Came here on a Sunday night two weeks ago around 5:30/6. There was little wait time. Our server was attentive at first, but then didn't come back to refill drinks and had to ask a few times for jam and a bag for the rest of the cornbread. Anyways, food came out pretty quickly. I got the kid's shrimp with mac and cheese (love that kid's of all ages and small appetites can order from this menu as my Grandma used to do, but didn't love that the hushpuppy was left out boo). We always enjoy Cracker Barrel while on vacation. They're open late, and you can order breakfast, lunch, or dinner options anytime of day! We came in for dinner around 8:30pm. This location has a nice large parking lot and the service is very friendly. Our server, Isabella, was very helpful and attentive. We both ordered from the lunch menu, since it was so late and the dinner portions seemed like too much food. We ordered the French dip sandwich with fries and the lunch portion meatloaf with two sides. Both were good and very reasonably priced. Of course, on our way out to pay, we had to grab a couple novelty food items. My favorite is the pecan divinity and my husband's from their variety of bottled sodas. Would recommend! read more

Not sure why this location has such a low rating. This was one of the best Cracker Barrel experiences we have ever had and we have had Cracker Barrel in at least 7 states as we are military who move and travel a lot. We put in our name online and drove over to place it on the wait list in-person, so our wait was only about 40 min total. Our server was great and brought us biscuits before our food, which doesn't seem to happen often at Cracker Barrel anymore. She also brought a variety of jam not just grape, also unusual. Our food arrived promptly, was hot, and delicious. I'd say the bacon was slightly overdone, but I have yet to meet a bacon I haven't eaten and enjoyed. ;) The server, an older lady, asked what we were doing that day and brought us to-go waters since she knew we'd be in the sun all day. What a great restaurant right in the heart of pigeon forge. The location is great the staff is very friendly here and the convenience of takeout is superb. We were able to order a family breakfast which is good enough for six people but we bought it for our party of seven and had plenty of food to eat as well as utensils and everything needed for a hearty breakfast. The location like I said is very good located right next to the wax museum which has a building with Kong on it so it's a nice view. Parking is plentiful and they practice social distancing so it makes it very safe for covid times. Five Yelp Stars two thumbs up and a high five to the owners and staff and team members here. Oh me. It should have been a huge red flag when it was 7pm on New Years Eve and there were 10 cars in the parking lot. Our waiter, Mason, was friendly and knowledgeable to begin with. Our food care out quickly and looked great. Three out of our party of 7 ordered chicken and dumplings, two were luke warm. We are our meal with two empty glasses of tea and an empty coke. We did have four waters that were empty more of the meal than they had water in them. We also were never asked if we wanted biscuits or brought them. We will hit enough gift shops along the way. My father-in-law had mentioned that he had wanted to try the fried chicken at CB but they were out the last time he had gone to one. It turns out that the fried chicken is a Sunday specialty and we were there on a Monday. Most of us chose the CB sampler which includes ham [country or sugar cured], chicken and dumplings & meatloaf with 3 sides. I chose mac n cheese, a baked sweet potato and the fried apples. The ham was really small but tasty. REALLY SMALL. Everything was really delicious but the baked sweet potato was sooo good. Our waitress was good and the manager was walking around and showed my the secret to leaving 1 peg is the game board. Finally!!!! Good food at reasonable prices. My mother decided to have her wedding party come to this location, we called ahead and got a snippy response about that size party we had (21 people), was told there was no way our family would be seated in the same dining room? We decided to drive up here anyways and wait the estimated 30 minutes which turned into an hour, seating was apparently ready but really was not ready when we were brought to the dining room to be seated. The manager was very rude about accommodating us, even though we called ahead. We were waiting for their employee (our server) to arrive which apparently is what took so long. Service was really really good . Alexis was attentive and sweet. She was prompt and courteous BUT that's where it stopped. OMG what is with the foood??? The chicken and dumplings were dumpy and coagulated, the chicken fried steak was fried in old oil... you could taste it. The aftertaste was horrid. There is absolutely no excuse for a restaurant that has such a high turnover of food to have such a poor quality of product. The okra was good . The corn and coleslaw were good . The biscuits were like almost pucks and the cornbread was goodish. Overall very disappointing . I'm accustomed to a much higher quality of food at the Cracker Barrel's in Texas. Lesson learned .
