10/10 - A Hidden Gem in Newport!…read more If you're anywhere near Newport, TN, do yourself a favor and stop by Portofino! Our crazy group of 10 ordered just about everything: calzones, manicotti, baked ziti, chicken Parmesan, fettuccine, pesto chicken pasta, an Italian sub, chicken marsala, and spaghetti & meatballs--and every single dish was outstanding. There wasn't a bad bite on the table! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was exceptional, and the hospitality made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. Everything was cooked perfectly, served hot, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our large group had a fantastic experience. It's not often that 10 people all leave completely happy, but Portofino nailed it. We can't recommend this place enough. If you're in the Newport area and craving amazing Italian food, this is the place to go. Matisee did an amazing job taking care of us!!! Thank you!! We'll definitely be back!
