutes for the burgers to come out. It's a smaller shop with 4 tables, so seating might be limited during rush hours. Highly recommend it for an affordable meal with lots of options! And if you're a burger lover, this place will not disappoint!

We ordered the chicken teriyaki, black garlic tonkotsu and chicken karaage. The chicken teriyaki was really good - better than many of the places we have tried around the Maple Valley, Issaquah areas. The chicken was very tender and flavorful with just enough char. The karaage was good too. The tonkotsu definitely hit the spot with just the right flavors and tasty, perfectly chewy noodles. They have all the extra toppings available too (I ordered corn). For drinks, we ordered the Taro Milk Tea (they were out of the boba) and a Thai Iced Tea. Both were good. The Taro Milk Tea was especially nice -- very similar to an Ube Milk Tea. Service was quick, efficient and easy! Prices were reasonable. Overall, a nice surprise in North Bend! We'll be back! And I'll post food pics next time we visit! (all I took was their gallery wall )

The 'plates' were generously portioned. We had Chicken Katsu Bento which came with chicken katsu (of course), tempura shrimp, gyoza, california roll sushi, white rice and a small salad. Also had crispy chicken that came generously sauced and not too sticky with generous mound of chicken accompanied with two servings of white rice. Lastly, we added a separate tempura shrimp order. From the moment I stepped inside to the decor and service to the taste and quality of food, I was impressed the entire night. Most bbq places are laid back and loud, but this place is refined, sophisticated, and everything you'd want for a date night or celebration. Starting off with service, everyone we spoke with was lovely and inviting. We felt welcomed and our server kept checking on us, but wasn't too invasive, so we were able to catch up. We were greeted with hand towels and 3 options for water. Cutlery and tableware were nicely set up and I'm obsessed with their plates! I was blown away by all of the dishes we ordered but my favorites were definitely the Uni Toast, Wagyu Volcano, and honestly all the meats we ordered to grill. They grill your meats for you, so it is a bit awkward because the person stands there until everything is done, but it's cooked to perfection! Highly recommend for a nice date night or celebration dinner.

We tried again a week or so later as my work is close by and we wanted something quick and affordable as we had a comedy show to go to afterwards. As we entered, we were the only ones and we were greeted warmly by the sushi chef and our waitress. Our waitress told us to pick any table we'd like and she brought us menus. Once we had ample time to glance over the menu which honestly had the right amount of items, I got the udon and shrimp tempura while my boyfriend got their Philadelphia roll and chicken katsu. Our waitress asked if we were fine with water and I didn't see a drink section on the menu but they do offer fountain drinks, canned drinks and hot tea. The inside is small but it's cozy and initmate. They have K-pop playing in the background with the music video. There is a good mix of natural lighting from the sun and inside. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. We received our roll and shrimp tempura first, udon next and finally the chicken katsu. The katsu sauce here is one of the best katsu sauce we've ever had as it had a perfect balance of tangy, sweet and savory flavors. There was a lot of katsu and my boyfriend said the only complaint was he wished there was a bit more rice as the ratio was off. I loved my udon, they give a generous portion of fish cakes, fish balls and a piece of shrimp tempura as well as plenty of tempura flakes. I do wish there was a bit more noodles but that was my only real complaint. The shrimp tempura was good but I do wish there was a bit more sauce. My boyfriend's roll was delicious and fresh! Their hot green tea was also comforting and delightful! The service here is pleasant as our waitress was kind and checked in on us often. She was also courteous and professional with other customers.
