The place is situated in the heart of Gold Coast where youll find paid street parking nearby. Once you find the building, you'll take the elevator to the 4th floor where youll be greeted by the staff members Constantine took awesome care of me throughout the process. Starting with my first appointment, I walked him through what I was looking for and the budget i had in mind. We decided to go with off the rack options where he selected several different suits to have me try on based on my body composition - FYI: they'll provide shirts and shoes for you if needed to try with the suit so dont stress if you come "unprepared" After trying on a bunch of different colors and having him provide his opinion, I decided after trying on a couple more different styles/materials We locked in the purchase and went over the desired alterations for the following appointment. The original day of picking out and buying the suit was a great experience. The gentleman who helped me that first day was extremely helpful, professional, and made the process enjoyable. Unfortunately, the experience completely changed when I came back for the tailoring and final pickup. The buying process that day was subpar at best. Not only was the suit handed to me wrinkled, but the entire interaction felt rushed, like they wanted me out of the store the moment I put it on. For the amount of money being spent, I expected a much higher level of service and attention to detail. The woman assisting me during the pickup process was honestly horrible, and it completely took away from what started as a very positive experience. I came for a custom tuxedo for my wedding. The process of getting the tuxedo was fine. After the tuxedo was purchased I got home and realized I hadn't bought a shirt yet. I texted my stylist who had been helping me with the whole process. Usually they reply fairly quickly, the day of at the latest. I hear nothing. I found that strange so I sent an email to suit supply. After 2 weeks I get an email asking if my issue was resolved.. no obviously not. I send another text and write another email. Nothing. A few days later I get an email asking for a shirt order number it seems like they didn't even read my email). If I'm asking for the size of the shirt I used I obviously do not have an order number. It has now been 4 weeks since my first message and I'm fed up. This literally should have taken 45 seconds and it has been a month. My guess is taking the one minute to pull up the notes to find the measurement doesn't get them any commission. I'm thoroughly disappointed with my experience. read more

I've been a customer once or twice a year now and I love the collection and how they display everything so brilliantly. However, earlier this week I went in during the afternoon. I was not greeted and I was there nearly 20 minutes looking at options. There are 2 main showrooms and most of the cllient advisors/sales associates were mingling in the room ~I was not in (where the suits and tailoring location is. There were definately available people to assist me i took notice. I actually had a gentlemen come up and compliment a shirt I was wearing. He was a guest sitting in the corner chairs waiting for someone. After 20 minutes I walked up to a lovely lady attendant who was helping another customer to ask her the price of a pair of shoes. She was helpful. But the fact that not one person from the other room came over to ask if I needed help was a huge put off All the client advisors need a good lesson in customer assistance. Cheap price cheap work. My overall experience with Suit Supply was mixed. The in-store experience with Isaiah was very pleasant--he was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable in showing what alterations were needed. The suit quality itself is excellent, and shortening the pants was done well. However, the rest of the alterations were disappointing. Lengthening the jacket sleeves was only about halfway completed in terms of matching the stitching and pattern to the rest of the sleeve. Taking in the back of the jacket was another issue--although Isaiah clearly demonstrated in-store how it would be adjusted, once I tried it on at home and took a closer look, it was clear that the alteration was not done as shown. Overall, I'm happy with the suit and the help I received from Isaiah, but the quality and attention to detail in the alterations left a lot to be desired. I've bought 4 suits from SUITSUPPLY so far. This experience had the most customizations but the results were ok. Last time somebody I think called Matt was helping me out and that man knew professional service! This time round not really. We spent a lot of time on sizing and measuring and trying different fabrics and cuts together with our designated sales associate but it somewhat lacked interest from his side. We spent a lot of time waiting on them finding the sizes or the fabrics or the pants. It got worse when as a sample shirt I was given a shirt with wet pits that stunk and no apology afterwards. That was gross!!! Value to cost is generally good. I like the suits I already have and hopefully this one too- this time I'm getting customized pants so we will see if it holds value. read more

Danas is the man! I was gifted a GC good for a suit but I decided to use it towards a custom Tux for our NYE wedding party. Originally it was scheduled for 2021 but due to COVID, we pushed it back to 2022. So back in 2021, I worked with Danas on a fitting and was lined up to pick up the Tux. However since no NYE party in 2021, I asked them to hold it. Several months later after I discovered the Tux was sent back to CA. Never to be found again. There was a misunderstanding but Suitsupply took care of it at no cost and we started from scratch! The tux arrived about a week and 1/2 before the party and I felt and looked great! I had heard mostly positive reviews from some online men's style channel's and from a friend who has shopped at the chain's LA location. Unfortunately, I had an awful experience. Upon entering the store and browsing for about 10 minutes, not a single salesperson bothered to offer to assist me or make me feel welcome as a new customer -- and there were only a few customers in the store at the time. The sale associates seemed pretentious and totally disinterested. I wanted to purchase a knit polo but opted to keep my money in my pocket for use elsewhere. So this is one of those places that tries so hard to put on a good image but at the end of the day JCP has better quality suits. You walk in and they ask you if you want a latte to distract you from the fact that you'll get a sub par quality good. I wore one of the suits once and the stitching on two of the belt loops had already come off. "Italian wool" my rear-end. Never going to recommend this place to anyone I know. I never write reviews but I hate being suckered. Guess I now know. Just so I'm clear the customer service while you're there is very good. *warning*- Amazing post for an amazing shop. I should start by saying that I'm in an upcoming wedding and the suits we are to wear are from Suit and Supply. While the groom and the other groomsmen are smaller and able to wear European cut items, these usually present problems for me. After being out in LA visiting family I went into a suit and supply to get fitted for my suit and it didn't go well. However, I knew that I needed the suit. *Warning* an amazing post for an amazing shop. By now you're like how does this shop play into this story. After my wife was on the phone with several people from suit and supply, it was determined I'd need to have a made to measure(custom) suit made for me. So I drove down to Chicago from Minneapolis after making an appointment with Jonathon. Matter of fact it was his last appointment for Saturday. Once I stepped into the Suit & Supply I was mesmerized by the fashion and the location. But again being a larger guy I thought I'd be shunned or judged for entering a store like this. Not at all! The staff greeted me and was ready to help. I explained to them why I was there and they took me to the back room and offered water. After that Jonathon arrived and we got down to business. He was thoughtful and caring and took his time with me throughout the entire process. He helped me by creating the tuxedo I ordered, but also making it my own. At no point did I feel I was out of place or that I didn't belong. He made me a fan of the custom suit and Suit and Supply. It should be noted that his colleagues would come in offer their opinions as well and help out. Overall the staff was amazing and supportive. When I spoke to Jonathon this week I had concerns about it not being to me in time, he erased all doubt that it would get to me in time. I told him that I'd pay for the expedited shipping but he quickly emailed me and told me that they'd take care of that as well. I'm extremely grateful for suit & supply in Chicago and the staff that my wife spoke to! I have no doubts I'll look amazing in this wedding and in my Tux and I'll buy more custom suits/tuxedos from Suit & Supply. This is a tough one for me to rate because I've been very happy with every suit and tuxedo I've ever purchased fro Suit Supply. Their suits have always looked great and held up well. The issue is with the customer service and its consistent every time I've bought a suit. Every sales person is juggling 2-3 people at a time. Between doing measurements, pulling different shirt & tie options, pinning the suit for tailoring, etc., there's a lot of waiting around for the sales person to come back around. If you're there to pick up a suit after tailoring and the sales person that sold you the suit isn't there, the attention you receive from sales person that is there is minimal at best. I'm not sure if its because someone else has gotten the commission but from a customer standpoint its not a good experience. Recently I purchased a new tuxedo from Suit Supply. During the buying process everything was just fine and a pleasant experience...its picking up the suit that is constantly the problem. I needed a new tuxedo shirt so naturally I wanted to grab it while picking up the tuxedo. As usual the Sales associate was juggling another customer along with me. After waiting a couple of minutes for my tux to be grabbed and being measured for a shirt, I sat waiting for 5 minutes while sales associate helped his other customers. Tried on the tux with the shirt he brought me...another 5 minute wait just standing around waiting for someone to come back. When I told him that the shirt was too big, he said he was going to get another one. I gave up when over 5 minutes later I was still standing around waiting for a shirt. its the same every single time. Everyone goes far out of their way to help when you're purchasing and once you've made a purchase, you're an afterthought. I don't expect white glove service but if people are going to spend $700-$1,000+ on a suit, people should get better service and attention throughout the entire process not just when we're looking to purchase. There is also 0 real selection and NO value to their products and services, you are paying 10 times a competitor to basically be abused, especially the services (which are there just to abuse their contract terms). Well my journey started with a wonderful day having lunch preparing for a wedding and buying a suit. The location was great The service was fine so many suits to pick from picked one I liked then the nightmare began. I was measured left the establishment. Got a call in two weeks stating my suit was ready went to pick it up and the suit didn't even button not even close. I have no idea what happened. I was told I was to pay $41 for tailoring which I paid and went back home to the burbs patiently waiting to get my suit. Couple weeks my suit arrived in the mail. I went to try the coat on and I look like a stuffed sausage. had to go back into the city and get fitted again and when she saw me, I put the jacket on and she said that's not right. At least this time I wasn't charged for tailoring and it's the day before the wedding and I hopefully I'm going to get my suit. The selection of suits is fine. From start to finish they took great care during the entire process. Stopped in at the recommendation of the brother In law when I was debating the direction I wanted to go for wedding options. My first trip there was quite pleasant, helped after taking a few minutes to the suits on the rack. Tried on 4 jackets, opted for the colour I was looking for and was shown to a fitting room. Popped out and the salesman went to work pinning the suit for the alterations that were needed. Took down the information and vowed to come back. (30 min) 2nd trip ordered the suit (5 min) 3rd had a proper fitting in and out in 15. 4th trip tried it on and was out the door. Have to say they made the process easy, despite me visiting more than once. If I had chosen to purchase the first day I was there I would have removed two trips. Will be back to pick up another suit or two to fill out the closet and update the wardrobe. read more

After achieving my goal of losing 30lbs before the new year I decided to reward myself by doing something I've wanted to do for a very long time...getting a custom made suit. I asked a colleague of mine where he gets his suits from because he's always very well dressed whenever I see him at events. He swore by Jonathan at Suit Supply Plus. After hearing about the cost of what a custom suit could cost and reading some of the yelp reviews, I was a bit hesitant. I went with my instinct and trusted my colleague's recommendation. It was hands down one of the most pleasant shopping experiences I've had. Side note....A lot of people complain about the staff not being attentive or working with multiple people at a time. I arrived early for my appointment knowing this would be a process so I made sure I wasn't in a rush to get in and out. Relax...enjoy your experience...it'll be worth it. Jonathon let me know that he was still wrapping up with another guest but I was free to browse around and get an idea of the things I'd like. We spoke for a bit and gave me some suggestions on things I said I was looking for. When he wrapped up with his guest I had his full attention. I let him know that I was tired of paying for $300-$400 suits and then paying an additional $100-$150 to have them altered, only to find them still ill fitting...fit better but not the way a good suit should. At first I almost opted for their off the rack suit that they can tailor for me in house but after looking at the price of the suit and alterations I went with a custom suit which was about $100 more. Overall I spent about $300 more on a custom made suit as opposed to a store bought then tailored suit and will choose to do this every time from now on. You choose everything. Your jacket style, color, pattern, material....there's a lot going on to a novice like myself. I expressed what I wanted and had Jonathan take the reigns and lead the way. He pulled different styles and gave me an honest review on what would fit me best. I fell in love with the style. He measured and adjusted everywhere...and after everything was pinned I had a pretty good look on what the final look would be. I have never had a suit that fit me so well. Placed my order for my suit and had them make me a custom made shirt as well. I'm really looking forward to picking it up in a few weeks and seeing my final product. My review as of now is mostly about my consultant. His styling suggestions, meticulous attention to detail, and overall attitude definitely made my experience. Thankfully, my co-worker, who is also tying the knot, suggested a place that I absolutely loved. The best part? You don't need a reservation to visit! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with everything about the shop. The associate was extremely helpful and patient, even though the color I was looking for wasn't in season yet. He gave me his contact details and promised to inform me as soon as the color was available. What's more, the shop has a terrace where they offer coffee and tea, and they even have a tailor in-store! I've been wanting a suit from Suitsupply for the longest time. The last suit I bought was in college for job interviews, which was almost 10 years ago. It was time for a new suit. There isn't a Suitsupply in St. Louis, where I live so I visited during a vacation in Chicago. This location isn't just right off the street, you have to enter a small hallway in a building and take an elevator up to the store. When I visited, the store was quite busy. My spouse and I were immediately greeted and asked if we wanted something to drink. Richard helped me select my suit. I told him about my situation, how I hadn't bought a suit in a long time and wanted something for all occasions. The store has everything you need to get the perfect fit, shoes, shirt, tie, etc. You can come in with a T-shirt and shorts and still be fitted for a suit I ended up purchasing a Navy suit. The jacket fit perfectly, but the pants needed a little altering. I was thinking I would buy the suit, take it home, and then get it altered, but they have a tailor onsite! Richard was very knowledgeable, answering any of my questions and making some suggestions. I told him if I was to get alterations I would need the suit done by the next day. He was able to talk to the tailor and had my suit altered in 30 mins! I think they were able to do it so quickly because the alterations were just minor pants alterations. My suit came out fitting my perfectly. I love it! Best quality suit I've ever purchased. The suit wasn't terribly expensive, but is probably on the higher end of what I would normally spend. I was first introduced to SS back in 2015 and decided to stop in to their location in fall of 2018 to make my first purchase after the years of following and research on the company. Upon entering, I was greeted with a warm welcome by the team and ended up receiving assistance from Mike Schmank who also offered me an espresso which I gladly accepted. Right off of the bat I was wowed by the immediate service, the atmosphere, and the in house tailors sewing away and making all of their adjustments. Mike bared with me for about 2 hours of trying things on, learning more from him and his knowledge on the product was fantastic. I'm an engineer and so I naturally gravitate towards understanding manufacturing processes and what makes a product a quality piece. Mikes knowledge and assistance ultimately lead me to create a relationship with the team and I have been a avid customer there ever since my first encounter. Most of their fits to me reflect that of a Neapolitan fit and the soft shoulders work very well in formal and casual wear, and are also quite nipped at the waist. If you have an athletic body shape, then you'll love it here. I can say that SS has one of the best quality per dollar suiting that you can throw your Benjamin's at, and they are worth every single penny. I wear the snot out of this clothing and I've even battled people breakdancing in them, so I mean...that says a lot...but I don't suggest breakdancing in a suit hehe. They have this manikin that is sitting down and too this day, I still bump into that guy and say "ope sorry" and then realize it was only him so I say what's up. He hasn't moved much since we met, but he always has a great outfit on! Highly recommend the team at SS and make sure to pick at their brains on other styling ideas. They were a bit understaffed, but they were still awesome. I got there around 1130am on a week day (I think it was Monday). I needed a suit for grad school. Michael is the person that helped me. He was worth the wait and the trip. Great advice, didn't talk down to me even though I admitted that I haven't worn a suit in over a decade and that I was interested in their lower end offerings, and he helped me get the right fit. That last part I figured would be a challenge. I don't skip leg day, so that lead to opting for their Lazio suit separates. The nested trousers that fit the corresponding jacket size fit laughably bad for me...like painted on in the thighs with no aspect of my junk left to the imagination. Once we switched to the separates: problem solved. It was a great experience. They hemmed the trousers in under 20mins while I waited. The garment bag thing that folds into a portfolio looking case struck me as being a brilliant idea-I thought I'd be carrying a normal garment bag on the L. Based off of this visit, I will not hesitate to go back for more suits, shirts, and clothing. read more

He was not pushy and gave me an informative rundown on what to look for in fit and style. The full tux set for $895 was a good deal also! In terms of sportcoats, I needed something for my rehearsal dinner and was always into something navy blue. I went into their store and ordered a custom 3 piece suit on April 4th. They told me it would be ready for pick up in 9-10 weeks. I emailed suitsupply after 10 weeks of silence asking for an update. They emailed me back a week after that, on the Friday of the 11th week, telling me my expected pick up date is now AUGUST 17TH. Their promises were off by 2 months and now I have 3 weeks to find a suit for my wedding because of their lack of communication. I called them after the email and was assured I'd get a call from the store within 48 hours. But! I was fooled again. So suitsupply still has 2,000 of my dollars and I am at square 1 for my wedding attire. I feel like the only thing they supply are lies and deceit. Pretty upsetting stuff. After, the Store Manager, Michael was made aware of the issue, he immediately rectified the problem. Michael called to personally speak with me and took the time to address my concerns, which i greatly appreciate. He was very kind, invited me back to the store, and gave me the excellent customer service I am used to getting when visiting Suit Supply. I couldn't be more happy with the outcome.
