This is my second time here at, Sugared + Bronzed. The first time, I paid $49 for a Brazilian! After I was done, the person who did my sugaring informed me I had a free one the next time I come, hence my second visit. The first time I was so nervous and anxious! I did not know what to expect. To be completely honest, it hurts more than regular waxing... But I like it better than waxing because it takes out more hair and it takes awhile for my hair to grow!!! The second time, it did not hurt as bad.. the pain was manageable. I think sugaring is my new thing even if it does hurt a little more than waxing. I prefer sugaring :)! Drove all the way from Long Beach to continue going to my S+B appointments and it is totally worth it :) People are very friendly, very convenient store hours (compatible to commute avoiding traffic), and results that last longer. Totally worth it. I would just recommend to have better lighting for employees to check hair, and customers to see the results. read more

HORRIBLE! My daughter booked spray tans for the two of us before a trip. I scheduled a wax to be done before the spray tan. i wanted a leg and bikini wax but the options on line do not offer this together so I had to do two separate procedures. I tried to call to make sure i scheduled properly but no one answers the phone! I texted the number and a very kind person responded and assured me I scheduled properly and then can do the spray tan with my daughter afterwards. Upon arrival a very rude person told me I was not going to be able to do the spray tan with my daughter as the procedure would take too long. I was there an hour before the spray tan mind you. She was extremely non accommodating and so I cancelled. I honestly felt like I was being old lady shamed! it was very clear they did not want my business. My daughter was very upset and cancelled hers as well. Our mother/daughter day completely ruin by this nasty person. read more

My first time here! I arrived 15 minutes early, and Bethany was kind enough to take me right away. She made what's usually an incredibly painful experience pass by as fast as possible. I went to Sugared + Bronzed on 2/1 for my first ever tanning! The girls who were at the front desk were extremely nice and welcoming. I got level 2 since it was my first time and I loved it! Very friendly staff. Makes you feel very comfortable. My first experience was a bit better than my second. Second she seemed rushed and spoke/mumbled to fast, I had to ask her to repeat almost everything. My first visit was much more relaxing and she explained everything precise and clear. I recently got my first-ever spray tan at Sugared + Bronzed. It was an incredibly easy and quick experience. The staff was friendly and made me feel 100% comfortable. I was nervous about the color and a little freaked out before showering 8 hours later, but it ended up looking amazing! More than that, the color lasted for about 2 weeks. My go-to for sugaring services in this area. Light airy space, open late, private parking lot (and street parking), convenient online booking, usually in/out in 15min. Really all you need in here. The only downside is, as far as I can tell, that there isn't a way to book with the same technician each time, but all the girls are pretty good at what they do. If you get a package or join the membership, the pricing is solid as well. read more

Friendly staff. Comfortable and clean space. Love the slider wood doors to give some ambience to a hallway. I did the spray tan (one that you can shower 3-24 hours after) and just wanted a bit of color and felt "2" is too dark. So not complaining about the experience. Just staff and you should know "2" is a pretty noticeable tan. I don't know if I love the "new" product as much as the old as I felt it looked orange at the edges (which is luckily only at ankles). read more

Definitely satisfied with my first Brazilian sugaring experience here. The ppl are super friendly and accommodating. The prices are reasonable. And Morgen made me feel extremely comfortable. It wasn't awkward at all. I will say there is still some pain but it's way less than waxing on a scale of 1-10 it's probably around a 6 when waxing is a 20. It was $49 for a Brazilian and your second one is free. Can't beat that wit a bat. read more

I have been coming here for 6+ months and I've never had a bad experience. All of the ladies are crazy professional, knowledgeable,super sweet, and efficient. As a larger woman the comfortability aspect of this shop is soo important to me and they've covered that period. Each lady has mastered the art of talking just enough to make you comfortable and not blabbing to where you wanna scream can it lol. 1000% recommend for any waxing service, but definitely Brazilians. It can be scary to consider, but the S&B staff made it so comfortable from day one. The customer service here is lacking. They don't have a full time receptionist so beware of that when booking. The girls at the front desk provide the sugaring service. I scheduled a bikini sugar with the same girl who did my first appointment. No one said when I booked the appointment that booking with the same person wasn't a guarantee. They confirm me for Julie. When I arrive she isn't there and no one tells me that until I am already in the room. When I check out what was supposed to be a complimentary service is now full price because it is 5 days before a holiday. Again, no mention is made of this when I booked or checked in. Why?! Because customer service isn't a priority here. It's more about getting as many people in and out of the door as they can. read more

Sugared + Bronzed is Amazing!!! My tan has turned out beautifully each time. I've been 3 times so far. I have been spray tanning for years so I know a good tan when I get one. All of the girls are super sweet when you go in. The place is super clean, very beautiful and very classy. You feel like it's a spay when you walk in. But most importantly my tan has been really amazing each time - Dark but not at all unnatural looking - just beautiful! read more

I don't spray tan often, and this is the only place I've been to (3 times!), so I don't have anything to compare it to, but for me it's great! The studio itself is super cute too. I've had 3 different tan artists and all were great in making me feel comfortable. The first time I used the disposable underwear, but I didn't know that the back was crooked (and I also wasn't told...) so it left a weird crooked tan line in the back. After that I've gone nude but felt totally comfortable as the tan artists are skilled in conversation and distraction ;) Each time my tan has looked natural and I got tons of compliments. The third time, however, there was a weird streaky/splotchy part on the palm of my hand even though I used the barrier cream and she wiped my palms afterward. I guess I need to be more careful when I get home and make sure there's not any solution where I don't want it. I'll be going for a 4th time in a week to get nice and bronzed for my wedding! read more
