I've been visiting Sugar Nails for about 6 months after taking a long break from getting nails done. They are super friendly making sure you are comfortable for your treatments. Always offer water, tea, etc. I now request Jenny for my toes and Kathy for my nails. They are super efficient and my nails always turn out like I like, plus they last weeks!. I usually get dip...but they do everything, I'm just kind of basic. For an extra treat, I usually get a neck/shoulder massage and Linda is the best! Lastly, they have a no-fee ATM on site and if you pay cash, you earn rewards with their stamp card.

I had such a great experience at Sugar Nails and Lashes. From the moment I walked in, the space felt super clean and honestly so cute with the pink girly vibe. I started with their pedicure and it felt like a full on spa treatment. They offered complimentary drinks which was such a nice touch. The pedicure included a bath bomb soak, callus treatment, and an orange scrub that smelled amazing. What really stood out was that they steam your feet during the service and finish with collagen paraffin, hot stones, and a really relaxing massage. It did not feel rushed at all. After that I got Gel X and I'm really happy with how my nails turned out. The application was very clean and precise. I chose a cat eye design and the shine came out so pretty. Overall I would definitely come back. It felt like a true self care experience and everything from the service to the atmosphere was on point. read more

Victoria Nails is located on the corner of the small shopping center behind Miguel Jr's off Villa Park Road. My first time here is right before their renovation. I was greeted with a complimentary champagne & decided on the basic spa mani/pedi with callous remover. The music is very relaxing jazz vocals where I can sink into the experience. Linda did a great manicure and Anne did a beautiful French pedicure. Linda and Anne are so sweet. Lovely place. Victoria Nails is going under renovation Oct 1st - Nov 5th. The newly designed space is stunning--elegant decor, soothing colors, and a peaceful ambiance that makes you want to stay all day in their relaxing chairs. Which by the way have heated seats! The staff is incredibly friendly and professional Jovina is my go to but I'm sure all the techs are just as amazing as her. This is still my favorite nail salon. They have great nail technicians and it was newly remodeled last year. They have new massage chairs and a beautiful new decor. Grace the owner is also really nice and welcoming. They still give you a complimentary beverage but the champagne seems like it's better quality and comes in a nice champagne glass now! I am an old time client from Victorias Nail Spa but now they have changed it to Sugar Nails & Lashes. I had loved the previous owners but the new owner, Grace, is not only kind but her work is amazing!!! I wanted a simple new set red acrylic square gel and that's exactly what I got. She's very detailed and works with her heart and soul. She really takes her time on your nails and does an amazing job!! I will be returning back to do my nails again for sure!!! Found a great nail salon here Newly renovated, new interior, airy, bright space, jazz music all day I always choose the "Glorious Sugar Pedicure" package as my favorite package when coming here (once a month) Many beautiful nail polish colors, friendly and professional nail technicians, they can design many different nail styles according to your wishes I will definitely come back often You can ask Grace for a fancy manicure or ask Anna for a basic manicure or pedicure. read more

Anna and Kathy usually do my manicures and pedicures and I love that they take their time and are very detailed. They offer a wide variety of colors & gel options. This place did the opposite, my entire mood was ruined and I texted my husband throughout how awful of an experience I had. And she cut me twice and I started bleeding. Response to management: I specifically asked for builder gel, however she said I should really do gel x and I said I prefer the builder gel. As she began prepping my nail she asked AGAIN that i really should do gel x which i then responded "okay" because she kept repeatedly asking me even though i asked for builder gel specifically. This is not my first time at a nail salon. In addition, I never once said they were talking poorly about someone in their native language. I have worked with many a people and work in places that others speak comfortable in their native language. It is in poor taste of you as a business owner to assume I felt offended and or uncomfortable with people speaking in their native language. I visibly saw them point at a customer and them talking about how she didn't want to pay for gel despite agreeing to the serve. So please don't assume what I heard versus what I know to have happened, it is in very poor taste. Lastly, I have several pictures I can show as well where I was cut (twice on my finger nails) and once on my pinky toe which required the nail technician to have to stop the bleeding with a cotton ball.

The actual service provided (mani & pedi with gel) was actually pretty good...they were very helpful in helping us pick out colors & I have gotten quite a few compliments on my nail color. Unfortunately, the payment process was so tacky that I will never be back. If you are going to require payment in cash tell people! We didn't have an appointment but I did call ahead to see if they had availability to fit us in & nothing was mentioned about having to have cash. When it came time to pay they refused to take a credit card or a check & forced me to use their ATM machine. Perhaps I was stupid for not noticing the machine before but I have never been to this place & was a but frazzled when we first arrived. When I asked if the ATM would charge a fee they said "no it's for the customers"...wrong! I was charged a fee & had they of told me before I would have gown to the bank! I've been coming to this salon on and off for over a decade -- back when it was Victoria Nails, three owners ago! The original team was so warm and the vibe was always upbeat. When ownership changed, the energy shifted and after 10 loyal years, I moved on. Fast forward to now -- the salon is under new ownership (Grace) and it's better than ever! Grace is young, friendly, and totally up on the latest trends. The space is newly renovated, spotless, and filled with every color and charm you can imagine. Many of the original ladies are still there, which made it feel like coming home. I started a new gel builder routine for my nails and continue my regular pedicures -- everything has been perfect. I can't remember when I first found this gem. The first time I walked into Victoria's I was very impressed with everything about it. Like many others, I have tried so many nail salons so I know a good place when I see it. All I can say is what keeps me a loyal customer is the etiquette of the techs, the cleanliness, the attention to detail that goes in to making my nails gorgeous, and most importantly the customer service Trisha, Bobby, and team give. I've had issues in the past and they were all so nice to address it and made sure I was happy in the end. All techs are great, but my favorites are Angie, Tammy, and Vicky. Everyone knows that it's hard to find a good place with great service, great work, and an environment that is actually relaxing. Well look no further- Ask for Lynn, she's a wiz with acrylics. The complimentary drinks and snacks are a nice touch. It's not loud, nail techs aren't rushing you. They aren't "chismiando" in their language. I went to this nail salon to have a full set of acrylic nails and the lady that helped me who's name is Tammy hurt me so much. I eded up bleeding on 3 fingers. I told her she was hurting me bad and she some sord of ignored me and kept working on my nails. This has been the worse place I've ever been and not thinking on going back. I have gone through several manicurists that just can't "do" short nails, including many at Victoria Nails.
