Step back in time, this place reminds me of ma and pa places where I grew up! No corporate back then. Half pound black Angus beef, burger, with lettuce, tomato, onion, and dill pickle, with crispy crinkled fries! Delish! You order at the window, or a carhop will come, no, inside dining, picnic tables. Heard their chili cheese fries are killer, and their shakes are rich and thick. Great prices, huge portions. I heard they've been around since the early 60's. read more

Such a confusing ordering system. Ordered windows don't open, but if you stay in your car and wait for 1 of the 2 employees to come take your order, they may skip you for other cars. I've had this happen on every visit to the establishment. I tend to go sit at a table and wait for them to come to me and get slight faster, less skipped service doing this. I do like the food and prefer a local place over a chain but there are so many things this place could improve on. 43 min for a cheeseburger and drink & asked for a large with no ice but got a small with ice. read more

Went to Debbie's today and ordered 3 chili dogs. Got home and opened them up to find only chili and a bun, no hotdog. Took them back and was told that there chili dog doesn't come with a hotdog in it. So what you are actually buying is a chili bun Even though it's listed on the menu under the heading "Hot Dogs". Just beware when you order, very deceiving! read more

Pull up and order the best burger and fries and they serve you at your car They do have couple picnic tables Order the larger burger Service is good sometimes busy but worth the wait read more

Food wasn't great. Onion rings were way over cooked, chicken was so hard you couldn't eat it, strawberry shake should have been vanilla because you couldn't taste any strawberry in it. Over charged us for our items. All in all I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. read more

1st time visit. Its been a long time since we went to a place that they actually come to your car to take your order. What fun! Food was great and the service even better! Best Banana Milkshake too! read more

Exactly what I was craving. Good classic American drive in food. Good portions, delicious burger

I wish there were more old fashioned drive-in restaurants like this. We had a group of 25 Scouts on a Saturday night after whitewater rafting. Most of our party needed to pay individually. The staff took good care of us. We had ample outdoor seating. The food was excellent! read more

Someone came up to the car instantly to take our order. Extremely polite and patient as she took our order and had to wait for my mom to make up her mind on food. I've eaten here before and had to come back for their chicken nuggets which are the best! We were one of the only cars when we arrived but the parking lot filled up before we even got our food. They stay busy because they're so amazing! read more

Fresh and tasty food. The service is fast and accurate. My husband and I love the view of the evening sunsets. read more

This is how I remember burger places from my childhood. The burgers were good and the fries and tots were hot and fresh. Your order iscooked to order. You don't go up to the window to order, a super nice server comes out your car to take your order. You never have to leave the seat of your car. Old school in all the best ways, don't be in a hurry. Hot fresh food takes a minute. I will be back. read more

Hamburger and tea was very good. the chili on the hot dog was the worst chili I've ever ate( I love a good chili dog).

My favorite place in the local area to go for a great grilled cheese (try it with lettuce, tomato and pickle)! The sides are always so good and SO fresh. The ice cream is literally the best! People are always very friendly and accommodating! read more

They just did some work and updating some. The prices have went way up again!! Hamburger fries and a drink $12 and only banana split in town $8. This use to be a cute little cheaper place not anymore read more

A real deal throw back drive-in along the old federal highway just minutes from the interstate. If you want real food, cooked to order, and killer walnut shakes, stop. If you want quick standardized fast food, don't. Debbie's is not quick but my group of five liked everything: single and double cheeseburgers, fried chicken sandwich, fries, rings, and tots. Really recommend the tater tots. Lots of food for not much cash. How can you go wrong? You can't! read more

Great place for food and service you really get your money's worth. There food is fresh, Everything was great.

Food good & service excellent! Get the cone of swirl ice cream. Fries and burgers a good and hot!

Best Hot Dogs!!! I haven't been able to find a good hot dog since I moved here several years ago. Finally!!! Thank you Debbie! I'm addicted!

You drive up and wait until they come to your car to take your order . Banana split & hot fudge cake are tasty

Been in business as long as I can remember. Food is great. Friendly service. Wait is a little long if busy but worth it.

It's a throw back to an era of maybe 50 years ago and the awesome roadside stands and the burgers, dogs and shakes you used to get! You don't exit your car, they come out and get your order and come back with bagged food. You can also call ahead, too! Prices are from another era, too! So low I was convinced the large menu board was simply not up to date...but it is! Fancy? No. Delicious? YES! Place you should put on your list to eat lunch and dinner? Yes again!! read more

Just ride by this place on a Friday night. There is no room to park. This says it all. Now you will need to be patient. It is worth the wait. Just an old fashioned hamburger place. I am from Aiken SC and we have the Blue Top Grill. So when I come up to Newport I always make sure that I stop at Debbie's at least one time. I cannot say enough about how much I like this place. By the way they will deliver. read more

They washed and painted the building. Now it totally deserves the 4 stars. We enjoy the nostalgia of the drive in. I hope you do as well.

They have great food and the owners are so friendly. I would recommend the hot dogs and the club sandwich. I would give them 5 stars but just a little bit high. read more

I gave it one star because I had to. The looks of it are great as a vintage drive thru. The waitress immediately came out to take my order but I waited for 30 minutes as I watched car after car drive up after me and got their orders before me. I never got my food and finally drive off, feeling very angry, frustrated and hungry. I won't be going back. read more

The banana milkshake is everything! Well...actually the chili is everything! I don't know. Can't decide. It was all so tasty. I'm so glad we took this little detour away from the interstate and stumbled up this non-commercial gem. If we ever travel that way again, we'll definitely go back. read more

This is the worst service I've ever experienced, I've called in several times, because if you don't your order takes 30 minutes, and the phones been busy. Today I realized why, I called in to place an order. They answered the phone I told them I needed to place a to go order, she asked me to hold. Then I heard her say, I don't have time to deal with this, she laid the phone down. I stayed on hold for 15 minutes after that I hung up, I kept calling to see how long the phone would stay busy. The phone stayed laying on the counter for over 45 minutes. This place could make good money if it wasn't for the terrible service. The owners need to get a clue read more
