This place was huge and very accommodating, they were getting people to their tables fast! We noticed two empty seats at the bar, so we opted to take them and had the pleasure of being served by Robert. He was attentive, made sure our waters were always full. He gave recommendations on his favorite dishes and was all around a great bartender! The guy working the other end of the bar was equally as professional. The ambience is a dark cool vibe, little trendy but people were dressed pretty casually! Answer the most important thing...The food! For an app, we got the beer, cheese fondue that came with apples, bread and pretzels. The beer cheese had a little bit of ooomph to it, which was refreshing because usually I'm not a big mustard person. The pretzel bites were incredible crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The apples were fresh all around the appetizer for 3 to 4 people so we took extra home. I ordered the 10 ounce sirloin cooked, medium with the web sweet potatoes and a side Caesar salad for a three dollar charge which ended up being a full-size salad! It was super fresh and gigantic for a side salad. The steak was cooked perfectly, in the middle with an insane sear. Their house, butter that they put on it truly elevated the flavor profile. I tried the sweet potatoes mashed and they were enjoyable, but I do not enjoy a sweet side with my food so I knew I was going to donate them to my husband and he said they were incredible, the flavor was definitely there just not my cup of tea, but I knew that from the beginning . He got the Caesar salad with grilled chicken! It had so much flavor and tastes incredible but yet melted in your mouth it was the most tender chicken I've ever had in my life, and the flavor was all there! The chicken liver was beautifully battered and fried, so crispy and light. It was delicious dipped in the comeback sauce and with some Tabasco to mix things up. Sides were amazing also. The sandwich was good, but it definitely needed more of the sweet onion sauce. There must have been a shortage of sweet onions because they were apparently rationing that stuff. The loaded potato soup had really good flavor, but it wasn't even close to being hot enough. It was more lukewarm potato soup than loaded potato soup. Apparently, the potatoes got more of a warm bath than a hot tub. We also ordered the loaded potato chips as an appetizer, and they were good, but there seemed to be about half the cheese on them that there normally is. I guess the cheese was also on a budget that day. My wife ordered the quesadilla -- well, technically it was a quesadilla wrap -- which consisted of a very small amount of chicken and approximately 16 pounds of cheese. At some point, it stopped being a chicken quesadilla and became an extremely cheesy wrap that happened to have met a chicken once. We also had a house salad, which was pretty underwhelming. Honestly, it was more of a side salad pretending to be a house salad. And considering the amount of cheese in my wife's quesadilla wrap, I thought maybe they could have spared a little of it for the salad to give it some flavor and excitement. Our waiter was friendly and did an OK job keeping up with the refills, so no complaints there. We were able to sit outside, and it was HOT that day. Thankfully, they had fans running, which made it pretty bearable. The atmosphere was nice, as it usually is. Unfortunately, when you put everything together, this visit just didn't live up to our previous experiences. We've been here several times, and this was easily the worst one. I'm going to classify this visit as "jumped the shark." Maybe we just caught them on a bad day, but based on this experience, I'd eat somewhere else next time.

It is tucked away a bit from the main road, but if you walk back, you'll see it, there's a bit of indoor seating, ample outdoor seating, but you just have to help the weather agrees with you. It's really active because the amount of people hoping to try the sandwiches, and it seems like they do happen to run out of the meat for the platters and what meat is left, they prioritize using it on the sandwiches.
