I arrived here in a party of 5 around 10:20am on a Wednesday morning after checking out of hotel. You can easily miss the turn, which I did, to enter by the boutique. I had to go to the light and enter through the Murphy Express gas station. It wasn't busy. There were people who filled the bar area but all the tables except one was open. The only staff we saw initially was the cook. After a couple minutes, a couple waitresses appeared. Rochelle was our waitress but she didn't introduce herself. I didn't get anything to eat as I had leftovers from the previous night that I didn't want to eat. The order was placed around 10:26am. Both of the kids got waffle with peanut butter and chocolate chips. One got bacon and the other got sausage. The teenager and other adults got all star with scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. The waffles came at 10:33am and the sides came shortly after. Everyone enjoyed their food. One person's hashbrowns were a little over cooked and scarce though. We were done and left by 11am. 5:45 am and the Waffle House is moderately busy with two other tables occupied and two regulars at the counter. This morning's crew was quite active and getting food served quickly. My Fiesta Omelet was overstuffed and delicious as usual. I do wish that Waffle House would bring back the salsa. Since all they have for hot sauce is Tabasco, which is far from my favorite, I have to remember to bring my own hot sauce. The restaurant was as clean as I would expect from a Waffle House. The table was a bit sticky and the silverware was spotty. But this is the usual. You're not coming here for haute cuisine - this is Waffle House. The slightly less-than-clean is part of the charm. My friends and I came to TN for a vacation and we drove by this to check this out the next day or our visit. I had such an amazing time at TN and the food was so enjoyable here: We walked in and seated ourselves initially. The table wasn't clean, so the server came by and cleaned our table. After that; we were given menus to order. My friends and I ordered their fresh brew ice tea and that was SOOOOO GOOD. My other friend got the orange juice. We ordered food; steak & eggs, hash brown and eggs and bacon, 2 waffles( chocolate chip & blueberry ) and they were the best waffles I've ever had! They were unlike any other waffles I've ever had. To put it in words, it was crunchy and chewy and fluffy at the same time. Felt like it was heaven and I really enjoyed my breakfast this day. All .3 of us throughly enjoyed our breakfast and I would highly recommend it here. The prices are so cheap too which makes it 100% better! The service was amazing to say the least. We had a sever who was a mother telling all of us to stay safe since the day before we ate at Waffle House, it was raining, and places were flooded, and school was cancelled. She gave us an introduction to TN and told us to visit certain places. Told us what was opened and close and what to eat around town. I loved getting to know our server and speaking to her. She was so sweet and it was an unforgettable experience there. There's parking right out and its not too hard to spot a Waffle House here in TN. I'm from Chicago and there's not one here. :( All in all. I'll highly recommend this Waffle House and our server was so sweet and humbled. There was a sign posted on their door staTing safety procedures. We , the customers, felt it was Covid safe place to eat. Not the case. We watched as one of the servers wiped down our space where she used only a wet rag & never sprayed anything on our table. The rag was then thrown off to the side of their work area. She/server, handed me a lamented menu which I LATER discovered never get sprayed/sanitized down. (Had I known, I wouldn't have asked for one.) It was very busy but that is to be expected on a sunday morning, especially in a tourist town. It was pretty busy when my group got there, but there were a few tables ready to be cleaned off. People waiting for tables were ready to fight for an empty one, regardless of who was there first lol. Didn't take long for our server to take our drink orders, but afterwards it was RIDICULOUS. half of our meals arrived in a reasonable time, but we had to wait 15 minutes before going into the kitchen ourselves to ask for salsa and the other half of our meals. Then another 15 minutes to get another part of our meal. Then another 10 minutes for the rest to arrive, COLD. WTF. In a town that is flooded with restaurants and a fair few good ones to say the least... it is good to know that you can show up to an ol' tried and true favorite and have a 5* experience just like you can with a fancy restaurant dripping in ambience and costing 3 times as much. Why 5* for a Waffle House? Well easy! Great food. Consistently tasty (seriously, can anyone beat these pork chops??? I'd put them up against any steakhouse) Waffles that make it hard to choose between original and pecan. Texas cheesesteak sandwiches and hash browns that can be fixed a dozen different ways... and heaven forbid we forget the ooey gooey cheese eggs and raisin toast! Also must mention that Waffle provides consistently good sized portions. Consistently great wait staff that are courteous, helpful and attentive. The food is ready in no time and this particular WH is always clean. I'm super proud of our Waffle here on Winnfield Dunn Pkwy. However they do hang meat in here from time to time and unless it's morning and the sun is shining through the windows, the place is FREEZING, so bring a sweater. read more

The moment my family and I walked into this Waffle House the waitress and cook started giving attitude, slamming dishes, and staring us down. As I sat back and observed, I realized the problem they had was the fact that we were Asian. Then the waitress walks up to my nieces and says, what do you want to drink! Not five minutes later cook comes in slamming dishes and dropping the f bomb every five seconds. It was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Servers went to take another customers orders first even though we had already been waiting and seated first. Server even called out the other couples order before ours even though ours was taken first and we were here first. Sat for almost 15 minutes before we got our drinks.
