I am literally sitting inside subway as I write this review. Horrible customer service and rude employee. They forgot the cheese inside both the sandwiches. They made one sandwich completely wrong adding ingredients I didn't order and not adding ingredients I did. This is very dangerous for someone with food allergies. I ordered through the app so there shouldn't be multiple mistakes since they have it typed up for them and not verbally told to them. There were two employees working on November 21, 2021 at 4:10pm. Employees are one male and one female. I don't like throwing away food especially when someone incompetent can't do their job right and then give attitude when a customer complains that they received something they didn't order. Everyone keeps on blaming Covid and telling customers to be nice but if employees did their job right and had better customer service there wouldn't be anyone being rude back or complaining. I don't like throwing away food so the solution was that they gave me cold cheeses to sprinkle on my toasted sandwiches. Good thing I sat down to eat it there otherwise I would have noticed at the hotel. Sandwich was soggy even though I grabbed it the second they put it on the shelf. Awful Service! We stopped by here at 9pm and there was no one behind the counter. After 5/7 minutes a male employee comes out of the bathroom. He was extremely angry and was throwing the subs and knives on the counters. Not sure if he received some bad news before we entered but he was visibly ticked off. The toppings for the subs were slight and there were veggies I could not get on my sub because he refused to restock them. The chocolate chip cookies tasted like overly seasoned bread with an Italian seasoning taste. They were awful. Excellent Customer Service and food! I normally do not write reviews for Subways but I had to for this one. I got there a minute after closing time, although I thought they were open later. Even though the door was locked there were a couple of employees inside. As I motioned to one of them, she came over and opened up for me. Not only that, she said the sandwich would be free of charge. I ordered a 6" roast beef (didn't want to be greedy) and it tasted delicious. I even made it a combo (chips and drink) and that was free too. I must give a shout out to the owner, Veronica, who made this offer to me and my sandwich. She moved down from Miami last year with her business partner to make a go of it in Key Largo. Please support this business. I sometimes forget that there really is no fast food in the Keys, even they are slow AF. This place is truly on island time! If you want a nice relaxing lunch and are in no hurry this is the place for you! The worker was extremely rude and when asked about the types of salads they served, she just gave me a face. The managers, I believe their names are Brennan and Teresa are super helpful too, a disable such as myself sometimes has trouble, and they are super friendly and helpful! Thursday June 22nd @8:35 PM I went to this subway and noticed only one worker was in back. He came out very nice, unfortunately he was so new he didnt know what a spicy Italian was I helped walk him through he apologized saying he was just starting and his co worker left him. I was very understanding... he was so new he didn't know where anything was in the store and shouldn't of been left alone... I asked for soup he couldn't find a lid so I told him to not worry about it and forget the soup it wasn't his fault... when I left the other worker was outside with a bag full of groceries talking on the phone ... what is your policy on leaving new employees alone ? I am a very understanding person if I wasn't this could of been escalated... someone needs to look at the tapes and research who left him alone ... and why nothing was properly stocked... read more

I am always pleased when I travel to Key West and stop at this location. The food is always fresh and my order is always correct. Shervetta is the associate who assist me. She is always professional and gives service with a smile. She remembers her customers which makes it worth while.
