I had a great first time experience with Sugared + Bronzed! I applaud them for their excellent communication and interaction with their clients. I was able to contact them through text message (& they were quick to respond) which made it easier for me versus trying to call and get a hold of them in case they were busy doing services. S+B is probably one of the few sugaring studios that offer a Brazilian for the price of $49, most places I know of charge at least $55-$60. Bethany took awesome care of me during my Brazilian sugar appointment. She got the job done quickly and professionally (25min!), hardly any mess left behind. She did a great job with making me feel comfortable as a first time client, so I will definitely be seeing her again soon. The only con I noticed about this establishment was the parking situation. It is located along a busy, main street. This studio shares parking with another business so you'd either get lucky to find parking in that small lot or park along the street;unless I missed additional parking located elsewhere... I have had bronzing and spray tans all over The South Bay, Beverly Hills and Marina Del Rey. SUGARED + BRONZED is my FAVORITE company. Their tanning process is quick and easy and offers Standard and Express tanning services. WIth the Express Tan it only takes three hours to dry and rinse and you're good to go. I usually don't leave reviews but I was appalled by my experience with Taylor. She is the most rude person I have ever met. I went in to get a Brazilian about 3 weeks ago and felt so uncomfortable, she was very rude and kept making rude comments and smirking during my appointment. I have other friends who also come to this location who have also had the same experience with her, during your sugaring she makes you feel anxious and has told all of us that we shouldn't come back! All the other staff is kind and welcoming except her. I highly recommend having Kylie sugar you, she is nothing but welcoming and sweet! read more

This place is awesome! I've had a lot of airbrush tans in my life, cuz hello, I'm a pasty white girl and sometimes you just have to tan it when you can't tone it!! Trust me, it makes you look like you lost 5-10 lbs. I've only had a few really good airbrush tans, amongst many bad ones, and this place is one of the few places I've had a perfect tan. The airbrush tanning artists clearly know what they're doing. Nice even spray technique, that doesn't leave you dripping or wet. Love that you can select a color between 1, 2 & 3 and they have rapid solution options too. For the record, I go for the 1 and it gives a nice natural tan glow. It doesn't hurt that every time I've tanned here, I get countless complements about how healthy I look. Don't look any further! Sugared + Bronzed is the place to get your glow on!! I just had my first ever spray on tan session! I wanted a base coat (nothing too dark or fake-looking). First of all, the salon is run like a high-end spa :) The girl who sprayed me was very professional and applied the coat so well that my tan looks natural! Today was my first ever sugaring experience, and I am really glad I did it! A little backstory - I tried waxing at a different spot that was less than ideal. Although they got all the hair out, they also ripped my skin to the point where I scabbed. They were dismissive and it really, really sucked. Fast forward a few weeks. I've been looking into sugaring since it's supposed to be better due to the natural ingredients and the way the sugar adheres to your hair versus wax. It's also supposed to be sensitive skin friendly, so I was definitely willing to try after my wax mishap. Bethany took care of me today and she is such a bubbly and fun person! She talked to me throughout the sugaring process and I got my lip and underarms done. I won't lie, sugaring hurts a bit more to me than waxing, but it gets the hair out a lot better to me than my waxing experience, and there was no redness or stickiness. Also, NOTHING ripped so yessss! I think sugaring is my new favorite hair removal method now. read more

I love the sugaring process and benefits it provides for my skin since I wax in my sensitive areas. For me, it's proven to be less painful than traditional wax and less harsher on my skin. I appreciate that all the ingredients are natural and after I've had my hair removed they apply essential oils to help soothe the skin. Beautiful shop and really nice staff!! My only complaint was the girl at the front desk was pretty rude. I was running a few minutes late and showed up at exactly 1:10 when my appointment time was 1:00. As I approached the desk the clock struck 1:11 and she canceled my sugaring due to being 1 min past the 10 min grace period. Even though I spoke to her on the phone several minutes beforehand when I was just a light away. I understood I was late and that was def my fault but I explained my circumstance as to why and explained I was traveling for my honeymoon. I understand the policy but its also LA and impossible to control traffic and other factors such as plumbing breaking in your home right before your appointment. I also had a tan scheduled for 1:40pm and she acted as if they were doing me a favor by still taking me for that when it was still 30min until my tan appointment time. I ended up finishing my tan at exactly 1:40 which is the time it was supposed to begin. The girl doing the tan was so sweet and did a wonderful job! I was traveling for my honeymoon to Greece so was def looking forward to my sugaring appointment luckily a girl in training did a quick bikini line sugaring for me and she was fantastic and so nice! Thanks to that girl for being awesome and making a crummy day better! The rest of the staff were wonderful and very professional! Overall a great experience. read more
