I asked the barista if she'd recommend it with energy, lemonade, or with coconut milk. I'm glad that she recommended trying it the way that it is first. I'll be honest, all Starbucks refreshers kinda just taste like glorified caprisuns (that I will happily consume anyways). The service at this Starbucks location is excellent and quick. I do not know a reason why anyone would go to Bakersfield, however if you find yourself in that place, this Starbucks can probably make your life a bit better (if it even possible in Bakersfield). This is my third time here and this place delivers consistently great service experience. Friendly, fast, clean, and instead of calling your name when your order is ready, they actually bring it to your table. This is probably the second Starbucks I know off that does that. It also has lots of seating options with tables that welcome here to come and sit and stay a while, unlike many in town that want to not even have you come in. The baristas greet everyone and if they don't make your change perfect the first time, they gladly remake it. So a thumbs up on the service. read more

This is my go-to Starbucks. It's conveniently located in a shopping center with tons of stores and restaurants. They are open early and it's a great pitstop on your way to work. Service has always been fantastic for me. The staff is efficient, pleasant, and professional. I subtracted a star because they are often "out" of something. It's happened multiple times for various drinks but it is a busy location. Also when you leave the drive-thru, you are immediately facing Nordstrom Rack. Now that's good advertising. read more

hi! so me and my mom went to this Starbucks today and it was honestly just a pretty not great experience. The first barista was telling us that our order was not going through because my mom did not have enough money on her card. The order was $12.75 and my mom had $23 on her card. So I really don't know where the math went wrong there. The barista kept telling us that we only had $11 on the card. The barista went and got another barista to try to help. The next barista basically told us the same thing that the first barista told us and went and got the manager. The manager started out sweet, but became pretty assuming and kind of rude towards me and my mom. She kept telling us that the order was not going through because we didn't have enough money even though we did. She then told us that she would give us the first drink free so we only had to pay for the second one. She told us "so now your total comes out to be $10". What?!?! Our beginning price was $12.75. That definitely does not give us the first drink free. Each drink was around $6.25. That $2 off doesn't even cover half the drink. Finally we come to find out that it's the wrong order for someone named Scarlet. Oh and also somehow they messed up my moms name to Dede. And the manager charged us twice. Finally the manager told us that she sent us the money back and gave us our drinks plus a $4 gift card that won't even cover a tall drink at Starbucks. Honestly it just makes me really upset that these baristas and manager were assuming that we didn't pay and were pretty rude about the whole situation. We had went to this location around 8:00 on 17th of November to get some drinks and buy cups. They ended up having no milks and the cashier and what seemed to be a lead were being rude and laughing at my mother in law. My wife is a current employee who wanted to use her discount on her drink and was told that she needed a physical card next time even though at every over location and time they have never requested it and were fine with the digital version. They were rude and slamming the drinks on the counter. I don't mind the location, and I get hard shifts but it doesn't hurt to be nice and help each other out. We were nothing but nice to them even under their constant rudeness. The one on buena vista next to Stockdale high school is more busy but never fails to be kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the crew of This location are rude and unprofessional. I ordered several times from this location to give them a chance because maybe I was wrong before but still their attitudes are the Same all the time. Sometimes the crew assigned as cashiers are nice. But the crew where you pick up your orders are definitely not. So when I order to go coffee and sometimes I order like 10-12 cups, I definitely need a carrier. Why do I need to tell them about the carrier every single time? Sometimes they don't have it and they just have put all 10 cups in paper bags. How can I possibly hold the 10 cups of coffee in paper bags and make sure that it won't spill in my car if I don't have a carrier??? I also needed to ask them to put a sticker or a cover on the whole of every lid of the glass so the coffee won't spill in my car! Also their crew are lazy. One time I ordered coffees and I waited to pick it up and when they gave it to me, they didn't even bother to clean the lids and the body of the plastic glasses where in all the creams and caramel spilled over and the glasses were so sticky! Isn't is a protocol to clean before serving something???? I won't be going back there if possible because of these experience. Sun afternoon, craving coffee. It was not as busy as I thought it would be here! Newer location. Very clean and lots of goodies - snacks (many healthy ones too), gifts. I was impressed, especially with the selection of the "in-thing", the ceramic tumblers! Many beautiful things here were listed for under $20 (some 30% off) if you are looking for something for that gift exchange or hard-to buy-for-person! Staff was friendly, my order was correct and my coffee was ready in great time. The seating area outside was very inviting and overall, this was a great visit! I have to recommend the skinny peppermint mocha for the season. If feeling slightly naughty, add a little drizzle of their delicious caramel sauce on top. Sounds odd but it works! My husband and I have been so frustrated with the inconsistencies with the Cold Foam Cold Brew at the location closest to us.
