The place was extremely busy with a line waiting for a seat, so when the bartender who took our order said it would be 40 minutes, we weren't surprised. We left to get some groceries while waiting and returned about thirty minutes later. We sat in our vehicle and waited. We saw the bartender come out and look at cars as tho looking for someone. We waited a few more minutes then went in. Our pizzas were on the bar. They were finished early. The issue we have is this: the bartender is the only one who will help at the bar. She was very busy but the staff around her wouldn't even look our way in spite of trying to get their attention. The pizza was already paid for and we just wanted to have it given to us and get it back to the cabin before it cooled too much. Didn't happen. 5-10 minutes later, we left with the pizzas. Seems they could have a better way of handling to go orders. The pizzas were tasty. The BBQ chicken could have stood a lot more chicken on it. Turns out the crowd knew something we didn't. I want to be fair: the staff was very nice, and the food wasn't horrible. Nobody ruined breakfast. Nobody served us something inedible. It was simply disappointing, especially for the price. I ordered the Crème Brûlée French Toast, which sounds like something that ought to make you forget every responsible decision you've ever made before 10 in the morning. It certainly looked impressive when it hit the table--French toast, strawberries, blueberries, whipped cream, syrup, the whole production. Then I ate it. There just wasn't much there beyond the presentation. For something called Crème Brûlée French Toast, I expected rich, decadent, maybe a little crisp caramelized magic somewhere. Instead, it tasted like fairly ordinary French toast dressed up for a night on the town. And it was way overpriced for what it was. Gatlinburg is a tourist town. I understand tourist-town prices. But if you're going to charge premium breakfast prices, the food has to earn them. When one breakfast place has people waiting outside and another a block away has empty tables, sometimes the best restaurant review is already happening on the sidewalk. They make sure to pile those sandwiches high with meat, and they move so quickly our food came out, not even 10 minutes after we put our orders in and we were starving so it was much appreciated after walking the strip in Gatlinburg. It is tucked away a bit from the main road, but if you walk back, you'll see it, there's a bit of indoor seating, ample outdoor seating, but you just have to help the weather agrees with you. It's really active because the amount of people hoping to try the sandwiches, and it seems like they do happen to run out of the meat for the platters and what meat is left, they prioritize using it on the sandwiches.

When reminded of something that was missing was met with an attitude and a half ass root beer float (ordered by family) that rung up at $10. The cheesesteak is terrible. The meat is tough (opposite of a real philly), the cheese wiz isn't true cheese wiz, and just cause of the size doesn't make up for it in taste. The fries aren't seasoned and aren't grand. taste almost like frozen potatoes. Burgers were nothing great either especially for a cheeseburger priced at $15. there isn't a whole lot of room to sit anywhere, so the atmosphere is tight and can only imagine when truly busy.
