High Recommendations for some local businesses! We used small businesses from all over WilCo including Round Rock for my son's 11th Birthday party! Everything was amazing! Sugar Mommy's of Georgetown provided bangin cake balls. I'd give 5 infinity if I could! All of the flavors are amazing and the cake balls are consistently good and flavorful. We've had almost every flavor and it's tough to pick a favorite. She does classes for birthday parties and also caters her fabulously decorated cake balls to weddings and other events. I found Sugar Mommy's via a reputable baker in Georgetown when I was looking for cake pops and she was on point! I have bought cake pops from Sugar Mommy's for more than one occasion. I bought them for potlucks, Bunco Night, Valentine's Day for my hubby and I treated myself for my own birthday this year. I'm a diva and for my birthday I wanted Hello Kitty Cake Pops! All you do is let them know what flavor cake and color icing and ta-da it can be done! Of course with a special order like that I was courteous and gave advance notice, this lady's shop is busy! Next year is my 50th birthday and now that I know that the shop does drip cakes, I'm already thinking of a design! Did I mention that her cake pops are moist and we had taken the Valentine's cake pops on a getaway with us and it was still moist and delicious? I have been stalking this place for months just waiting for an excuse to order some adorable cake pops from Sugar Mommy's. My daughters 5th birthday party was approaching and we went with a unicorn theme. We got a unicorn cake and unicorn cake cops for party favors. Not only were they the cutest things ever they tasted AMAZING!!! She even wrapped the cake pops in plastic and tied it with ribbons for me since I was using them as party favors! The best!!! We dropped in yesterday for the first time. From the moment we opened the door to that absolutely divine smell of cake we were sold. CJ was so friendly and helpful and the place was soooo adorable. It's a family friendly place which I love complete with bright, animal decor on the front porch. Terrible customer service. I went in there the week before Christmas to place an order for pickup Christmas Eve. The man told us not to place an order ahead of time because the flavors change and to just come in the day of. We went there this morning only to find they were completely sold out. They sold out the day before. Perhaps let your customers place an order like they originally wanted to and learn how to run a business. Lady there the second time was not helpful and didn't offer any kind of apology. Galaxy Bakery a couple mins away is a million times better and they will be the only ones getting my business from now on. read more
