I stopped by this Subway on our way to Fresno. I wanted a quick snack to fill me up during the drive. My goal was to get a bag of chips. When I walked inside, they were not busy at all. I was the only customer inside and the lady working was prepping the bread. I looked at the options of chips but then saw some cookies on display. So I wanted the chocolate chip cookie instead. I didn't see any on the display but the lady working told me they just came out of the oven and was hot. So I got one of that cookie as my snack. Huge props to the kind guy who helped me with my sandwich! I wish I could give higher stars just for that but, I think you should be deterrred from stopping here on the I5 literal cockroaches, bad bathrooms, broken door... it defintely needs some love. If you make an online order they skip you to attend to walk-in customers defeating the purpose of ordering online so you can just grab your food and go. Now when you get to their location you have to wait for them to finish with the walk-ins before they even start on your order. They update your order in the app as "In Progress" when they've never started on your order. Also, their restroom stinks so bad like it's never been cleaned since the day it was opened. We should have read the reviews prior to going in to this Subway; but, it is right next to the Tesla charge station. This is the worst run Subway I have ever seen. They were out of items for the sandwiches, including different kinds of bread which are advertised on their menu and cheese, which went into the sandwiches we ordered. This place might be my new go to stop replacing the now touristy Laval road rest area. Not as crowded and some decent restaurants off Rosedale. I'd have to pretty much agree with Lisa's review just below. The food and service we got from two ladies behind the counter was good and the food was good as well. The seating area was basic for a Subway that wasn't part of a gas station. With that Tesla charging station right behind it, they should up their game a bit. "Slow but Nice." The poor lady working behind the counter is working like a slave to try to keep up with the customers and the baking. Understaffed, but very friendly. I feel sorry for her. On the other hand, the sandwiches are the same as you might expect. Today I ordered the turkey breast on sourdough, paired with a Diet Coke. Perfect for the road. Employees were wearing face masks and gloves (gloves while handling the food) and not talkative. They have some sort of plastic thing that is hanging from the ceiling down to about the middle of the chest area to shield the employees and the customer. It's surprising how bad their customer service is. They don't tell you if they're out of certain toppings before they start making your sandwich. The female employee who made my order was extremely rude and kept rushing so much. When I asked for cucumbers she said "we don't have it, what else?". Used 1/4th of avocado, all other subways use half avocado. After all this, they show an option for tip, I have never been more glad to leave a ZERO dollar tip before this. This location's store make sure customers don't return. I am a business owner, I travel between CA and NV alot, I always look for regular spots to stop, this ain't it. A quick stop while on my way to Sacramento. The lady who works here was friendly, the meats & veggies all looked fresh. The tuna sandwich I got was delicious. However the reason for the 3 stars is due to the restroom. Once you walk in it reeks of urine, the toilet & urinal looked like they were not maintained in days. I thought this place was fairly nice for a Subway and the service was quick, the food tasted like Subway and not some other crazy variation they end up having in the middle of nowhere and the employees were friendly. You really can't beat their $5 foot-longs, even despite the quality of ingredients Subway uses. Three stalls: -- One door can't close (too tight by over 1/4") -- One door closes but can't lock because the bolt is over an inch lower that what it needs to connect to. -- That leaves one stall.
