UPDATE: I've since signed up for the sugaring membership at S&B and love it. I get sugared once a month for $39/month and they automatically pull it out of the account I gave them. I've had several girls sugar me but have had Paula the last couple times bc shes always there on Saturdays which is the most convenient day for me. Shes awesome and very thorough which I appreciate bc there always seems to be pesky hairs that are left behind. If you're looking for something other than waxing come here bc the sugaring method is way better than waxing and the girls are awesome! Plus when you do a Yelp review and/or refer friends you get a $10 credit every time for a bronzing service! BONUS! read more

I got sugared by Hannah Nelson, I haven't been here in a while so I knew it was going to be a little bit more painful than normal. She did a great job with making the pain not hurt as much as it could've. I have been coming here for three years and I have always had great costumer service and the aestheticians who sugar are always kind and patient. I had a appointment for a service with a trainee. I show up 10 minutes before my appointment and they tell me my appointment is cancelled. No prior notice and the girl in the front didn't even offer an alternative solution. I drove 30 minutes for my appointment and will never come here again. The girl in the front told me in her super annoying baby voice told me they sent me an email last night canceling my appointment. LIAR!!! I received the cancellation email as I was walking to my car AFTERWARDS (see attached). Don't support an establishment that doesn't respect people's time and lies blatantly to your face. I will take my business elsewhere since they are not the only sugaring place in town. read more

She made me feel 100% comfortable right away and took the time to throughly explain the whole process all while swiftly attending to my needs. No joke the best spray tan! Beautiful color. I get the level 4 and it has zero orange,with a red undertone. I have the $39 one membership a month instead of $49. & it rolls over if you don't use which is great. Probably wouldn't have it if it didn't. Only issue is the girls don't apply or take off your barrier cream. I dont like that I have to ask them or bend down while I'm wet to wipe it off my toes so it doesn't ruin my nails or get all over my shoes. read more

I was in need of a place to do a cost efficient airbrush tan for me for an upcoming fitness model shoot I was doing. I scoured the Groupons for one that I could get into right away. I didn't even buy the Groupon because it was a better deal without the Groupon. $39 for 1st time customer and 2nd tan free! They made everything much easier. After getting off the phone I received a text with my appointment time and the address. Text messaging simplifies everything for me. After standing in my birthday suit for about 2 minutes I forgot that I was in it. Made me feel very comfortable. There was no swatch for the different colors of tan so I went with the 2nd to darkest tan, as you can see the camera can really wash out the tannest person. I wasn't sure how tan it would be so i went with the 2nd darkest color. The next day I received a text message asking me about my tan. The gladly obliged and darkened the areas that I thought could use a little extra color without charging me extra. The want to make sure you are satisfied so they go above and beyond. In a couple weeks I will be doing a fitness competition and this will be where I go to get my show tan! Btw I'm trying to figure out how to upload one of my photoshoot pictures now. read more

Facility was beautiful and clean. Technician gave a thorough explanation of the procedure and options. Process was fast and follow up directions given. What a waste of time and a waste of money! I'm commuting from Downtown Los Angeles and had an appointment for 5:40pm. I called at 5:25pm when I saw the traffic was a little worse than usual to see if I should still come. I was told to come anyway and if I got there after 5:50pm they would work it out. That was with Angelica. I call back at 5:51pm stating I was 2 minutes away and I was told I was past their 10 minute grace period by Julie and I would need to reschedule. She also said that I was told that and that was a lie! So of course I was pissed, but I went in anyway because I didn't appreciate being given the idea I would still be serviced, otherwise I would have rescheduled then before commuting any further than I did. Of course once I got in, nobody was available to talk to me and it was a lot of he say/she say but nobody was trying to rectify the issue. I asked for my membership to be cancelled, no further charges to be taken from my credit card and to speak to a manager or the owner. I was given the email to a CJ. But as far as I'm concerned, the staff there are not taking accountability for misleading information being given to a client and showing no concern or remorse for how much of an inconvenience this was for me. Granted, I was running late, but that is why I called. Had I been told that from the beginning, fair play. But to drive all this way and be told this, is just dumb, unnecessary and inconvenient! They need to do better and they just lost a customer! I hate to blame this on race, but I've felt uncomfortable coming here from the jump because it felt like I was being looked down upon. Maybe you have to be a certain race to receive certain exceptions at this establishment. FYI, I've come here before and had to wait over 10 minutes for an appointment. So I could have been seen. *EDIT* Changing the 1 Star to a 3 Star because CJ called me immediately after my email and was very professional, empathetic and understanding. She apologized on behalf of the staff and offered to make things right. She even convinced me to keep my membership (in which I will be patronizing at a different location from now on). We all drop the ball sometimes, but an apology and some empathy goes a long way. read more

This was the absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED!!! I had an appointment for 9am this morning, and upon arriving (on time) I asked if there was an atm because I usually pay everything with cash. The receptionist told me no and that there were no banks near by (which was a lie because there were 2 banks literally 2 minutes away)... I then went to look it up on my phone, found a bank, and told her I would be back in 10 minutes...I was literally back in 8 minutes but she had already switched my appointment to a later time. Her attitude was terrible, she made me feel uncomfortable, and I honestly felt like she just didn't want to provide me any service. I will never ever return to this place again. Edit: after leaving this review I was contacted by someone from SUGARED + BRONZED, and they gave me $100 in credit that has no expiration date. The woman I spoke with on the phone ensured me that this never happens and also informed me that they only accept debit...so the fact that the receptionist never informed me of that was completely unprofessional, and had I known that, I would have never left to begin with. I will return using the $100 worth of credits I received, but I will not be returning to that location. read more

Waxing is tiring and annoying and it usually hurts. Sugaring makes the chore less terrible and using sugar/water just feels more natural. The girls who work here (South Bay location) are so nice and make you comfortable while they are busy sugaring away everything. The location is super clean, cute and they have appointments crazy late in the day which is amazing. You can actually find time to stop in, get taken care of and be on your way in 20 min. I was running late once like another reviewer had mentioned but I called and they pushed my appointment back and all was well. I've never had to wait longer than a minute or two before they are able to take me back and start on the sugaring fun. I've also arrived earlier and again, have been able to be seen right away. I realized I come every month so I just signed up for the membership to save some money. Love going to this place as much as anyone could "love" going to get hair removed. read more
