Just a standard Subway. Good clean sandwich shop. We got a sandwich and a philly cheesteak wrap. Wood was great, but we were hungry too.

Not open at 11pm. Please update business hours. Would've enjoyed eating here but I guess truck drivers don't matter to your business.

I was buying a sandwich and asked for two WATER cups (clear plastic type), one for me and one for my mom. I was rudely refused the second because it "costs 6 cents" and there's "only one per sandwich". This was from the manager/owner who was working the register. Clearly their business is not doing well if they cannot spare 6 cents, I regret paying for my sandwich. I went to Subway expecting to have my sub my way, but did not, unfortunately, have it my way. Monu was really nice but they only ever seem to have white and wheat bread when I stop in. Seems to be a family owned franchise, like half the businesses on the 5. Average slow Subway speed. Interior looked clean but really dated. read more

This place is on hwy 5 ,and, is the place I stop at when traveling to Las Vegas. This is one of the worst Subway locations there is. The service is normally pretty bad, but it has sunk to new depths. It is mainly from the owner (I'm assuming), a bearded gentleman that is recognizable due to having one arm. I've seen him deny customers a daily deal to save 20 cents, berating them the whole time. Unfortunately today, I was the recipient of such abuse. After one of his employees confirmed my deal was valid, she made up my sandwich. Then as he began to ring up my order, he flatly denied my deal (I signed up for weekly text message deals - this weeks was a free drink and chips with the order of ANY footlong). He made a bogus claim that he was giving me a new deal by selling me the footlong for 20 cents cheaper than advertised, thereby invalidating the deal I had claimed. I told him to just charge me the normal price for a sandwich so that I could get the deal. He rudely refused. So I walked away, leaving him with my completed sandwich. Only then did he start to offer me the original deal. Which makes it very clear he is running his business like so many insurance companies, seeing how many people he can bully into paying more through the strong arm of inconvenience. Horrible subway. 1. The women's restroom door slammed shut on my 3 year old niece and could of broken her arm or caused a lot of damage. The men's restroom door had a mechanism that controlled the slamming shut of the door. The women's restroom did not. 2. They did not have meatballs for meatball sub at 12pm and kids meal backpacks 3. Waited for about 10 minutes while the girl behind the counter slowly made a sandwich while chatting about MySpace with the customer before me. Some of that time she was just standing there waiting for the toaster & gabbing. Eventually she said she would be right with me, and I waited a few more minutes. When she finally got around to me, they were out of every bread except white & wheat. She kept talking to her friend, started putting stuff on my sandwich without asking me. I had to stop her a couple of times, even after she said, "you said you wanted everything on that, right" which I did not say, and told her this, though it didn't register. Once it was finally made and I got to sit down and eat it, it was ok. Then, I used the restroom. One word: gross. If I thought there was anything else in the area that didn't contain fried food and stocked veggie options, I would have left after 5 min waiting in line without much of a line! When I stopped here, the line was long and the workers were slow. One even had his airpod in and was barely listening to customers. When one of the customers asked about an catering order he placed they stared at him with confusion for so long. After my very much stale sandwich was made, I went to get my drink. None of the sodas were working. My lemonade was watered down, and the sprite was just water. After that I went to the bathroom and oh my gosh. It was nasty. There were three stalls and two of them were absolutely disgusting and look like they have been like that are a long time. When I went to the one stall that was decent, it flushed and sprayed everywhere!!!! Don't go to this subway. The staff is slow, the food is gross and stale, and the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. read more

Well, it is a convenient stop off the 5 freeway, and it is clean. That is about it. We didn't come during a lunch rush, but the service was still really slow. It is a mark of bad training and a kindergarden fail when you cannot listen to instructions and obey them. If I say I want something on half of a sandwich, that is not a difficult request, and I have never had another Subway screw that up. Learn to listen please. read more

It's a subway on the side of the 5 freeway. It was ok. Pretty clean and food was ok. Bread did not seam fresh.

The customer service was the worst. I have worked for subway just recently and in my store they emphasize on customer service. Smile, not at this store. I had to repeat myself multiple times and the food looked like it was really old. The servers didn't speak very good English if the spoke it at all and in the middle of making my sandwich they were talking to each other in their native language. That's very rude and disrespectful. No bread at and the chips looked like they hadn't been filled in days. I wonder if temps for the meats where taking at all that day. Ok my fellow travelers. READ THIS ONE. if planning at stop here for subway. I eat subway 4 to 5 times a week on the last 2 years because an xtreme health condition so I know their customer service standards. Subway is 4 but this location Is -4. I can't believe employees do a better job than owner when dealing with customers. Still employeed have a hard time to keep up with instructions but they Are trying and that matters.. but ownrr. Well they have a coffe dispenser out for customers to serve themselves. I got up for an extra coffe as a refill. I know I assumed wrong. Cause not refills allowed. But then I hear from mr owner using "one hand" "Sr. You can't get another coffe, what makes you think a $3 brakfast with coffe includes a second coffe? A cookie and a coffe alone is $3" I was shocked and even worst inbarased beeing in front of lke 5 customrrs in line They all turned and look. Can you believe the corp deals with this peaple giving franchises just like that. Its not about the cost of the coffe but his attitude and customers service. I then took a deep breath as I'm a calmed person. Headed to him and paid for a second Coffe. Decide to confront him after everybody left...a nd I did. I did not want to emberrase him back. But I thknk I did in front of his emoyees. I won't get in to that. They use the smallest ice-cream scooper I've ever seen and scoop only 4 times for the $8 Foot Long Tuna. What a rip-off.

We had an awful experience here. We stopped to use a coupon we received in the mail. We often enjoy subs from our local subway, but this store was terrible! They didn't honor our receipt so it was pointless, but even if they had it wouldn't be worth it. We were told they were out of every single kind of bread except flat bread, which was gummy and sodden so bad it stuck to the wrapper like glue. Yuck. The toppings were very scarce, probably half of what I'd receive at any other Subway. However, one of the employees took her lunch break while we were eating and her sandwich looked great, full of plenty of veggies and on a toasted wheat bread. Not sure why they can't offer good sandwiches to their paying customers? They are certainly capable. Also, two of the fountain drinks were out of order. Stay away from this Subway. We ordered a couple of footlongs and were told that only Pita bread was available. When my wife asked them if they have any other kind of bread, the reaction we got from the girls at the counter was shocking to say the least. It was condescending and rude. Before we could recover from this surreal encounter, they were telling us that the place gets incredibly busy, and it takes 1.5 hr to make the bread, etc. etc. We looked around, and there was one other customer in the store! I am not sure what to make of this place. After reading all the bad reviews you really don't need mine but I need to get this out. We stopped in today for lunch, tired and hungry. My daughter and I each ordered a salad and asked the girl to put them in a wrap. She didn't understand what I was asking for and just put the wrap bread on the side. I thought ok I'll just put it in myself! She then started to ring up the total and seemed to be having some trouble. She turns and goes to speak with someone in the back, comes out with a man whom I assume is the manager. He rings up a total several times over. A few minutes go by and my daughter and I are beginning to wonder what in the world is going on. He finally looks at me with a straight face and says that will be $28 something I don't remember the exact total, nearly $30. I said "for two salads?" He was rude and combative, defending the total! I just looked at him in disbelief and said "you can keep them". We turned and walked out. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

Worst Subway I've ever been at. Rude costumer service. The ingredients aren't fresh. One particular lady gave me the biggest stink eye, when I asked her to put my sauce on my sandwich after she forgot to put ranch on my bacon ranch sandwich. I would give this place 0 stars if it was an option. Initial impression the lady helping us didn't seem very friendly. They didn't have any jalapeño bread made, understandable, I ordered wheat instead. I asked for american cheese, they don't carry it! Seriously? Ok, I asked for pepperjack instead. She finishes my sandwich super sloppy, with a big blob of mayo on one side. I proceed to order a kids meal for my son, who can't intake more than 4 oz dairy, since his sandwich has cheese I get juice instead. At this point the lady proceeds to tell me that I can't get the juice because it's too "expensive," I thought I heard wrong so I asked her to repeat herself, I heard right the first time. At this point I was furious, I told her I didn't ask her how much it costs because obviously I have money & can afford it. Then she said "it's a lot of $$," really??? It's $1!! This was the worst Subway I have ever been to!!! Here's the way it happened. My girlfriend, myself and our three girls stopped here on our way back from L.A., we stop in Buttonwillow for a "health" lunch. A six inch sandwich, which they offer on TV every day. The girl behind the counter begins to take our orders. 5, 6 inch subs please. As she is making our sandwiches, my daughter (who was VERY hungry) notices that her sandwich was MUCH small then the other 4 sandwiches. So, I double check to make sure she is not making a kids meal, she says no, this is how our bread is made. ????. How can you offer a six inch sandwich for a certain price and try to give you a 4 inch sandwich claiming that it is exactly the same as a 6 inch. What's the logic in this? So I let her finish that sandwiches, because apparently in this shop, the customer is never right. I then compare the small sandwich with the others and it was OVIOUS that there was a HUGH difference in the sizes. I then took the sandwiches up to the counter to show the HUGH difference to the lady that made the sandwiches and she STILL had to fight with me until the manager finally made a new sandwich. It was SO ridiculous and embarrassing for that store. I am a business owner and have been for 20 years. I would never, ever treat a customer this way, especially over a $4 sandwich. Also, besides the rudest, stupidest bunch of Subway workers I have ever met, and we eat at different Subway A LOT. Also, 90% of their tomatoes were white, hard and bitter. I wish I could show you a picture of the veggies on our sandwiches. I did take pictures it was SO bad. NONE of the tables were clean, regardless of how much time they spent arguing with customers. Don't forget, if you go here, you HAVE TO PAY to use the bathroom. The whole place is a ridiculous excuse for a SUBWAY, with a manager that OVIOUSLY only cares about skimping on their products and taking people for every dime he can get.
