This is my go-to cheat day coffee spot. The girls are super friendly and always happy to greet you with a smile on their faces! The lines can be long, but they are fast moving so you aren't usually stuck in line too long. As for the drinks-- delicious! BUT not somewhere I go often because this is a caffeinated dessert spot, not a coffee shop! All the flavored drinks are going to be followed with a sugar crash lol.. I love every drink I have tried here, but I don't get em unless I'm having a total cheat day lol All in all, great little spot! I finally started coming here after driving past it for a year. Pros: Service is great and personable. The girls are super sweet and are able to talk to two customers at a time. It's a talent. I prefer their coffee here to most places. They also have fun, unique flavors, and the girls will make a drink to your tastes if requested. -Price is also good. I ordered two large coffees the other day, and it was under $12 bucks. Cons: Because there is usually only one person working at a time, wait times can be long. They can't really control the sugar levels in your coffee. They can try, but there isn't a percentage system like in some other places. I might need to try their other flavors, but unlike their coffee, their tea isn't great. I'm not a fan. I have never had more fun waiting at a drive-through. If you have a chance to stop by, it's worth it. I may do an update when I have a chance to try their food! read more

Drove up there was no line and was a little awkward about a women in school girls skirts and thongs making my order but, they were soooo polite and patient. This is basically a Hooters coffee shop but NO warning and the barista outfits are terribly ugly. Our server was wearing a string bralette with boyshort underwear... while pregnant. I've seen women in Vegas wear more clothing and way better uniforms at Hooters! Anyways, as far as the food and drinks go.... I ordered a Large Mocha Latte and their French Toast Bagel Sandwich. The Mocha Latte was just decent. Like many other reviewers, I felt like it was lackluster and mine was bitter and/or burnt. I was honestly surprised that it wasn't sweet at all. And the French Toast Bagel was not good. The idea sounds great on the menu, but it is executed awfully. The bagel itself is good, but the sausage patty and egg is too small to full cover the sandwich. They should make the bagel smaller or make the egg and sausage patty bigger because the first bite is just thick dry bagel - nothing else. They also put "bacon" on, but it was more like Canadian bacon because it was soft and had a bunch of jiggly fat. They should just use regular crispy bacon. Overall, I rate it 1/5 stars. We went here thinking it was still Java Detour. It's not. We decided to give it a try anyway. I don't care about the servers in bras. It's fine. My problem is that the regular Classic Coffee tasted burned, as if it had been on a burner all day. It was after 2pm, so maybe it had been brewed in the morning and left on the hot plate. I expect that from a waiting room, or the drunk tank, or my MiL. Not from a coffee place. The coffee tasted old and burned. When we got back to work, my husband poured out his entire Large cup. I finally went to Bottoms Up coffee and I loved it! It's a drive up spot with only 1-2 people working and 2 windows, so be prepared to wait a bit if there are cars in line. The first time we visited we pulled up she was already serving the 1 car, so we got helped pretty quickly. Our barista wore a nurse outfit to work, I think her name was Gabby? She was really patient with us newbies and helped us pick out drinks and the coffee itself there. As she warned us, the coffee is stronger than Starbucks! It was so much better than the super sugary, not so coffee ish coffee we get at Starbucks. We have been back a handful of times since the past few weeks because the coffee is.pur favorite on the west side now and the girls who work here so far have all been very kind and helpful! I know many people are sucked into the drama of the gimmick that they wear bikinis and lingerie, either going there for that or NOT going there because of that. Got a medium vanilla latte. I'm surprised to say it was delicious!! Smooth and perfect temp!! I didn't have much of a wait. Starbucks that is adjacent to this, is new, they are always slow and they mess my order up all the time. I'm always in a hurry and that location isn't conducive to me stopping there any longer. I've never been to a coffee place like this. So, I stayed in Bakersfield for a few nights and wanted a coffee, and close to my hotel was a drive-thru coffee place called Bottoms Up Expresso. Yes, there was a Dutch bros and Starbucks close by, but they are everywhere. I wanted to try a different place. Ordered my drink and pulled up to the window , I saw the barista was dressed in a t-shirt and her underwear. I guess this is the big deal of this coffee shop. I personally didn't care. My drink was great and the batista was friendly. I would definitely go back again if in the area. It beats going to the same old coffee joints. read more

I liked this place. I decided to give it a try after my friends and I talked about this place the night before. I pulled up to the drive up window slightly embarrassed of what I was about to see....Barista in a bra and mini skirt. Boy did I feel bad as i'm bundled up in a parka. After browsing the menu, I was still unsure of what to order. The barista was so incredibly helpful. I normally like to drink black coffee and refrain from anything too sweet. The barista recommended that I ordered the blonde monkey for my pal and an Americano for myself. I then added a Pizza bagel deal for $2 more. I had a sip of my friend's Blonde Monkey and it was interesting. However, my friend enjoyed it very much. It is white coffee with a hint of banana. I must add that I do have a slight allergy to bananas so 3 sips was just enough for me and i'm glad I didn't order it. Americano was average, nothing special. The price is a little steep, but you're getting a very large cup of coffee. 24 oz yo! I think it was like $5 something for the Blonde Monkey and $3.75 for the Americano. The bagel was a solid 3 stars. Typical, nothing special. Nice balance of sweet and salty. Overall, the highlight of this experience was the customer service. I went in today at 8 am and forgot the name of the barista. Kudos to her anyhow. read more

My hats are off to these lovely ladies. They are working it and I truly do not understand why this place is not packed ALL the time. I mean, come on.. hot girls, scantily attired, and serving up tasty coffee and always pleasant. You would think there would be a long ass line. It confounds me, The only thing I can think of, is that people are too uptight... because the coffee is better here than at some of the other local locations. The only cons are that it closes early and it is way on the other side of town. Come on people... these ladies are out here first thing in the morning and it gets cold as hell out here... and they are still smiling and friendly. Give them a little support. Personally, I think that whoever came up with this is genius. I bet they would do great in L.A. I am never really out on that side of town, or else I would come here more often.
