Whenever I stay at Buttonwillow, CA, I noticed this small taco trailer with a nice covered patio next to it. I never have any interest in food trucks or trailers. Why-because in general they suck! BUT La Jalicience 2 at 20641 Tracy Ave, Buttonwillow, CA 93206 has one thing I normally don't see-a constant amount of customers regardless of time or day. My curiosity got the better of me so on my way out of town I visited it. The grounds were clean and the trailer was well maintained. I met two young ladies who were polite and had a great attitude. One told me that they use the freshest quality ingredients. The Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus tea) is what they are known for. OK, she sold me on a breakfast burrito, ham and potato. Absolutely the best I've tried with green sauce. The Tamarindo Aqua Fresca was unlike anything I've tried-excellent! I looked at the other customers plates of tacos, burritos and other items. Everything looked fabulous! OK, so here is a first- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Taco Trailer. Next time I'm through Buttonwillow, I'm definitely going to stop there and enjoy a meal.

One of the best taco pitstops otw down to LA imo! Got tripas and buche! The service here is so nice as always. The tacos were delicious as always too - love supporting this spot. It was a bit busier at around lunch time from all the workers coming in. Def check it out if you're getting gas or charging in the area!

We were getting hungry on our way to Vegas and stopped by for some tacos At first online they said they were closed but don't be fooled. The lady was very sweet at the window, she took our order and the wait didn't take long at all. Keep in mind they even stepped out to talk and be thanked by another customer before us. Once we got our food the smell was just amazing The tortillas were hand made, the salsa was spicy and savory and great portions on the meat. They even gave us a complimentary tostada with beans best tacos I've had in a while if you ever get the chance to stop by, do so! You won't regret it !!! :D

Amazing carnitas tacos! The perfect crispiness and the salsa has great heat to it. Glad I didn't join the other at McD's because I definitely had the better lunch.

Stopped by for our second time here and the tacos were delicious once again. The flour tortillas were handmade and very fresh. I really appreciate the meat selection, we decided to try lengua and cabeza this time in addition to getting our favorites buche and tripas. They were all 100/5! The employees were all really friendly.

A new and very clean taco truck in Buttonwillow -- a nice lady working at the window. I had the asada, lengua and carnitas tacos. Surprisingly, they came with a free bean tostada. Also some radishes. Different salsas were offered, and I had the hot one. These were my preferred kind of tacos, basically meat, onions and cilantro. Very tasty salsa. The tacos were well-stuffed with meat, and served on single, thicker homemade corn tortillas.

We initially stopped over here for a quick McDonalds bathrooms break and saw a lot of taco trucks along the road. We've never been here before but the food was excellent for a taco truck! Super fresh, super flavorful with the right amount of Mexican spices done right! Not shown was the devoured especial 3 taco Plato and tacos dorados de papas! Highly recommend to try this place out if you're ever stopping off this way!!! Service was extremely quick and friendly. Ambiance of the place with clean tables with cute flower settings to keep it looking fresh. They have a pumping sink to wash your hands or they offer hand sanitizer at the truck when you're ordering your food. They take all major credit cards and zelle or cash! My husband has the Super Burrito de Carne Asada and devoured it within 6 minutes he's Mexican so he would know what tastes good! The fresh salsa was perfectly seasoned and medium spicy! Yummy! Definitely need to keep this one on my tabs if we ever go back this way!

Don't be fooled into thinking this too! We waited 40 mins for tiny pupusas (and they got our order wrong). The food itself was fine, but not at all worth the wait, and *nothing* like the heavenly food that Tita's usually provides. Two thumbs way down, next time if Tita's is closed we are going to get back on the road to head up to that Mexican place in the plaza at the Paso Robles exit.

The truck was very clean, and the person working (owner maybe?) was very professional! All five stars. You never know what to expect when you hit a new truck, and we knew we were in good hands from the start!!! What did we get? I wanted a quesadilla and asked for recommendation for what meat. The gentleman recommended carne asada and chorizo, and holy crud was that good!!! Amazing! He's totally right, this was a really good quesadilla! I'm not big on spice and asked if it was spicy. He said no, and he was right: there was just the mildest hint of spice after and it just enhanced the full flavor. We also got a chicken burrito. No joke, the burrito was almost as big as my forearm! The contents of the burrito were really good as well. Bonus, he was such good service he confirmed all the stuff on the inside to make sure it was what we wanted. Really appreciate that since I LOVE cilantro but my gf doesn't like it. That made it all the better . He also put the classic sauces in our to go bag, along with some silverware and plenty of napkins!!! These are small things but make a HUGE DIFFERENCE when you're on a road trip. Legit love this place. Will be back even if I need to go out of my way to do so!!!

I wasn't expecting the beans to look like that...kinda reminds me of beans in a can lol. Also, the salsa was awkwardly in these small plastic bags but I made it work. He doesn't sell drinks but is conveniently in the same lot as a quick mart.

Originally, we had planned on dining at Harris Ranch but after checking out their menu, I was not impressed by the choices as we would be limited to order from their breakfast menu at the time of arriving at the restaurant, and it was not an impressive selection. We quickly pivoted and came across Willow Ranch and were very excited to try so many of their dishes. We walked into the coziest little restaurant that just gives you that small town feel. Real homey and we were instantly greeted warmly by the gal at the front. She asked if we wanted to sit at the corner booth, which we gladly accepted. She took our drink order, gave us menus and let us know our server would be over shortly. Our server Destiny came over a little while later, but my son was still undecided since there was so much deliciousness to choose from, he couldn't make up his mind (it was difficult for all of us, TBH!); Destiny had to give us more time, and come back a little later. He finally settled on the Tri-tip dinner, and oh my goodness... what a fine choice he made! It was sooo tender, and melted in your mouth as soon as it hit your tongue! Wow! I don't know if I've ever had tri-tip that tender before! It was served with a fresh side salad with Italian dressing, steamed veggies, a buttered roll, and baked beans. Any time I see anything close to resembling a French Dip, I have to try it. I had the Willow Dip, which was delicious! Hot and savory served on a toasted onion bun, and a yummy au jus to dip! A close cousin to the French Dip. I substituted my side for onion rings and they had a great crunch too. My other son had the sampler platter that included chicken strips, buffalo wings, onion rings and mozzerrella sticks but asked his chicken strips be subbed for all buffalo wings, and Destiny was so sweet and accomodating. My daughter ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with french fries and they were both to kill for!Sooo so good!! Literally like a slice of heaven that Philly Cheesesteak! It may have been my favorite of all the food we had today! My husband ordered the Plow Boy and it was loaded with meat and really tasty! We were so stuffed, we could not finish it all! We are definitely coming back here on our way back home, we still have so much more to try... the Ranch Benedict, the Chicken Fried Steak, the Ribeye steak! The staff is amazing! Hats off to your chefs! This restaurant is stellar! Will be making this a must visit on our annual SoCal trips!

One gets a generous portion and the sandwich was big enough for my husband and I to share with a side of tasty sweet potatoe fries (a bit extra - or you can get plain potato fries for no extra charge). We also got a side of the creamy coleslaw which is ok and even better if you add salt and a dash of malt vinegar (it needs acid imo). I didn't take a photo of the sandwich because so many other yelpers have already done so. But trust me it's worth the stop. Service is super warm and friendly, the place is spotlessly clean, and I am a fan. We liked the sandwich so much we ordered another to go for lunch the next day. I only wish I had room for pie! They offer a wide selection of pies and I've gotta think they are yummy too. Next time.

Whenever I drive to Los Angeles, this is the one place I look forward to stopping at for delicious, homestyle food. It has become a tradition for me to visit both on my way to LA and on my return to the Bay Area. The staff is always warm, polite, and welcoming--they truly make you feel at home. There is usually a bit of a wait, but that's because they prepare the food fresh, and they never disappoint. The quality, taste, and consistency make the wait worthwhile. I only wish they would open a franchise in the Bay Area! Until next time, keep growing and serving the same fresh, delicious food.
