Good subs but a very f-ing rude manager she gets mad if the employees did a tiny thing wrong like very mad

Not eating here again. Team members were fine. Arrived around 11am on 9-11-2024. Shift leader is terrible. Ignores guests. Will not help team when busy. Ordered 1 sub, took 20 minutes. Why does it take that long to make a sandwich? Because the shift lead is busy having personal conversations, playing on her cell phone or hiding out in the bathroom. Lady was so rude! ...she literally cussed me out..She was probably having a bad day but still horrible customer service!

So this was our first time visiting this particular store, This whole week of February 2023 there are Commercials on television buy any sub get the second one free. So we went inside to confirm the address Two mean ole ladies started yelling at us that we moved to a new location so we said online it's showing 1039 Cosby hwy and those 2 ladies shouting at us and saying we don't know anything about online. Furthermore said you go ahead and placed the order if we get it we get it otherwise you don't get the Sub and loose the money. With the leap of faith we place the order and it came thru their machine and they hardly could read the order. We told them to change the gloves and both of them made a fuss sigh about it. Making us very uncomfortable, both of them are rude and biased. We told them that one sub is to go and the other is to eat here. The one to go had BBQ Sauce so it got wasted. The Subway is just sub-par. I keep giving them a try, and they continue to disappoint. Staff was disinterested and the bread was so hard. Didn't even heat up the meat in our sandwiches. I had to heat the meat myself when I got home. Sorry, Subway- I want to love you. The one at UT shows how it should be done. This one, not so much. The building is old but it's clean and nice on the inside. We had great service and food was good!

I order online. But!! You go in to get your order and you have to stand in line to get your order. Such a big hassle. I work in Knoxville and no hassle. This Subway chain has gone down sense they moved. The manager Ashley talks down to everyone. Even customers when you try to settle a dispute. Over the register is a sign that reads "Express Checkout". I ordered online so I don't have to deal with lines or people. I already checked out. I don't need to checkout. They store the orders in the back, unlike any other chain and your supposed to know before you enter the store to go to the checkout to get your purchased items you paid for online. Ashley was rude and condescending to me when I expressed my confusion. She sarcastically stated "the sign says express checkout". How do I know it's referring to my order I purchased online. I don't need to checkout. The whole purpose of online line ordering is to avoid rude and condescending people like her. She talks down to her poor staf apparently they are poorly trained in the first place. The food is always good but it's the same at all Subway chains. So, I'll start by saying that the restaurant is very clean. And also the food is good. With that being said, the girl named Terra that works there is hands down the most rude person I've ever had the displeasure of coming into contact with. She's so rude, that my fiancee and I refuse to eat there if she's behind the counter. She acts like a pissed off hood rat. Never anything but a scowl on her face.
