I feel very lucky to have Jacob Young in Chicago. His work is excellent, he has something for everyone's price range and his prices are competitive at the very least. More importantly, he's one of the most trustworthy people I've met. He stands by his product and will make you whole if there are any issues whatsoever. On top of being an excellent purveyor of men's suits, he is a value-oriented person and is long term minded when it comes to client service. He went above and beyond for me. I have two examples that demonstrate Jacob's commitment to his product and his clients.   1. The original fabric that I chose for my tuxedo was considered black by the manufacturer. Weeks later, after Jacob worked on the jacket, he noticed it had a slightly blue tint. He called the manufacturer who confirmed that the fabric did in fact have a blue tint. Jacob immediately made me aware of this and offered to remake the garment at no additional cost to me. Despite the fact that I chose the fabric and the manufacturer didn't make us aware of the blue tint on the swatch. None of this was Jacob's faults, but he resolved the issue anyway.   2. I lost more weight than I expected for my wedding and both of my wedding jackets, shirts and trousers needed to get remade or resized more than twice. Due to timing and other factors, Jacob offered to deliver my tuxedo the day before our wedding at the wedding venue. Incredible. There's no other store or person in Chicago that I know that would do something like this. If you're prize quality and client service above everything, Jacob is your guy. I wanted some custom shirts made because I'm short - 5'3" and regular dress shirts off the rack don't fit me well. I also figured I would get a jacket at the time. But my main goal was getting clothing that fit well. I went to Jake and got a sport coat and 5 shirts. The selection and the fitting process were both excellent, I was measured twice for the jacket and once for the shirts. I could not love both the jacket and shirts more! Not only does everything fit perfectly, I had no idea how many other elements of the clothing really mattered. I never really thought about jacket weight before but I get hot easily, so he showed me selections that are lighter weight fabrics. And the jacket is really a unique style but it still totally works for work. I've worn in twice so far and gotten tons of compliments. I loved the shirts so much I got 5 more and am going back to get another jacket made soon.
