This is a more laid back location. Huntsman Mall has a strange layout. If you go through the main entrance, this is across from the Giant inside. Odd but it works, and parking is plentiful. Nice and friendly employees. Always have appreciated them. There are new offerings, but I wish corporate could add exciting ones. Have become bored to a degree. Also inflation is no joke, and they aren't the bargain they were known for. The cookies are still delicious. This is a good location, and it is extremely clean. read more

Had a pretty unpleasant experience at this location today, which was frankly bizarre considering how straightforward ordering here should be (and usually is). I ask to order the "supreme meats" sandwich, but since I do not eat ham I asked if they could replace the ham with salami (noting that I could pay extra). They said this was not possible - which I guess is a policy but seems a bit odd considering how this process is so focused on customizing. But I said fine and just asked for the sandwich without ham and continued with the order. After adding the cheese and toasting the sandwich, the guy making it asked me what toppings I wanted and I said buffalo sauce. By mistake, he put ketchup instead of buffalo sauce and didn't realize until he was finished spreading it all over. It was an honest mistake and he apologized. I said that it was okay, it happens, and he proceeded to fix the sandwich. This is where things got weird. He threw out the cheese and meats that had the ketchup on them but kept the bread and the other toppings that were on it saying that he had to reuse those. The bread had ketchup on it at this point, but seeing that it was a small amount, I did not want to create a hassle and didn't object. He then said he would have to toast a new set of meat by itself and proceeded to do so. I asked if he could toast the cheese with them, since the whole point of getting cheese with it is so it would be melted. He said that it was not possible to toast the cheese when toasting meats by themselves, and that he could only add the cheese to the finished sandwich. At this point it had been a good 5 minutes since I ordered, I was getting bread with ketchup (that I did not ask for) on it, the meat was being toasted separately from the bread, and for some reason the cheese couldn't be melted. And, of course, I couldn't even add the salami I wanted in the first place. So I said I did not want to order the sandwich anymore, thanked him for his efforts, and left. Honestly I'm surprised by how calm I was through all this because thinking back, it seems like the most basic order was messed up in every way you could possibly mess it up. Long story short, I ended up leaving without a sandwich following several mistakes since I placed my order and a refusal to make things right. I'm pretty disappointed in how this went and am going to have to think twice about coming back to this location in the future (and will probably decide against it if I see the same guy taking the order). Maybe it was a new guy, or he was nervous from his mistake with the ketchup, but the fact that this could have just been avoided by remaking the sandwich (yet wasn't) is crazy to me. Although getting a sandwich is supposed to be simple, just the fact that I was bothered enough to write a review about it should reflect to you how unpleasant this experience was. read more

This is my go-to Subway place. The workers here are super fast, accurate, and courteous. It's a small, tight restaurant, but they keep the line moving fast. The downside is that it's a quick in-out because you gotta walk inside through the mall to get to it. read more

This is our neighborhood Subway, the go-to location when wanting a Subway sandwich. I would say it is a standard Subway. All of the regular Subway menu items are available and I have not made any special requests. I always select the Italian Herb and Cheese bread for my sandwiches. These days, that is a 6 inch Chicken and Bacon Ranch. Tweleve inches when I want to take half for lunch the next day. I'm happy that they serve brewed green tea iced tea. I come about hte same time in the evening and sometimes there is a line and sometimes not. There is always seating avilable for those who wish to dine there. Service is good. Sometimes better, depending on the counter person. The storefront faces an indoor mini-mall. read more

Thank you to the people at this Subway for going the extra mile to fix my order. You really made my day! I ordered sandwiches for delivery via the Subway app. One of the sandwiches was incorrect. Hoping to at least get a refund for the sandwich, I called the store and the very nice worker acknowledged the error and asked for my address, so that they could deliver the corrected order. Pretty normal Subway, it can get a bit busy during lunch times on the weekend with a few teenagers, but that's expected. I had an experience where my brother was overcharged by $1.50 for a $5-foot long (he was using my card) and the cashier forgot to give him the receipt. We only realized this after I asked my brother to go back and get the receipt (I mean COME ON! Who forgets to give/get the receipt!??) The cashier gave back the money in cash and reprinted the receipt. I took the customer satisfaction survey on the receipt to share my experience (gave low scores). I returned later to get my free cookie (for completing the survey) and the manager saw the scores I gave on my experience (I guess the scores come out as validation codes). This Subway is located inside the Huntsman Square "Mall". I don't live in this area, but travel and stop by once in awhile during my lunch break. I went there today around noon and there were a few people ahead of me. I was extremely impressed by the professionalism and efficiency of the manager taking orders. She was quick, courteous, and has a great memory. After seeing her deal with the orders before mine, I thought I'd test her by telling her what I wanted on my sub all at once and she remembered everything in the order I told her. I'm glad this is my neighborhood Subway. I've been to Subway's all over and I can honestly say this is the best. The bread is always fresh and the employees have never given me stale bread or bread that has been overcooked. You can physically see the employees refreshing the veggies- you're not given some sloppy dripping mess of pickles. The location does get a lunch rush, but the employees move the line quickly. I'll agree that the setup of the soda refrigerator is weird but it's just the location (narrow store,) there's nothing they can do about it. As to people saying they didn't get any coupons: if someone makes a mistake, they should correct it, not be expected to kiss your butt for eternity. All-in-all, this is my go-to Subway and the only location I go to in Northern VA. read more

I've been to MANY Subways in the northern Virginia area and in my opinion, this one is the best. Kim and her husband own this franchise--she trains her people so well. They are friendly, fast and efficient and Kim, who is usually near the register is wonderful. They keep their place very clean and the bread is always fresh. read more

This Subway isn't bad. I am giving it three stars because it is an average Subway, nothing more, nothing less. I did find the setup inside a little odd. They had a soda machine in a very awkward place and it made navigating through a little difficult. My wife and I each ordered a sandwich though and the girls were friendly, our sandwiches were made right and everything was good to go. Standard Subway, nothing special with food but I give them extra credit for the staff. They are always friendly and unlike many of the other Subway locations, they understand English and can communicate well. So the last two times I came here I got awful service, the first time I asked for banana peppers and the lady put lettuce and when I said I don't want lettuce I said banana peppers she just put the lettuce back with some pieces of lettuce on my sandwich still not caring at all and then she put green peppers on it and the same thing happened and when that happened I walked out. I have never walked out of a subway before this. I decided to give it another chance and the lady got everything right up to the honey mustard when she put regular mustard on it and walked out again.
