Tried the titanic nigiri here since I've been seeing it for a while. They were indeed, gigantic and available for takeout only. We got both the seared and fresh titanic salmon nigiri, and I think I preferred the seared more since it had more flavors :) Though, I did love the regular as well - I just think the fish wasn't the freshest I've had. Only a few pieces kept us so full.

Overall a pretty good experience. We came on a weekend and were seated fairly quickly for lunch. Service was friendly. We got the gold package. It's a little pricey in my opinion for the fish options they give. I really wish they had scallop as a nigiri on the menu. They only had one roll with scallops. They had tilapia, octopus and a few other options as sashimi/nigiri which were interesting. The handrolls were more our preference. I actually enjoyed their cooked food more over the sushi. Steak, grilled salmon, and noodles were pretty tasty! They have a food bar with milk tea and jelly. Some cooked items like egg rolls and a few other options.

Sometimes you need to pig out and this AYCE spot serves that purpose. The cheapest value is their weekday lunch, but we opted for a weekend lunch (dinner pricing all day) which had more options. --The good: Grilled chicken and beef, calamari, chashu ramen. --The meh: Sushi rolls were bit too heavy and dense, stir fried noodles bland, Thai iced tea watered down. --The bad: Siu mai was the frozen kind, karaage and tonkatsu dry, most of the complimentary hot bar items were flavorless. Ordering was easy enough via the table QR code. Half the service is friendly, the other half is very quiet. They have ordering limitations so coming with bigger groups doesn't seem to be the most feasible way to max out things if everybody is hungry.

Ok, as some of the other reviews recommend, check the waitlist prior to arriving. I ignored the recommendation and had to wait 30 minutes. As for the food, i have mixed feelings. I thought the sushi was perfect for an AYCE, not the best in the world, but definitely good. My issue was with all the non sushi items. The NY steak was the toughest NY steak I've ever had. Same goes for the ribs. The ramen was fine but every other non sushi meat dishes were so tough or soggy (oily wet tempera). Even katsu was tough. I channeled the inner Asian in me and ate them all so i wouldn't end up with a fine but i would only get sushi here.

Lunch review only. Stopped by for a weekday lunch due to great value (around $20 for silver and $25 for gold tier). We were lucky and snagged some street parking right in front. Tiny location but we were able to snag some seats. I would say that for a sushi place, the sushi menu is somewhat limited but again, it is what you pay for. There are some drinks including thai tea and fruit tea that is a wonderful option and makes the value even better. There is a small hot/cold bar while you wait for your ordering selections (you order on an ipad and I believe you can only order every 15 minutes or so?). They had a variety of different options including soups (like ramen and udon), grilled items, appetizers, salads that are all good portion sizes (small enough that you can try several different things). Ramen was OK, I enjoyed the small salads, drinks and sushi roll fish quality was good (rice ratio was a little high but reasonable). We didn't feel the need to gorge ourselves and got to try some random things like dumplings and salad given the reasonable price point and I ended up satisfied with my meal. It's not the highest quality and the option list isn't the most expansive, but a very reasonable place that I enjoyed.

Good food and amazing birthday celebration! Friendly and clean. everything perfect. Good to come back soon.

The Titanic Salmon Sushi boxes are incredible. Each piece is so buttery and delicious. The price is very good considering the size and the quality of the nigiri. I bet each one is equal to four normal sized nigiri! I got super full off of three pieces. The presentation is also very nice. I would highly recommend!

This place is all hype. The sushi was nothing special below average at best. The cucumber was old and soggy, which definitely didn't help. They also automatically add a 12% gratuity regardless of party size. Overall, the food just doesn't live up to the hype. The inside is small, and tables are packed so closely together that it feels like you're sitting on top of the people next to you. DO NOT BUY INTO THE HYPE.

Wowww! I came here on a whim because I was waiting for my friend to get his car fixed. This was the first thing that popped up close to me. I wasn't sure if this was a place where you go order upfront and sit, or a restaurant. After I was seated I was informed this was all you can eat and you use your phone to order. There's a 90min time limit and you can order a max of 15 items at a time. The prices here are CRAZY. It's $20-$23 for lunch and $31-$37 for dinner. I ordered a shrimp tempura which I wasn't expecting much from, but it was pretty good! The tempura was really crispy, the noodles were chewy and they put half of a hard boiled egg in it. I ordered nigiri, rolls, and hand rolls and WOW I was surprised at the quality.. the fish was really fresh, they used real crab in the rolls. Since they make it once you order this place beats conveyor belts by far in terms of quality. I think if I ordered everything I ate here over closer to downtown or Bellevue it'd easily be around $60. It's crazy that it was only $37.. and that I could order much more?! Unfortunately I wasn't that hungry so I only ordered one round. They also have a salad and fried bar that you can self serve with miso soup that looked decent. I didn't try any of it, so can't compliment on the quality... But see my photos and remember I got this all for $37!!!! Id definitely come back for sure.

Great place to grab sushi around Seattle. The pieces are huge for a great price. The salmon was a bit too tough and chewy for me. Good flavor and sauce though. I'd come back and try their AYCE.

Very impressed by the quality of fish for an all you can eat spot! And also very appreciative of the appetizer/boba tea bar. We did the gold for lunch on a weekend which ended up being about $40 per person, which is a little expensive but I think was worth it for the amount of sashimi we ordered. I also was pleasantly surprised by the beef udon and tataki. Super quick bringing out the sushi as well and did not notice a smell that was mentioned in other reviews.

An AYCE sushi place with very good prices and quality. We can in for lunch and the staff quickly explained how things work. You order via your phone and you can put in 15 ordere every 15 minute. You get 1.5 hours and they do charge for leftover food. We essentially only did one round of 15 orders cause we weren't too starved but still really enjoyed everything we ordered. The ingredients were fresh. Every dish was made to order and came out warm. The variety of rolls and dishes was great too. I can see filling up the whole time with delicious food. A super fun, economical spot for a group!

Vy M.

Love that they brought Sumo to U District! They have a variety of sushi, sashimi, grilled, and deep fried options. The price for dinner is $32.95, which isn't too bad. They also have self serve boba with different toppings!! The ordering system is a little finicky and we thought we wouldn't have enough time to order but 15 items every 15 minutes does add up. They also have a hot bar but nothing was fresh when we went, so we skipped it.

The wagyu sushi was torched perfectly table-side. Superior quality. Was asked if was okay with med rare . Which yes! That's how it should be but I appreciate them asking. I guess some people want theirs cooked more even though it's improper to do so. The shrimp cocktail was delish. Even the cocktail sauce was a house made special sauce. Not the typical red , ordinary sauce. Squeeze of the lemon straight into it and it was truly chefs kiss. Best shrimp cocktail I've ever had. The size of the shrimp were good as well. No skimping there. My main dish was the Ichibo. Perfect medium to medium rare in my books. But that wasabi sauce I added. Fresh ingredients in the initial preparation for sure. Paired well with the mashed potatoes that were whipped thoroughly. True star was the drink. I rarely have cocktails when I'm out now but this one looked too cool to pass up. It's their signature cocktail made with Ginza no Suzume and with sprite instead of club soda. Balanced mix of sweet and tart. This is a must check out spot! I can see it being a busy place on the weekends and hard to get a reservation too but treat yourself during the week. Good vibes. Good service. Good food. Also, parked right in the chipotle lot next door. Easy.

We would not order spicy again because we found it too vinegary. The best thing here is definitely the drinks. While they could've been speaking to menu technicality of simply having it on the menu, in a well-spirited reply they said they had it for us. And so we... * Took a $35 Lyft to zoom over and respect their time, which certainly contributed to the frustration but very much isn't where most of it derived from. We made it a few minutes before the time we said we'd be there. * The only reason this isn't one star is because we ordered skewers that were pretty decent. I do recommend those. * Make sure to have phone charge for the virtual menus The host was amazing!!! Incredible spirits for late night. The servers were pretty garbage! I say servers plural because dude and his lookalike double-teamed us and somehow both sucked. I say this as someone who's worked in the service industry for 3 years. The servers seemed actively dismayed & angry that we were at the restaurant (there were 2 bigger tables that ended up remaining before we left the place, mind you), which simply could've been easily mitigated by telling us at 8:50PM to come a different day if we wanted better service or something of the sort. After traveling far & wide for this freakin Okonamiyaki, with an offputting slight glare, the waiter told us that they didn't have it for the night. No reason provided: "we just don't have it"... mmmk buddy. At least lie to us and say that the kitchen doesn't have any more ingredients or something dude. Upon the 3 of us ordering what we got, each item was disappointing in its own right: * To be fair, my friend who ordered the Uni Udon was warned that it might be a little weird tasting, and it sure was. Don't recommend * The JFC Don pictured was about 90% rice according to my friend. Nothing more needed to say there. * Annd my Maguro Avocado Don... wow I was astonished at how much I disliked it. The rice was lukewarm. Nothing was mentioned about minced tuna on the menu so it looked like dog food in my bowl. I'm white... so what in the white people shit was in my bowl? Like...genuinely. I could make that 10x better at my house in half the time and I'm a fcking college student. Is seasoning no longer with us? Does anyone know what pepper or garlic are? Was astonished at how one can make a dish so terrible. I only ate it because I'm broke and can't afford other stuff. The dish looks as horrible as it tasted , and I made it look better than it was served to me I could go on. And lastly, the checks. Yknow, for guys that seemed so pissed for us being there, they were slow as hell with the checks. I'm kind af but a bitch when I'm fucked with (case in point here), so I really gave them my whole dentures, which was exponential in magnitude compared to what they gave us. Thank you Issian, for a terrible night. Citizens of the world, please don't waste your money here, I beg you.

I waited and brought it up again and was met with visible annoyance. Another staff member eventually mentioned that employees use a sink in the kitchen. I asked if I could use it. Shortly after, soap appeared in the bathroom with no acknowledgment or apology. What concerns me most is this: if the customer-facing restroom had no soap during the dinner rush, and the response to being asked about it was irritation rather than urgency, what does that say about how handwashing is handled behind the scenes? I'm not looking for perfection. I'm looking for basic food safety protocol to be taken seriously. I didn't see that here.

I've been here twice now because the reviews were so great, and I was genuinely excited to try it. Unfortunately, both experiences left me disappointed. The first time I visited, I found the sushi really underwhelming and thought maybe it was just an off day. We decided to give it another chance in July when we went back with friends, and while it was slightly better, it still didn't impress us. My biggest issue is that the sushi just seems to lack flavor. As someone who eats sushi regularly and has tried many places around Seattle, I found it to be some of the least memorable sushi I've had at a restaurant. What makes this especially difficult to say is that the staff is genuinely lovely. They are some of the nicest people, and I really wish the food matched the service! Seattle has so many fantastic sushi restaurants, so unfortunately, this one just doesn't stand out for me. Even though we live nearby, I don't think we'll be returning. I know everyone's tastes are different, but based on my two visits, I just don't feel the food lives up to the reviews.
