My wife and I stopped by this Starbucks for our rest stop on our way to Fremont. My wife was craving her chai latte so this Starbucks was on our route. We came in the early morning so they weren't as busy. When we walked inside, my wife was able to place her order for her iced chai latte and I just got iced water. She took our daughter to the bathroom to change her diaper but this location doesn't have a changing station in their bathroom. So my wife changed our baby diaper inside Starbucks sitting area. My wife like her iced chai latte, they changed the receipe but the barista was still able to make it the old way for her. Our drinks came out quick and the customer service here was amazing. She got her mom the jalapenos chicken pop and they both like that. read more

Since I'm the one driving this next leg of our road trip to Vegas, I need me some coffee to keep going, especially after eating ribs for dinner! This Starbucks is located right across the street from the big TA truck stop and next to a Subway, if you need something like that. Can't miss it. We do the indoor ordering cause I need to get on the WiFi quick to check some work stuff on my laptop. One last pee stop works too. Service is fine, just a black coffee fill up for me in my big thermos thingy I have. Keeps my coffee hot for a a couple of hours or more. I think you save 10 cents if you bring your own cup or whatever. WiFi is good and I get stuff checked. OK, It's off we go again on the road. This Starbucks is one of our approved stops along the highway 5 corridor. Its clean restrooms, convenient parking, and safe location makes it nice. Starbucks is usually well staffed with multiple baristas to handle all the orders. There is a media board that lists your order in place in line and the baristas that is making your drink. The drink was standard for Starbucks, but I felt like they were a bit heavy handed on the ice. Seating available inside and outside. Modern as most Starbucks locations are. Parking is plentiful. Self service station is by the trash sorting area. Half & half, oat milk, sugar, etc was stocked. Bathroom wasn't the cleanest and the soap ran out, but they were busy at the counter. The drive up/down 5 can be boring. It's a grind but we make the most of it with good eats and yummy snacks. We stopped here for Subway for lunch and I hopped into this Starbucks (next door!) for an iced drink It's a standard Starbucks, although they likely remodeled somewhat recently. Not all locations have the screen that shows that your order is received/in progress/ready. The bathrooms looked clean but one stall was out of toilet paper. The other stall had TP but was out of seat covers. My drink was ready quickly and they had written "enjoy!" on it. Nice touch! Will come back here! read more

Prompt and friendly service, plenty of parking, not too crowded, clean interiors, cheerful décor, and clean bathrooms, plus the usual SBUX food and drinks. Very nice store conveniently located just off I-5 in the center of California. Inside seating is limited but most people are restroom and getting drinks/food to go. The staff handles the line well as it ebbs and flows between packed and breaks in the foot traffic. The interior of the store is clean and cared for decor and fixtures. The keep up on the floor cleaning and general maintenance. Enjoyed a nice strawberry açaí refresher in a personal cup while I did a break from the drive reading. This location is a mess (literally). The bathroom floor was covered in urine, there was a bag of trash in the stall, and the urinal was out of service. As far as service, it took forever. I ordered ahead and I still had to wait 10 min longer than the estimated time. I definitely would no recommend this location. read more

But apparently if you wait in line to order and wait to receive it but you forget to ask for a cup of ice to go with the can drink you bought, as well as some cake and another coffee you have to get back in line to order the cup of ice and wait for all other orders before you to get that cup of ice. Came by for coffee the other day and it was a mediocre experience. This location is located off the I-5 and features electric car charging stations along with a drive-thru. Bathrooms are available to all without a code, although the female bathroom was out of order including a "stay out" sign pasted in front of the door...a touch tacky... Mobile ordering was available and my drink was ready after using the loo. Some baristas also wore a mask with their Starbucks apron and name tag. Ordered an iced mocha and it had a ton of ice. The espresso was decent. Pricing was elevated, on par with a convenient location, right off the I-5. They do take Starbucks gift cards for payment. read more

Buttonwillow, CA. As far as Starbucks goes, this one is typical, the coffee was good even if the latte's were a bit weak. The line moved efficiently and the two beverage makers were cranking them out. The order taker was polite and actually smiling, something not typical for employees of this corporation. The restroom was reasonably clean, which is probably a constant chore for any restaurant along the I 5. No fault of Starbucks but there is a huge fly problem in Buttonwillow. And the situation is not helped by customers holding the door open when entering and exiting. For that reason we did not linger long here in spite of the air conditioned room. It was 90 degrees plus outside and the air quality was horrible. We retreated to our car, sipped on our caffeinated beverages and enjoyed the AC in the car while it was finishing up charging. read more

It is near Taste of India, which is another spot I highly recommend. You do not need a code for the bathrooms, and each has several stalls- so there's less reason to wait. read more

Just a typical Starbucks located in a high traffic area next to the highway. For what it is, they do a good job of keeping the area clean. The workers push through the ebbs and flows of customers and are courteous about it despite the pace. They are "short and sweet" to make sure they get through the busy traffic. Why the 2 star review you may ask? Well, this is the first Starbucks I've run across that ran out of ALL paper products in their restrooms. No toilet paper or seat covers. Plus the restrooms were a mess. I can't even recall running into any establishment during COVID that ran out of TP. You can do better management. Make sure your inventory is stocked! read more

Not only did she get snippy when I kindly reminded her about my food item, she refused to provide venti iced water and said "we only do grandes." Ok I go to enough locations and have been here at least a dozen times to know she was lying through her teeth. The cherry on top was the fact that she made my drink as a venti when I had ordered a trenta. I wish I noticed it before I left, but I probably would've risked her tampering with it or giving me more attitude. Only reason it's not a 1 star is there are some sane adults (besides Sabrina) who work for Starbucks and refunded my whole order. Edit: looks like Sabrina isn't the poster child of customer service. Last July 25, 2025, we were in a very bad accident in Buttonwillow. To wait for our ride to go to the Los Angeles area, we stayed in the Starbucks Buttonwillow in I-5 for 4 hours! The staff especially Angelica, Giusella (hope the spelling is correct), Gilbert and the other staff (I forgot to get their names) were very accommodating and gracious to us. We keep asking for ice for our bumps but not once any of the staff minded at all. We did not have any phones, credit cards, money with us since all those things burned together with our van. They offered us whatever we wanted and let us use the store phone many times to communicate with our family. When our family finally arrived and preparing to leave, Giusella insisted on taking $8 from their tips to help us since they know we did not have any with us!!! It was so heartwarming to know there are very very good people still around and we will never forget their kindness. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS. God bless you all. The ladies are on some weird behavior here at this Starbucks. Who doesn't allow you to order at the window when no one is behind you?

Along the trip home from visiting family up north and we needed a little caffeine accompanied by a nice coffee roast on our taste buds. Not exactly what we got on this Starbucks visit. This location didn't have a lot to offer or at least they didn't have most of the items we ordered from the Starbucks app. Guessing no one was available to keep up with updating the app for what was available at the location? Or maybe it was just a glitch in the matrix. When I stepped in for a bio break, there was even one employee who courteously requested I reposition myself so as to keep the their work area clear as I was waiting to use the restroom, by saying "You can't stand there sir, because we need to get through". I thought I was cognizant of my surroundings as I try to practice courtesy for others but apparently this was not the case. Maybe I was a little punchy as a result of the long drive?
